And the man himself who made and continues to make all this incredible music for us all to enjoy. 58 tracks on this edition have never appeared on CD before! And 29 are previously unreleased from Richard’s vaults!! Some amazing mixes, demos and never before heard versions!
Hoping for a Mystery 40th Anniversary SDE blu-ray with hi-res stereo, dolby atmos + maybe remix from Steven Wilson in collaboration with Paul Sinclair from superdeluxeedition (Richard & Steven Wilson together in the studio would be awesome). I remember Clouds Across the Moon from my early childhood, but didn't know the title / band until youtube / internet existed. I had to let remove tonsils, and when leaving the hospital to go home with my parents, I remember the radio in the car was playing 'Clouds', Propaganda 'Duel' and Pretenders 'Don't Get Me Wrong' - never forgot those tracks and that moment. Through the years I bought a few 80s comps to get the track (Pré Historie - belgian compilation series) ... Just before the box set arrived I finally found the 1989 reissues on cd. Although 'Clouds' was the only track I've heard of, the rest of the album sounds so familiar and brings me back to 1985. It feels like I have known this album all my life, it's a very strange intergalactic feeling 😅 I have a large music collection, but the Rah Band cd's and box sets have a very special place in my heart (also Orkestronique).
It would be great if you would guest on the Sounds Of The 80s Show with Gary Davies on Radio 2. And either do an interview with Gary Davies or submit my 80s choosing your best 80s songs. I love your songs you did such as Falcon, Slide and Clouds Across The Moon. I also loved Perfumed Garden.
