I have a 2012 Hyundai i30 1.4. The car when parked and revs over 2k no problem. While driving uphill or fast takeoff, the car misfires. If on flat road, the car misfires and loses power when I go over the 2nd gear. I have have oil and spark plugs changed but same problem.
Great in depth video Dave , so many people have no idea how things work , just fit a new one , I did an Astra 1.6 coil pack today , tried to explain to the customer , 70+ year old , (long time friend ) , who got me involved with cars when he had his own garage repair business , and later a newsagents ,that I did about 5 paper rounds for , so known him over 45 years , that these were a throw away item , he said why do they do that if only one cylinder down , no rubbers split , no visible green fungus on the tops of the plugs , he said I bet you could fix that , I said just chuck it in the bin , car started now on 4 cylinders smoothly, no labour charge parts only , 10 minute job 🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️

Yep, im old , ive renewed many condensers.......Whats that Oscilloscope like Dave with regards to setting up etc??
It's dead easy Trevor. Good scope for live captures as shown, takes up to 300volts. However, recording and zooming, the pico is king
