I really appreciate your video man. It really puts into perspective how pro players see the game. It's amazing the kind of intrincate and creative gameplay you have to come up with in order to play against some of the better characters! instantly subbed
@@THECOALITION2001 Yeah, the latest patch was kind to him. His zair is better too. Up air has a lot more kill power. The only thing that is good is it's random what side of Yink's up B you pop out on and it's D.I. dependent. Up B to up air at about 125-150 on Palu kills on FD. He also has d-tilt to up air at about 110. Leffen was talking about it
Hey Verm, love your content. It's nice to see a matchup chart for Ganondorf. A lot of folks in groups seem to think Ganon is either OP or goes even with most of the cast and I've argued he absolutely does not and needs fixes. He's still one of my favourite characters to play in Ult and my first dedicated main. Have since switched to Pikachu (sorry😭) because he was my very first main in Smash 64 and I love him. What would you say needs to be fixed in order to make Ganondorf a more competent character without so many clear losing matchups?
As a richter main, I find ganon to be incredibly easy. Whip keeps him at bay supported by the projectiles, big target, easy to combo and setup on, and personally Don’t ledgetrap all the time ganon, I go offstage and use my 2 Bowser long whip on ganon incredibly weak recovery. Off chance it misses, rockrock. Also Belmont ledgetrapping is not just about throwing holy water and wait and see, it can be much more complicated than that.
I think Parana plant is a lot more difficult he can just walk you out with all the bullshit and ganon is too slow and big to not get hit by discount gordo
So pratically any strong Ganondorf main makes MU chart and Ganondorf has A LOT of losing MU, and people Say Ganondorf doesn't need buff... Also am i the Only that thinks that Peach isn't that bad? Because upair and Nair are good option againist float
Ganon edge guards Bowser easily while Bowser can't. Bowser can't get off the ledge. Bowser's flame rarely works against ganons up B cuz we'll get hit. Flame choke at the ledge fucks us. Nair, Nair, Nair... Idk man, I still believe it's in ganons favor. Im a pretty good Bowser main, mained him in smash 4 as well. We can play and settle this lol
john smith your main points for this matchup to be in Ganondorf’s favor was edgeguarding, getting off of ledge, and Nair so let me address these. Bowser can absolutely edgeguard Ganondorf. His fire breath can rack up like 40% and drop zone fair is really good. If you let Ganondorf get under the ledge, that’s when you have difficulties edgeguarding him (but you can still get the fire breath in that scenario). If you knock him off stage, it’s incredibly easy to go out deep and fair Ganondorf before he can get under the ledge. You next point was getting off of ledge. I agree with this for the most part but one thing you didn’t mention was jump side b off of ledge. It is super fast and has deceptively long range so that is a great option. The only move that Ganondorf can reactively use to that is maybe jab, but bowser will get it 90% of the time. The last point you mentioned was Nair. The two main positions you’ll be in neutral when he’s using Nair is when he’s trying to stuff you out and when he’s pressuring you. If he’s trying to stuff you out, you can use fire breath to chip at him at a long range and you can hit him before he jumps with forward air. If he’s pressuring you, you can shield it and up b oos to punish him. You’re right, flame choke destroys bowser at ledge but with these things I mentioned, I can comfortably say that Bowser wins the matchup, but not by a large margin.

No shit a good 3 hour video I can listen too.
The one saving grace in the Young Link matchup is that it's kinda difficult for him to carry you offstage and he's pretty bad at juggling
And not to mention he has low killpower
@@THECOALITION2001 beyond his smashes yeah, but YL angles are good and he can carry you across stage goood
Not anymore. Now he has a 50% chance of confirming up air from up B out of shield
@@kyle88740 oh no

Funny how ppl thought that ganon isn’t absolute shit

Its very hell for ganon but your recovery as a Belmont is just as easy to gimp, throw, nair, nair dead Belmont lol
You would be surprised how flexible our recovery can be
Looks like you're itch for smash is returning a little. *Opens popcorn bag*
Glad It’s not just me finding Ganon’s back air unreasonably hard to land
Ive played wario dittos with peace!2 very cirlce camp heavy yeah 🤣
Gobbblin I have tooo, it’s gross
Do you have the video game music playlist you’re using shared anywhere?
Enjoyed this

What does the yellow tier read?
Nightmarish, but worth attempting if you're as dumb as me
Rhetco lmao

I bet 20 bucks w my friend that I would play random he’ll play ganon and that I would get a win or even mu and I got Mac so now I’m sad
Did he say he sold smash?
Ya I did to, the game is lacking competitively i decided to move on to another games.
Speed to 1.5
Ganon vs Bowser is definitely in ganons favor
Lol are you serious? Its even at best, at worst a -2 for ganon.
