I don't have the expansion. I played once o 2021 on Steam-TTS, but couldnt find it at an affordable price. Also as i said, i'm still strugling to convince my friends to play it so, it's hard to justify the investment 😅

I have this game with the expansion sitting on my shelf for a while...The reason for that is there wasn't any good video on YT for how to play,and second is I can't imagine someone who is willing to learn this amount of rules because my close friends are at the best casual gamers😢.This game needs someone who is ready to dive into it...But I will try to find someone😊😊😊
Well, I hope we can check ✔️ the first part :) For the second part- yes. This game is particular and requires a certain amount of concentration with the rules. What I would advice is just to really explain phase by phase and prepare everyone that the first game is a learning game so the victory is not important. Combat is the most tricky part so that's another thing :/ If you find true fans of the IP, getting into the game will be easier.. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with 😊

Glad you enjoyed it! I checked the rules and I can't find a resteiction so I would say that you can use as many as you want (up to 2 normal and the golden one). I guess you would like to first of all upgrade a building or add one and then produce units..? I think you can do it with two different build orders. But since this game can be tricky, I'll check in the BGG community.

@@ezbgames Yeah starcraft rocks. I only played around 5 games or so with a friend. Now it seems very hard to still get a copy. I didnt play forbidden stars but BGG is recommending that for SC fans it seems. Now I play Eclipse as best substitute. What Eclipse is similar in is its emphasis on economy and upgrades. Of course that putting action markers in SC i havent seen replicated anywhere else which makes SC so fun and unique :)

It took me quite some time to get my hands on this game.. and even then I had a few pieces missing 🤦♂️ But it's a pretty sweet game, especially if you like the video game (I simply LOVE it).

42:35, so generally it's not very effective to attack two regular units with one unit and one assist because you have to retreat anyway right?

I think you can do it with two different build orders.
But since this game can be tricky, I'll check in the BGG community.
So I just verified and there is no limit as I wrote before. Put as many Build Orders as you'd like :)

I wish they would make a newer version of Star Craft. Would love to pick it up. but not for 300$
They tried with Forbidden Stars, but it's not quite the same..
