Every franchise he coached made the playoffs. 3 franchises under him made the conference championship game and of course he coached in 3 Super Bowls winning 2. The man was a winner everywhere he went. A true titan of the game. Bill you’re dearly missed by all fans.
I was too young to remember him coaching the Giants but I sure miss him! Honestly may have the most impressive resume of any coach. It’s unreal that he turned around 4 franchises almost day 1 and made the playoffs
Someone had a story about Parcells at a practice yelling at a player. "Bill, how can you see what they're doing? There are players in between. I can't even see the guy. How can you?" "I can't. I have a list of five people to yell at today, and he's one of them."
The full clip is actually is a good example of how Parcells could reach players and how he communicated. He then goes on to say that all players will get beat in practice, not to get down on himself and that he just needs to keep working and he will get it back.
"Come on Romo, you should have known pre-snap what to do there." Now Romo predicts what's gonna happen pre-snap better than anyone I've ever seen in the booth, week-in and week-out! Parcells for the win!!!
Soft soaches like Adam Gase and Robert Saleh should have gone to the "Bill Parcells Player Motivation" school. Bill let them all know who was running the show.
This guy came @ the right F'N time. In 1982 they were nobodies. He made the Giants a winning time in 2 years. And 2 rings. I feel most of those players would appreciate him now and thank God Ray Perkins left for Alabama and Pete Rozelle force-fed George Young in '78. You had Young, Parcella and Belichick in the mix. It was the perfect storm. Unfortunately his style of coaching wouldn't fly in 2022
Unfortunately the NFL has become so soft that this coaching style would get you fined by the league commissioner, who btw, sucks. I miss Pete Rozelle who was the best ever.
Bill Parcels is right, they don't really practice anymore. The only way to get better at football and keep fundamentals sharp is to actually play football. Teams aren't aloud to do full contact scrimmaging anymore, and it is a huge part of why the NFL kinda sucks now.
Everytime I ever see Bill Parcells on film, I see him ripping some guy a new one or making fun of some guy. Did Bill ever pass along a complement for a job well done??

After reading your comment, I thought he was dead! Lol...I had to double check =)
@@pwrofrob me too. Lol

"He don't have to play Doc, all he's gotta do is kick." Classic!
"Some of these guys gotta get their heads outta their ass here" looking directly at him as he walked by 😂😂😂😂
the legendary #56
Love it lol
and that was LT! Just another part of his method...the stars often got it worse than the scrubs so everyone would notice.
"Well he don't have to play, doc... all he has to do is kick."
😄 😆
He don’t have to play Doc, all he has to do is kick! 😊Best quote ever!

That's the type of coach every team needs.
"you need to get your ass kicked around a little bit" lol
Parcell is The Godfather of Football!
Parcells should be #1 on this list. The guy is hilarious.
"Hey, you need to get your ass kicked around a little bit."
...to one of the best offensive guards to ever play the game.
Ignatius probably the best lineman to ever play the game.
The full clip is actually is a good example of how Parcells could reach players and how he communicated. He then goes on to say that all players will get beat in practice, not to get down on himself and that he just needs to keep working and he will get it back.
Carlos Beltran he’s up their with Munoz and Hannah
@@carlosbeltran7264 he was great...will shields was better
God I woudve loved to see the Swiftie Side Peace try to get into Bill Parcells' face like he did with Andy Reid.
amazing coach.

100
Bromo!
"Hey Jumbo, that ain't Michigan State over there." That's funny.
He's top 3 easily, if not #1. Go home, NFL Films. You're drunk.
Back when $900,000 was elite money
Road House NFL was practically stealing money away from those guys
@@johnberry2678 ^they still are
For Lawrence Taylor.... damn shame
LT worth at least $40 Million a year now. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
🤣🤣 he ripped LT up... LT just kept going
Those were the good old days. There is no giants fans that doesn’t miss the Tuna.
01:06 larry allen.is there anyone in the league that can do it?(I know he struggled early at tackle.
Bill parcells too real to coach in the modern NFL
I agree -- how the heck is Bill Parcells only ranked at #7?? Should be near the top of the list.
He was the king of the one liners...
Parcells shud b way higher
" Come on Romo, you should have known pre-snap what to do there."
Anyone who rips on Tony Romo is ok in my book.
DudeTalk You dumb then if you can’t appreciate how talented he was as a QB.
It'd so weird how the older generation equated screaming abusive language as "good coaching,"
Because it was and still is. But when society and culture is governed by weak people, it becomes shunned.
Shut up Simms!!! LOL
Matthew Hood lmaoooo was simms calling one of his linemen a fatass 😂😂😂
This guy should of been #1 on this list
Soft soaches like Adam Gase and Robert Saleh should have gone to the "Bill Parcells Player Motivation" school. Bill let them all know who was running the show.
Reminds me of Bruce Willis--must be a 'New Jersey' thing.
William Fout Damn straight it's a Jersey thing. That's why as much as we loved him, we got on his ass when the "Jints" lost.
amen
Parcells, a great coach was as real as they come. That also happens to be a great way to live life. Be real. Be yourself.

He should in the top 5
Shut up Simms!! my favorite one!
THE TUNA!!!! BEST COACH IN NFL EVER.
We need more coaches like Parcells. All these players getting busted off the field.
Surprise Mike Dikta wasn't on the top ten list
Parcells for #1
That’s not Michigan state down there. That Philadelphia, not Michigan state. I know if it was you’d be real nervous
Unfortunately the NFL has become so soft that this coaching style would get you fined by the league commissioner, who btw, sucks. I miss Pete Rozelle who was the best ever.

Agreed 100%
same with nba they rest workout and play in home gyms. Guys like kobe gilbert AI and jordan put in there contract to play ball whenever they wanted
Parcells will always be Numbah One in Mike's book.
I guess #51 on the Giants got into another fight because I have absolutely no idea who that guy is.
Byron Hunt
Bobby Abrams. Hunt was long gone by then.
Tell him to throw up on his own time.
@ 0:21 LOL
Parcels and Handley wearing the same clothes.
He is great lol
Lol most coaches wish they could be bill parcels
Parcells > Belicheat....
pacells need to be way higher
Does he have a brother who can coach?? Send him to Dallas!
Everytime I ever see Bill Parcells on film, I see him ripping some guy a new one or making fun of some guy. Did Bill ever pass along a complement for a job well done??
Matt Smith Mark Bavaro always got compliments!!
He said, "Nice throw Romo, Attaboy" He gave compliments too, but they're not as much fun to watch.
His former players love him. He could balance it.
Yep, when LT played an entire game with a busted shoulder, I believe.
That's not Michigan State down there.... Damn right. This is Philadelphia.
Dude, you completely missed her point. It went way over your head.
The sleepy mattock mostly peck because rutabaga evocatively suggest next a disillusioned brass. animated, deeply drama
Lol
Bill parcels never won anything without bellichick
Bullshit. What did Belichick win before he was around Parcells? Where do you think he learned how to coach, Einstein? From Ray f*ck1ng Perkins?
Didn't have him in Dallas and took them to the playoffs.
stop😎
First
Some one leave him in compton please.
