Every franchise he coached made the playoffs. 3 franchises under him made the conference championship game and of course he coached in 3 Super Bowls winning 2. The man was a winner everywhere he went. A true titan of the game. Bill you’re dearly missed by all fans.

I was too young to remember him coaching the Giants but I sure miss him! Honestly may have the most impressive resume of any coach. It’s unreal that he turned around 4 franchises almost day 1 and made the playoffs

Someone had a story about Parcells at a practice yelling at a player. "Bill, how can you see what they're doing? There are players in between. I can't even see the guy. How can you?" "I can't. I have a list of five people to yell at today, and he's one of them."

The full clip is actually is a good example of how Parcells could reach players and how he communicated. He then goes on to say that all players will get beat in practice, not to get down on himself and that he just needs to keep working and he will get it back.

This guy came @ the right F'N time. In 1982 they were nobodies. He made the Giants a winning time in 2 years. And 2 rings. I feel most of those players would appreciate him now and thank God Ray Perkins left for Alabama and Pete Rozelle force-fed George Young in '78. You had Young, Parcella and Belichick in the mix. It was the perfect storm. Unfortunately his style of coaching wouldn't fly in 2022

Bill Parcels is right, they don't really practice anymore. The only way to get better at football and keep fundamentals sharp is to actually play football. Teams aren't aloud to do full contact scrimmaging anymore, and it is a huge part of why the NFL kinda sucks now.
