For me some nice tips for beginners from an average player 1.) You can free those prisoner rebels from the jail by shooting the lock open even with silencer pistol, you dont need to always walk to that door to open it by pressing E 2.) At night battles you can shoot those lamps out so you dont get detected to easily 3.) For those alarm horn masts, there is always an electric power box in each alarm horn pole. Shoot that electric box on the pole to disable the helicopter alarm 4.) Use heavy sniper 0.5cal to shoot down electric power station (transformers) in the bases to disable electricity. 5.) For breaching doors like rebel diversion or the Caveira mission door breaching, or for destroying explosive targets you can place any type of mine or proximity mine and shoot that mine with a sniper when youve run out of C4 for otherwise remote detonating 6.) You can blow up santa blanca mortar pits if you sniper shoot the mortar ammo boxes in the mortar pit or grenade into it

They can be a huge pain in the ass to take on at lower levels. I found this out the hard way the first time I played the game, I tried to take out a random patrol buggy that was near my position and before I knew it, it escalated to the point I had Cobras firing rockets at me. Needless to say that did not end well.
I am really glad you are still making content for this game. This game just has a certain charm to it that keeps bringing me back to it Love your vids mate Keep up the great work ❤
Barely started playing about 2 months ago. Was having a hard time and a little depressed with some personal problems im dealing with rn. My youngest brother who is not that young anymore (25) lol mention it to me how back in t he days he would clear his mind and forget about everything when he jump in to wild lands. So here you have me putting my ps4 back and downloading the game and playing wild lands with him every other day. Such an underrated game. ❤️
On Christmas, december 2021, my brother took me to a game store to choose 2 I want. I chose Assassins Creed Odeyssey first, and before I chose the second one the guy who works there pulled out wildlands and told me that it was a great game. He was a very wholesome guy so I ended up buying it, and I'm so glad i did. Such an underrated game
I just randomly bought this game, never even heard of it. I asked the guy working at the local gaming store and he highly recommend it. Wow, how surprised was I, this game is incredible!
I thinks it’s important to upgrade the rebels as soon as possible so when your playing in extreme or ghost mode youll have some backup and mortars to call in
It would be nice if the game actually allowed you to do anything other than failure for playing basically it forces me on to missions when I’m trying to collect documents or skill points so my progress keeps getting reset Just because I collect a document or supplies which I need to do to complete the mission that I keep failing, even though it’s starting the mission When I am in the middle of a uniraid battle how can you start a mission on me and fail it an hour later after I’ve been battling the cops you really honestly think I’m gonna start a mission across the map and then get caught by uni immediately this is ridiculous and they need to fix the broken game that I bought with my hard earned money specially considering the hours of waste of time and frustration just because they can’t fix their lazy programming
I played this for all of 10 mins when it came out died alot in those 10mins and un installed it, but now its on gamepass and i actually know what style of game it is and i cant just go run and gun into every camp i play it all the time pretty fun tbh.
Wildlands may have deviated alot from what the franchise is known for but in my opinion it is the most fun ghost recon game to play with the most interesting story.
Wildlands had a lot of uncertainty in the beginning however most of the comments are spot on. This game is insanely fun. I don’t know if they can top this unless they pretty much make a game identical to this just a different location different scenario and not breakpoint. Great content DD 👍🏼
I went back to this game recently and am finding it very hard. Unidad is like 5 stars in GTA, and once they get on you it feels like things are hopeless
You just have to fire and move can’t stay in one place and make to always suppress fire them (not meaning use a suppressor) i mean just fire at them until they take cover and then you push to one side and keep fire and moving and you’ll be able to get away
Yeah, Unidad is pretty relentless. It's all about being well-positioned and using the right equipment. You gotta be on point with flash, nades, and fast-firing subs and shotties. They'll probably take you down in a prolonged engagement, but if you play your cards right you'll stack bodies before they finally get ya. Or have a good team and you may not have to die..
