@@tehj I'll be replying to your comment in the next weeks lmao. SEC is competitive, but it's dumb to say Oregon hasn't played anyone. I'm guessing you are a Texas fan. You guys were favored to win twice against Georgia, and lost twice. You lost against Washington twice in the post season the last two seasons also. If Texas is near the top of the SEC, then it's safe to say that the SEC isn't that dominate this year.
Quinn Ewers won’t win you a game due to red zone woes, but he’s a solid QB who just needs to take a sack when there are no running lanes or open receivers.
I dont know about this. That's alot of speculation. I'm a Duck. So, no skin in the game persay. But I think your statement is a way to much speculation not based on much.
I'm so happy when someone builds up EWERS... That'll make Texas weak enough for anyone to beat. Having watched all Oregon games, BOISE had the right QB. Their RB should have won the Heisman. Their QB might be better than any QB on your list.
Its a year of "who plays to their ceiling". Gabriel is a lock for the most consistent. But there are guys like Nico, who would dominate if they got it together for a game. Im going with Gabriel 1healthy Beck 2(for exp sake) Levit at 3 for consistency ewers at 4 and Howard at 5. But if any of the inconsistent guys Go off, ill take one of them any day. .
What did I miss in the description about who qualified for the list? Because I didn't see Cade on there. He's the one that led the country in TD:Int ratio. Also finished third in scoring and top 10 in QBR. How would that not fit in at least the top 5? Oh, and two ACC Championship game MVP awards.
On Will Howard......"can he get you where you need to be? I think situationally, he can." Oh, you mean like when he threw a pick inside of his own 10 yard line, giving away points that helped them lose? Lol pass me the cereal while you're reaching.
I get we only have the data available thus far to go on, but whoever can step up these next 3-4 games is really all that matters. Past performances don't matter much at this point. Go Ducks! 🦆
Where is Klubnik??? I thought he was top 3 for sure but he isn’t even on the list? Not even a Clemson fan but he’s basically the only reason they made the playoffs. Normally I agree with you but this is a horrible take.
Ewers, first time seeing him in a full game, Georgia last week, his throwing motion is too slow, guy's open and the ball was late quite a few times. in fact it cost the game.
Not having Rourke in the top 5 is criminal. The most efficient QB in the country highest rating. Lol That’s crazy, I get the OSU argument but that was a line argument and a noise / communication in blocking issue not a QB trust issue. Rourke may be the most reliable and stable QB in the entire field not named Gabriel .
Ya agree he makes way to many mistakes but by saying that he also threw for over 300 yards against Georgia in the SEC title game. But it's definitely time for Arch to step in.
Who you "trust" the most does not necessarily mean who has the highest ceiling. Nico Iamaleava is in his first year as a starter. This is not a shot at him, but historically the young QBs have been the ones more likely to crack under pressure. I think it makes sense that he's not in the top 5.
I’d go Arch > Quinn i don’t get the holdup. With Sheduer and Ward out the offs, Gabriel the only one i trust😂😂😂 Allan & Leaoned mistake free. Klubnik, Jennings and Howard have high ceilings

Psu prob has the worst WR out of all the teams on this list, if he was in a team like OSU or Oregon he wouldn’t be throwing as many interceptions because he’d have way more options

I think folks are sleeping on Nico. He leads easily the most balanced offense left playing. In the past, teams that were as balanced as the Vols are now won championships!!
I got Klubnik over Howard. QE outplayed both UGA QBs in the SEC title game. Coaching, penalties and WRs coming up short is what lost that game. Not QE.
Y'all really lean into that brand bias. Will Howard has three games under a 150 QB rating. Kurtis Rourke has 2. Rourke has 4 games over 200 and Howard has 3.
Dillon Gabriel is made for this CFP.
DG has played flawless against the 3 CFP teams they’ve played, there’s not a single QB more prepared for this playoffs than Dillon Gabriel
I mean, no one plays flawless. But yeah DG's cool as Hawaiian Ice in big games.
Ohio state and penn state are trash teams. They’re about to get rolled by the SEC. Oregon has played no one.

It maybe a unpopular opinion, but if Arch was QB during overtime, Texas would have had a better chance to be SEC Champions.
