Sad to see so many places closing. I think about all the people losing their jobs. This one opened in the early 70's I believe. I remember eating there growing up. Thanks for visiting.
Actually there are 4 locations of Red Lobster that are actively still in business in North Richland Hills, Texas Fort Worth, Texas (Hulen) Irving, Texas and Greenville, Texas 🦞🦐🦀
I never eaten at Red Lobster as I don't like seafood. We did have their Cheddar biscuits but didn't make them. I hate when I'm at a building and it rains and water drips on my head from the roof.
My youngest sister worked at a Red Lobster 🦞 here in the Poconos as head waitress years ago. Would be nice if ma & pa took over both them places, homemade southern cooking is sooo delicious 😋 Enjoy the warm southern weather. Thanks for for the video. Stay safe and take care👍
Wallie just keep up on those CVT tranny fluid changes every 25 to 30k. You should be fine. I think that generation has a dipstick for the transmission, which is a lot easier than using a scan tool. Good luck!
Why, hello, everyone! I'm out here in Cayce, South Carolina, and I have an abandoned Red Lobster. This one closed in August of this year, um.. As the company has been dealing with financial troubles over the last couple of years, and closing down locations. They closed one in Erie, Pennsylvania that I did a video, and they closed several other locations around the country, unfortunately, this was one of them to get the act. Now, a lot of the blines are down over the window, so we won't be able to see inside very well, but there's going to be pictures of this on Google, which I can point at the end of the video, stay tuned for that. But anyway, I thought since we're out here, I would do a video of it, y'know, a lot of these are becoming a extinct now, and we're really in a situation where a lot of businesses at the year end anymore, file for bankruptcy or close down locations like TGI Fridays is in financial troubles, Big Lots, Party City, and well we have this now, what's just gonna be sitting here for who knows how long until something else may move in. You know, be nice and see another business move in here preferably a mom and pop restaurant or business, and bring jobs back here and bring it to something local instead of a giant chain, like Red Lobster. Not that their food is bad, or they have any problems, you know, support the smaller businesses, make them strong, and with this building now being closed, it gives that opportunity to somebody that could basically live a dream. Anyway, let's check this building out and see what we find! There you go, red lobster! Closed up, looks like they got some roof damage when they were trying to take the signage off, I'm sure that's where it said Red Lobster. And probably on the side where there's like, a GIANT whole with no roof, the blines are down, so we won't really be able to see in there, I do always like this about these older Red Lobsters, that have the roof overhead here, so, you're dropping other people off, you can stay dry. You can see the abandoned pizza hut next door. I did a video there months ago. That's been closed, nothing's happened with it, more paper is falling down off the windows than anything, but when I filmed that, this was still open. So, now we have this, next to it. So two restaurants, looks like somebody was burning something here. Not really sure why. Peek-inside: Windows are all fogged up, they're fogged up from like the moisture of the water, so, we don't know what we can see, any better in there, no, not really. I don't know. Maybe somebody was just, being a goof or I don't know, tryna cause trouble, I like these flowers growing here in December, they look perfectly fine except for some of the flowers that dried off, it is in the upper 50s right now, it's almost 60 degrees, so. Anyway, let's take a look around this place, they left a couple of seats out here. In case there was a way to get in, DON'T SIT ON THAT ONE. It looks like it might give out any second if I sat here, it probably would. They had their four to-go spots right here. At both sides: 'Roof access.' Can't really see in this part of the restaurant at all. Heard a big bang inside of that building. Pizza hut: Hey, you wanna take a look in there? Let's take a glance, been a long time! I remember when I did the video of the pizza hut, People were looking at me like, what's this idiot doing? As you can see, nothing changed in here WHATSOEVER. A little bit of an update for you. Yuck! Water hitting that, that's what I heard! Back to red lobster: Anyway, let's just continue on. Now who would've thought this would close? After i did my video next door. Oh, the doorbell's gone. I can't, can I, I CAN, but there's nothing there. Another Red