I just grabbed this game after hearing so much about this and absolutely love Wildlands, amazing open world tactical game and I've played Counterstrike Beta from 1999, Battlefield series, Cod etc and this is by far one of my fav games and i've only just begun!! Thanks for the tips :)
So you’re totally cool with failing missions that you know nothing about and you’re just driving how about when you’re in the middle of another mission and you failed another mission because you got alerted even though you never even started a mission in the first place you ever collect documents and realize mission failed because I was never in a mission I was driving around collecting documents for three hours. Mission failed why what how who??? if I can’t simply collect skill points without the game, forcing me to fail how am I supposed to continue?
It’s been how many years now and I’m still going back to this game. I love how you can change different parts of your weapon and noticed a slight difference on everything I love the customization aspect in the freedom to do whatever you want to do. And every time I go back to wildlands I need to go to Darkdally for my refresher lol
88 hour on break point never finished a actual mission apart from kill walker mostly just cooped with the terminator for fun and done the drones all over now getting back into wild lands
Although Breakpoint had some cool features like hiding in the grass, and better vehicles, I’ll never forget Wildlands. I’ve beat the campaign about 9 times and I still miss the miss grind behind it. Forever my favorite game
@@Nick-ui9dr I think he means when you can dig yourself into the ground on breakpoint. The only time you really need to use it is when the plne flies overhead and can spot you unless your dug into the ground. Sometimes I would do it when I was using the drone for recon of a base just to make sure I wasn't spotted
If you have the BFG 50A from the Fallen Ghosts DLC, it's the best rifle for sniping imo, the TARS101 has 9x magnification on the BFG. And with max vehicle destruction it does HTI damage.
I usually play the AC (Assassin's Creed) games but Breakpoint looked so tempting. I have played two of the prior GR games. But as you mentioned in this video, many of us were so disappointed with Breakpoint. For me, the upgrades made the game LESS playable, not more. So I decided to give Wildlands a go. Many of you have said how awesome the game is. I've only put in 4 hours but I am loving it already. Much smoother than Breakpoint. Thanks for this video. I will check out the rest of your videos later.
Tried both a couple of days ago, breakpoint has better gameplay and the immersive mode is great. But Wildlands is better overall, its story and setting is more interesting and going mission to mission is more fun
on sale in steam and just picked up your videos sir are amazing just discovered and watched to help determine if need dlc and what and now watching you guides new subscriber here thanks for all this content
My personal tip for capturing enemies: For those with the tendency to runaway, use the EMP drone, it will disable everything, cars and choppers. For those that shoot back at you, just flash bang the fucker.
I use EMP drones to take out convoys. My personal record taking out a fully escorted convoy without so much as scratching the truck with the goods is four seconds.
@@mottony I shoot the EMP Drone, Syncshot the drivers and take out the escorts with a M203. Don't trust the HTC(Even the beefed up, TIER40 one) anymore because sometimes it cripples the Humvee but it doesn't blow up.
I had to stop playing this game a few months ago because I was burnt out I was playing it everyday and recently felt like playing it again and then I forgot that I never played the DLC lol so now I have something new to play 😁
Something I learned is that if you are going for a medic chopper side mission, use sync shot on the Lt. and there will also be another guard with a pilot helmet or headset on who can also fly the chopper away. If they both die first then the chopper won't fly away on you.
Just started wildlands and will go to breakpoint when done, breakpoint has had alot done to it so going back won't be bad as I have dabbled in it a bit before trying this out literally just started well see how this goes
unidad is a love hate relationship for me, i love the way they do their work and everything about them from vehicles to the voice of the comms guy but fighting them just irks my nerves
Super late reply so sorry mate but You just have to fire and move can’t stay in one place and make sure to always lay down suppressive fire (not meaning use a suppressor) i mean just fire at them until they take cover and then you push to one side and keep fire and moving and you’ll be able to get away
I once stood my ground in one of their small bases which I cleared via drone explosions, sync shots etc. and did the GTA thing where I kept reloading my UGL with grenades and downed about 30-40-50? Apaches.... it really helped me hone my grenade launcher aim to the point where I need just one shot to destroy a helicopter in 95% of the situations I find myself in. there were so many chopper wreckages on the floor, they couldn't fit to reach me and the due to the wreckages they would spawn further and further away from me ducking behind cover.
