Nah it would be a lot more interesting if he didn’t have the custom items because they make the game less challenging. Also using custom items isn’t anything new people have been doing this for years to the point where it’s just not interesting at all. Actually doing the challenge without all the custom items would be a lot more interesting because the game would actually be more difficult.
