@@macabrecreation1067 You have to be Elite spec Mirage and press dodge you will see your number 1 skill change to the ambush skill, its very quick as you only have 1 and a half seconds to act, every weapon has a different ambush skill so if your using a staff you wont jump as thats the sword ambush skill
As the mate says, it is an ambush skill, a unique Mirage mechanic. Every time you dodge, you be able to use it in every weapon, and each one is different. The sword one makes you leap and you can use it offensively (which hits and interrupt an enemy), defensively to disengage or just for mobility.

@@mathiashansen9108 there are people of all levels, and you are almost always paired with people of your level. It is true that sometimes the matchmaking is not the best, but I don't think it is the only reason why you lose fights, as many people say. However, at low levels is where the difference in skill is usually most noticeable.
@@mathiashansen9108it's hard to say honestly. WoW's pvp is supposedly alive with pro play and all, but waiting for 1.5h in a queue just to need to wait for another hour cuz someone went afk and didn't accept the match made me quit playing it. That doesn't happen in Gw2, queues are relatively short at every hour of the day and u don't usually get paired with and against exactly the same people, but some might be the same.
tbf portal is a bit useless in solo Q . nobody will watch out for them as u saw in your first portal. nobody reacted to that. u can better use another skill to carry more.
You're right man, but I play them because I find them so much fun. Also, sometimes you find someone who makes good use of them or is attentive, and for me that's more satisfying than winning games.
that is patently untrue, good players will hear the portal and make a snap decision on whether to come or not. as for the "first portal" you eluded to, that wasn't for his teammates as you can see by the placement they wouldn't have even been able to reach it and what purpose would it even serve for them? help capture an empty node? No that portal was for him in case another enemy came to far point he could leave and help Plus mid fight while leaving far decapped (like a true roamer should) it's obvious he is an experienced roamer, looks like a thief manipulating the map

Nice!! Took a multi year break from the game and just getting back into it. Thanks for the fun display! Def learned some new tricks!

Mirage
nice video what is your build in video can you share plzz :=)
you can see it at the end of the video :)
how are you doing damage as a mesmer?
You need to do your burst as fast as you can, then try to interrupt any cleansing/healing of the enemy :)
Amigo
Про мошеннические схемы неожиданно было, но очень полезно!!! 👍😅
Hiw you advance forward so fast?
That's a sword ambush skill that's usable when u enter Mirage Cloke (mirage's dodge roll).
why does your sword 1 make you leap???
how???
Dodge on mirage opens up ambush skills for like 2 seconds bit like when a thief attacks from stealth
but mine doesn't do that 😂

What "still active/next to dead" means for you?