I am definitely still enjoying that game. It's perfect despite graphics on today's devices such as PS4 Pro, PS5 and better PC. I love that game. It's better than GR: Breakpoint
Thanks. Yeah many have been playing it for awhile, but also many are just picking it up and I thought for any player it might not be a bad video. I plan to do others like this for multiplayer, setting up weapons, and other stuff.

As for a guy playing Wildlands for some time, I wish I had seen this vid on the beginning. It's so many useful tips, most of them I had to figure out for myself
i have around 200 hours in ghost recon and already discovered those tips, but i think this is best video what new people can watch and learn from :) Have a good day!
I Love Wildlands, even in 2024 ITS still amazing. The Gun play and Grafik is totally fine for the Game. Me personal Love the German Set Up with G36 C and G28/MP7 .
I actually went with the extra sync shots first, and then nabbed the parachute. Having those really helped with stealth and maintaining control of the op. I then went with drone, and got the emp. This really helped me with taking down generators, and stopping vehicles I didnt want to destroy. Of course being able to recon, and devise a plan on the fly.
I just got this on the weekend as it was recommended by a friend and I’m completely hooked. Great video and thanks for the tips, you have a new sub!😉👌😎
I just bought this game two weeks ago after waiting for years for it to come down enough in price. Luckily I got the Gold Edition. I love this game. Once you get familiar with it, it gets really interesting. I like the proximity mines more than the normal mines. Because you can throw them and place them pretty much anywhere.
Great video! About convoy farming, if I'm playing solo I personally like marking the driver and passenger of the truck for a sync shot and then GL both escorts and shoot the chopper (either with GL as well or a .50). Takes me around 3 seconds to clear a whole convoy that way, just make sure the escorts are not parked right next to the truck or you might blow it up as well. If I'm in co-op tho, we do something similar except instead of a sync shot we EMP the truck with the drone and then shoot the driver and passenger. The rest remains the same.
Yeah, I know that the ghillie does absolutely nothing but I do enjoy matching myself to the terrain as much as I possibly can just for the fun of it. If you ask me, they should make it so that when you get into the higher levels of difficulty, the ghillie does work because the higher level of difficulty you get into, the more realistic the game becomes as far as minimap ques and the damage output from your enemies. Just something that I would really love to have seen implemented into the game as the game does revolve around being stealth and trying to the missions quickly and quietly as the devs have said. Adding functional ghillie would just take the game to the next level with being an amazing tactical shooter.
@@matthewjones39 it would all depend on your play style and the setting of the mission and terrain. If it is completely urban, then there would be no reason to run a ghillie as there is nothing to blend in with.
Hey man, Great video and great Tips! I redownloaded this game recently after being away for a good bit and man it's so freaking good. I absolutely hate the fact that Breakpoint requires both Online and PS+. Like wtf was Ubisoft even smoking when deciding that. I can play Wildlands Offline and no PS+ makes it an easy 10/10 for me.
On your point of luring enemies. You can lure them even with a mortar strike, or C-4. There should be no way of them knowing where you are, but they always go to your position when the explosion happened. I usually plant C-4 on mortar or generators. and blow them up. then plant a land mine where i was and move to a new location. wait for them to trigger that mine, and plant another and move. they almost always go directly to where you are and it's hilarious.
Got this game on PC for $15.99 yesterday. Its a great looking game 5 years later, especially on a 3440x1440p monitor. Much better looking than when I played it on Xbox back in 2017.
Another that i missed (Not gameplay but thought would be good) if you go to your character customization, press c or z to switch between your bots and you can make them wear whatever you have. its good if you're trying to increase immersion or you just want your guys (or even gals) to look different or wear the same uniform
4 years late with my tip, but when using the grenade launcher - each of those lines on the cursor is a mark for 50 meters. The last line is at 250m, you can hit up to 400m with the grenade launcher. I wouldn’t try to hit anything beyond that range with the launcher.
