What i dont understand is if 100T is such Frauds how did they win 10 games. They didnt luck into 10 wins. You have "better" teams struggling to go .500. Its clear scrimms are woeful. The entire league has stated it. But how do they get zero respect for actually winning games that matter.

Is there a way to get the videos while they are members only to be able to be played in the background? I joined the membership to be able to listen early but I'm not able to do that. 😔
no, you need youtube premium for that feature on mobile.

Yeah, that’s a YT Premium feature. You might be able to do it by playing from the browser (Vinegar app if you’re on iOS), but ever since they started cracking down on ad blockers it hasn’t been reliable/started causing other issues :(

MVP/All-Pro didn’t get talked about as much because we had HUGE GAP in the middle of our season and very little on broadcast time dedicated to it. Less narrative, less time to talk, less games…less LCS means less LCS. Plain and simple
So Jojo only needs to CS the best to win MVP?
It's 100% cope thinking C9 is anywhere near the top of their game. Their last game was one of the worst performances by any pro team. They lost to Immortals this weekend. The last place team. They had one of the longest games of the split against the second to last place team. 100T's entire team is on top of their game. Meech leading the league in kills and damage per minute, Sniper has more solo kills this last weekend than anyone else has had all season.
Yeah tbh I don't think C9 is playing that well but also unless they actually choke in playoffs it's reasonable to assume they will win.
Especially if Azir is enabled
When it comes to MVP. The way I look at it is:
What is the most valuable thing for an LCS team during regular season? winning games
So MVP should be the player who contributes the most to winning games.
Jojo is a phenomenal player, but the only thing +15 csd did for his team was make the games average length a few minutes longer in losses.
Both river and inspired benefit heavily from having a really good topside of the map this split. They are playing around it a lot as they should but still not sure it means they themselves are the most valuable.
Quid is still the person I think fits my criteria the best. Especially in the way he played sidelines on champs like Taliyah and his game on hwei. Him out performing in several x vs 1 scenarios while waiting for his team to show up/take objectives, was winning them games.
With all that said. I still couldn’t find myself to vote for Quid even if I had a ballot in hand. Therefore, this whole post has been irrelevant.

This is a pretty funny example of what the problems are in the LCS in general lmao. We have a GM wanting to send the 2 on paper best teams because they practice good. Who cares what C9 practices like if they go on stage and shit their pants. Respect to those players I hope they come together and make an MSI run but to say C9 in their current form would be good for NA is laughable. NRG was our best performing worlds team in some time and also had a rep for being not great in scrims. If they gave out awards for practicing good 2016 TSM would’ve been world champs. I do not wonder why we struggle as a region with these guys having the keys

I’m not quite sure I am understanding you correctly, so if I interpret this wrong I am sorry.
First off, this drama happened during the off season, so no, the team was not locked at the time. Secondly, your statement kinda insinuates doublelift would get some monetary benefit from being on TL. Sure he would be paid well, but he gets way more money from streaming, so it wouldn’t make sense to join a team just for a “panic payday” when that would result in him getting LESS money.

i think you are right, but the timeline slightly off. I would imagine that when Saudi Arabia does their esports tournament that they wouldn't care about riot rules regarding rosters. There is a bonus for teams that perform in the top 3 and Liquid has a few rosters in different games (although CS and Valorant have been underperforming as well) so I could see TL being willing to offer up a contract for the chance to play in that tournament.

While I agree DL tends to be involved in drama, both things can be true in that Dodo did the things DL accused him of. A broken clock is right twice a day kind of logic.
I see what you’re saying, but whether or not DL is a “problem” he’s bringing attention to the scene and any attention is positive when LCS is in desperate need of it. Realistically, this whole thing is such a big beige nothing anyways. DL called out a GM for being misleading during a conversation around a potential* roster that was unlikely to start with. He didn’t call for a witch-hunt on Dodo or something. Said he thinks he’s shit at his job and looking at how the TLs roster is doing…..is he wrong?
It's not just Doublelift. It's also Leena, his handler, encouraging him and others to leak drama.
Hearing you talk about Doublelift drama (one of many) is always infuriating, Travis, and in future it may be best to just stay out of the conversation to avoid bias and not put your guests off from actually saying how it is:-
