Full Alignment - Philippines High Speed Rail (Calabarzon)
- This video outlines a 140-kilometre high speed rail line which would connect the cities of Manila and Lucena in 40 minutes. It would bring growth to cities and towns and the Philippine economy. The trains are capable of 350 km/h but it would only perform this between Lipa and Lucena.
It would carry as many as 49 million passengers a year with a ticket from Manila to Lucena would cost approximately ₱700.
Don't forget to share this around with your family and friends, especially if you or someone you know lives around the alignment.
eto tlga gusto kong maisakatuparan ung manila to Sorsogon City... khit di ako bicolano pero dream kong mangyare toh...

Hay naku, daming critics, it's under feasibility study nga eh, di gagawin yan kung di maga-gawa, alam na nila kung saan galing ang pera, "how to fund this project" otherwise they won't even be talking about it. If you defined Filipinos very negatively, then your one of those that doesn't deserve to be one of us. There are so many changes since my arrival and to my surprise, this exceed my expectation. I believe in the philippines, still proud to be a FILIPINO.
Abraham Macalino many such nice, fantastic dreams were discussed before from many past presidents but nothing happened. Its just a dream. Filipinos love making dreams but lack the spirit ,discipline, capability to turn dreams into reality .
Abraham Macalino i
+Phuc Yu approve without thinking
Nasa imagination ko lang talaga to na magkaroon ng Train batangs to manila hanggang sa amin sa nueva ecija excited nako sa mabuo to Salamat press DU30 build buil build program
Clear explanation bro and great suggestion. Batangas is an industrialized province if this dream would be executed would be a great benefits for Calabarzon Area.
Building a intergrated Phillapeans is going to be hard (not counting the religious and political problems) and seeing it would be amazing (trains moving at 250 m.p.h.s) b ut to me the most amazing thing is to see if the phillipeans attach their nation to Borneo and mainland Asia. That would be amazinf for the econemy. I saw a chart that said Phillipeans would be a top 10 wealthy country qwithin 40-50 years. its going to have to have a top notch transport sector by then with many tunnels under the sea.
Very nice project (Philippines High Speed Rail - Calabarzon) Hope it will be implemented in the near future!
May budget na
No imposible
Go go go
"#LORD , let my beloved homeland arise & shine again....have miracle to the Philippines ,we need your help o #LORD to this a lots of projects & jobs ...& thy will be done ,"!
There is a PNR Line from Calamba, Laguna up to Bauan, Batangas.
Knowing PRRD well when he said he will do it, he can do it. He and his secretaries will find a way to fulfill their promises to the Filipino people. Mayor Digong is a man of his words. He never promised anything that he can't deliver. I am a witness to that when he was our Mayor in Davao City.
No nothing happened. Obviously there will be bigger reasons that even any president can't do that so easily. There are factors that would make this not considerable as an option, for now.
Wow! 😃it's a brighter future for next generation! # Mabuhay Pilipinas God bless. ❤️
Hello. Good to see high speed rail in philippines.
From Malaysia.
yes to federalism and parliamentary system
If our leaders just workout for this development and not on their political career. Please move on and forget the grudges of the past and work on to our present situation. We are being left behind by other countries who are below us before. You promise heaven to masses during your campaign and its time to create opportunities for the people.
many sections of main line south are good for narrow gauge due of terrains.and turning radius.especially reaching bae laguna to san pablo..a new railway alignment is a must.the old ones sitting at populous residential such as calamba san pablo and sariaya up to lucena. hindi pa feasible sa ngaun iyang ganyang kabilis na train system due of high maintainance.di biro maintainance iyan at mas mahal pa sa fare ng plane ticket iyan.kaya sa japan hindi pa rin nila inaalis ang mga narrow gauge trains na 100kph ang tinatakbo.bukod nagagamit pa sa freight.
when I visited Lucena few months ago the old PNR railway station is being reconstructed. I'm not sure if that's the project.
Shet Im proud of Duterte Admin matutupad na train batangas to manila
Wow!!!.... I'm looking forward to have that in the Philippines.....I explored to China long time ago just to experienced how fast the bullet train.....cool....I love it!!!
Congrats Philippines, 🇮🇩🇵🇭