Lobster Peek-inside: See in there a little bit not very well. OH. Cold water just dripped on my head. Right on my face. *laughs* Anyway, there's a look inside. Can't really see in there too well. Peek at it. NOTHING. Let's continue. Back of the restaurant: To-go, You drive around this way, park right there, they bring your food, Those cheddar biscuits! Heck yeah. Admittedly, I haven't been to red lobster in a couple of years, It's been a long time since I've been to one, It's not my first choice of food. Not that there's anything wrong with it. *laughs* An old speaker. It's just not my first choice for food. Wouldn't think there was winter out here, say that. The blines are down, you can't see inside whatsoever. However, with the power of Google, we'll be able to at the photos, of people posted and reviews. 'No smoking.' Wet out here! I don't know. That's OK with me. Gigantic parking lot and probably some of this parking lot is for the businesses next door. Even got parking all over back here. We didn't walk back here. Let's look in here real quick. Nothing to see. Over there guys, at least rare for me, you don't see these upnorth. Walmart neighborhood market. We don't have them upnorth. At least not in my part of Pennsylvania or any other part of it I've never been to. Nore Ohio. But I only see them downsouth. You see a downview from Texas or Arkansas. Not much going on in here. But a rug. Attaboy. This is a pretty large location very capable of having another host in here. Shame you can't see inside of it. You'll have the pictures at the end of the video to enjoy. Even if it's just a view it's better than none. Right-side: Maybe you can see through that door here? Perhaps, let's take a look! See what we find! Anything? I can only see in the restaurant a little bit. The window tent is very dark. With the blines down, it's very hard to see. Looks like they stripped a lot of stuff out. Just a few boot seats and a random table remaining, but not much. So, yeah. That's that, though. There's a damage to the roof while I was mentioning earlier. More than lightly said Red Lobster here, I can't remember off the top of my head. They put a pretty good gash into the roof there. So you're going to have to do a little bit of repairs there, and put a new tile up. So, anyway, guess that will wrap up this video. It was a little bit on the shorter side. Back to the beginning where you started: Hope you enjoyed it nevertheless. Hopefully something good can move into this. I'm kinda surprised nothing has moved into the pizza hut. The pizza huts seem to be repurposed, right away. So I'm kinda shocked that nothing's moved in there yet. Unless whoever owns the building just wants too much money for the lease. Definitely will keep people away. Oh, well, signing off. Back to the person screen: Well guys, I hope you enjoyed the video, Nice little walk around, it's unbelievable how the last week of December is this warm down here. I don't really need a hoodie on, I just have it on. For later when it gets cooler, but I don't even need it on right now, take that, and uh.. I'll tell you what, the drive down here was exhausting! It rained from Morgantown, West Virginia, ALL THE WAY TO COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA!! It's unbelievable how much it rained! But cricket, the new car I got, Held up really well, and drove perfectly fine. Drinks more gas than the bee. I'll say that. That's the only thing about it. Held up very well. So, I'm glad that I have him and am grateful to have that. So, I'll keep doing videos, liking visit friends and special people and get the hangout with people I don't get to normally see. Many thanks to Mary, for bringing me here today, as a matter of fact, see what else we can find while I'm down here because these weekends go very quick.Anyway, hope you enjoyed the video! Beautiful abandoned video, Wallie! This restaurant looks like an opportunity to have a new tenant but needs some roof repairs. When they’re taking off the Red Lobster signs from this restaurant, they made holes in the roof, hahahahaha!!!!! Somebody is burning something at the entrance, seems like they’re trying to burn this restaurant down. They left an old speaker in the back, hahahahaha!!!!! The parking lot for Red Lobster is huge!!! You forgot to film the sign that’s facing the street, silly you!
Danke!
Thank you so much!!!
I grew up eating at that Red Lobster. You came to my town.
Red Lobster has emerged from bankruptcy but I'm not sure how long they will be able to stay that way. Great video, Wallie. Happy New Year bro!
We had a Red Lobster in Jensen Beach, FL. It's now closed. Awesome restaurant.

Another great video! Lot's of these places are closing up! That Pizza Hut looks to be in pretty bad shape!