Why is the negativity? Before even get started? Just like for foreigners think about Filipinos are not ambitious. Filipinos are innovative and eager to learn but yet also have a tendency to think the negative outcome first, before they ever tried to do it. Filipinos are bless with multiple cultures and they should think positive and possible that can be achieved without judgement.
Wow..I'm looking forward to this..
Wow im a from Lucena City this would be on of my answered prayers
Most bullet train in Tokyo runs at 200-320 km/hr. At 350 km/hr , you will be in Lipa approx 12 mins, 20 mins in lucena and an hour in legaspi/ sorsogon. The fare however is almost the same as taking an airplane. Can the masses afford it? In Tokyo only the middle class to rich uses this because one way fare is more than 3.5k pesos for the nearest destination. The reason for the high fare is it consume a lot of energy/power and the material of the coaches and tracks are super durable to withstand high speed thus expensive including maintenance and spare parts. It maybe feasible after many decades. What is doable is what they call in Japan Tokkyu or limited express or rapid rail which run much lower than a Shinkansen ( bullet train)
You are using Japan as the medium of comparison. You are certainly forgetting China. Chinese bullet trains can easily reach 400 and is quite cheap. For 3.5k pesos, you can go from Beijing to Shanghai (roughly the distance from Fukuoka to Tokyo). And we are talking about Chinese bullet trains.
Short distance such as Panjin to Yingkou cost CNY41 or 296 pesos. That is still expensive for commuting public. As you said Beijing to Shanghai is 3500 pesos already. The Chinese government is subsidizing the fares that's why it's cheaper than Tokyo. Can our government do that? It's a burden already for the subsidy given to our LRT/MRT.
When commuting is faster people are more productive. The more productive you are the more money you earn.
Amazing; I really hope it will be soon like in Europe love it !!!
OMG! IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME!!!!! WAAAY LONG OVERDUE
It is a good feeling that this infrastructure can be built, but for me it is not feasible to built a high speed train as of the moment reason it is too costly to built, malamang Nyan ibabawi Yan sa fare , kaunti lang Ang makaka afford Nyan many would still prefer riding in a bus which is cheaper Hindi naman highly congested sa traffic Ang area at industrialized ,for now drawing lang muna Yan
Very exciting project maybe its not real but when it does it will usher in a new age for the Philipines.
No doubt this is going to be great for tourism and of course locals.
An exciting age for Philipines. 👍😀
yes to economic development, investing and minimized traffic congestion..Yong line ng PNR sa ground at sa taas ang the best!!!double the bullet train. maintain peace and order!!!!eh do wowwww..train sa baba at train sa taas!!!
I live in the Republic of the Philippines. Our country needs faster transportation and lesser traffic. Sometimes, there is always traffic. That express train line to CALABARZON will be great.
i hope and i pray someday this will happen :)
nice presentation
Connectivity with other transport mode is very important.
No waiting, just drop off n pickup.
Amazing
SIGE PO MALAKING PAG ASENSO . PARA MAG SILIPAT ANG MGA NEGOSYO PATI MGA TAO PATI MGA SASAKYAN..GO GO AHEAD FR. DJ SN2 2MAS BTS. PHILS.
very detailed information. thank you Also will there be a pit stop in the Inosluban Lipa City area? it would be a good idea since Inosluban is a good location to the pit stop. Is there a new update this this full alignment again? thanks
Awesome, awesome, awesome
This is doable simultaneously in any projects, it may going south or north and whatever but the thing is PRRD had to work double to these and in my opinion they can.....nothing is impossible!!!!
this is a good project. 200km to 250kms is safe enough for this train. It has to have its own powerplant. Perhaps a LNG source with solar cells along the tracks maybe a viable solution.
Bobby de Jesus a power plant would be enough to power the train and the neighbours living nearby thats a good idea 👍
Waw salamat pomag kaka ruin Marin train.salamat satagal konadinasal .....
Interesting concept, however the ROW beginning at 5:10 will conflict with the currently under construction connection from SLEX to NLEX. If they stay over the current ROW, it could work, but, especially near Buendia, it will be extremely tight.
Sumakay ako nito kanina ang bilis lang. ✌
Wala pa po ito boss...
Mr.president paramihin pa Ang railways
Go build it. Let's have it
it's the buses that kills the roads in manila..
galing.
kelan kaya ma-realize etong planong eto. We from Quezon province welcome this prop[osal. Sana matupad eto.
Carlito Enriquez ....yeah this is great idea ...but it take so long before it happen ....God Bless Philippines.....let's pray for it.....if it's Gods will....it will happen....
sana hinde hanggang sa pangarap na lang
Who will have the first bullet train in ASEAN? Jakarta or Manila? 👍👍 because Indonesia is also building this infrastructure in Java island (827.4 Km in total)
Manila to sorsogon din please...
Kunting this nalang
Will they use the old train track from way back when and when will this project start? will there be a station stop in Inosluban Lipa city CALABARZON?
Of course, that time is over. It's the only thing we can hope for. Let's move on.
I'm a proud Pilipino and I'm proud of my country of birth. God bless The Philippines, the citizens at home and abroad.
Good proposal! When is the start and completion of the project? Budget? Not in this lifetime!
Have faith. Let's do this Philippines!
BeaglesRFUN I'm Filipino, but I can't vouch for the Philippines in building a high speed railway. Better instead, improve on our current railway system through maintenance, rail upgrades, and rolling stock changes.
sana manila to baquio meron din bullet train
great !!
when ,project hsr will start constuction.

Need to implement BIM for construction for fastest construction installation.
Wow really
It will happen..with PRESIDENT Duterte's political WILL...👊👊👊
sana hinde hanggang pangarap lang
Has this been completed yet? Has this proposal been implemented?
no, of course
Still under Construction
2040 started, 20 years construction
Political will is the key.
I am all for High-Speed Rail in the Philippines. However.....3 intermediary stops on a 140km line is too many, if you plan to have trains running at a max speed of 350kph. Either scrap one or two stations, but that would make the line unprofitable and more difficult to sell to the public, or reduce the Top-Speed. It will not make a huge difference to the travel-time, but a huge difference to building cost. Building a railway for up to 350kph is way more expensive than for up to 200kph.
Ignoring Buendia for now, for the rest of the line the average distance between stations will be just a little over 40km. IMHO a top speed of 200kph on the Lipa-Lucena stretch would be more than adequate and would keep building costs down massively. A lot of the distance between them would be used to accelerate and decelerate, and only reaching 350kph for a very short time.
Between the outskirts of MM and Lipa I agree with you on a Top-Speed of 150kph, maybe 160kph. That sounds very reasonable.
Another advantage of reducing the top speed to 200kph is that the rolling stock is more readily available at lower prices. By using tilting trains, you can reach higher speeds on lines that are not so straight. They can also increase the speed on the twisty Batangas Branch.
cms1104 Cheers. Now that you said it, I'm thinking of reducing the speed to 300 km/h unless there is an extension to Sorsogon
No, actually its quite feasible. 3 stops for a train built for 350 kph but with standard speed of 250.
Is this still a vision or is the vision already being developed on paper ? Please inform us. Thank you very much.
Fake
The nuclear power plant must be operational if the government will proceed with this project. This project is great but the manila line up to buendia line must be placed underground, to reduce the time of travel at the same time it will reduce the traffic above, and then breaching itself from the south luzon highway, the bicol line must have same as the batangas line, one is fast line and the other branch will be the entry to the northern camarines. no need to put these line on the ground because of accidents.

ng current pnr commuter line, maybe order new rolling stock from Japan
para mas maginhawang sumakay ng tren.

A station in Calamba City is wanting
GoGoGo Sir Duterte
If this actually happens the philippines will have a high speed train before the US makes their California high speed railway network the progress of their railway is second to a snail.
By then the Philippines are gonna be starting on a high speed rail by the time the us make the California rail💀
Mgnda yan pra mabilis lng...
How about bullet train 350 kph fron Mla to Tuguegarao City?
No imposible because nagawa na sa manila subway.
Bat sa ibang bansa mero
Its just a dream!
It will happen soon.