Thank you for this video!! I just bought this game and it's sick but I'm running all over the place and have no clue what I should do first. This really helped!

Lol, what the fuck
I just randomly bought this game, never even heard of it. I asked the guy working at the local gaming store and he highly recommend it. Wow, how surprised was I, this game is incredible!
I thinks it’s important to upgrade the rebels as soon as possible so when your playing in extreme or ghost mode youll have some backup and mortars to call in
That's great advice. 👍
They should make a Red Dawn version set in Washington State.
U can hide in grass or vegetation in wildland too I guess.
@@Nick-ui9druse your head mate
@@zh2266 Yep! But that's what am trying find all these yrs. 😀.
I got this game on Father’s Day, start playing this past weekend, and I love this game so far.
Great video, im hooked on this game. Im very late to the show. I know.
If you have the BFG 50A from the Fallen Ghosts DLC, it's the best rifle for sniping imo, the TARS101 has 9x magnification on the BFG. And with max vehicle destruction it does HTI damage.
And 7 years later...something is bring back the players once again :D
I usually play the AC (Assassin's Creed) games but Breakpoint looked so tempting. I have played two of the prior GR games. But as you mentioned in this video, many of us were so disappointed with Breakpoint. For me, the upgrades made the game LESS playable, not more. So I decided to give Wildlands a go. Many of you have said how awesome the game is. I've only put in 4 hours but I am loving it already. Much smoother than Breakpoint. Thanks for this video. I will check out the rest of your videos later.
I've just picked the game up 2 days ago and I'm absolutely loving it, if the film Sicario was a game it would be like this.
Picking up this game tonight in 2021. Thanks so much for this video I would be lost without it.
I used multiple things I learned from this video to steal a helicopter in order to get the grenade launcher, thanks for the tips!
I wish breakpoint had a team...that would make it fun for me
i agree, that's one of the main reasons why i hated it
They adding them soon
now it does, I went back to breakpoint and finished it, it's a good game but not better than Wildlands.
It does have a team now
Tried both a couple of days ago, breakpoint has better gameplay and the immersive mode is great. But Wildlands is better overall, its story and setting is more interesting and going mission to mission is more fun
on sale in steam and just picked up your videos sir are amazing just discovered and watched to help determine if need dlc and what and now watching you guides new subscriber here thanks for all this content
Yeah man, thanks for watching! I have a lot of Ghost Recon content I've made over the years for sure! I hope it's helpful.
My personal tip for capturing enemies: For those with the tendency to runaway, use the EMP drone, it will disable everything, cars and choppers. For those that shoot back at you, just flash bang the fucker.
The flash bang! I’d never thought of that to use on firing enemies. Super underrated tip right there.
So glad this game got popular again. $9.99 ps4 store for another week or so. Amazing timing.
Literally my favourite co-op game.
In ghost mode, bullet resistance, ammo capacity and the medic drone are probably the top 3 for the skill tree
I use EMP drones to take out convoys. My personal record taking out a fully escorted convoy without so much as scratching the truck with the goods is four seconds.
Gear para dummies wow, that’s amazing!
@@cameronmitchell1800 That's just practice.
Gear para dummies what do u play on? I would love to play with u! It’s one if u say no tho :)
I just HTC the escorts with one sync shot for the truck drivers, shortest is about 6 seconds
@@mottony I shoot the EMP Drone, Syncshot the drivers and take out the escorts with a M203. Don't trust the HTC(Even the beefed up, TIER40 one) anymore because sometimes it cripples the Humvee but it doesn't blow up.
Wildlands will never die!!
It will
Yeah right
Legends never die
@2 Ds nah bro
@@Aschaffenburgyaa Yes, i sudenly got back playing
Can confirm. Tips tried and true! Luring them to where I ain't? Brilliant!! 17 thumbs up!!
I had to stop playing this game a few months ago because I was burnt out I was playing it everyday and recently felt like playing it again and then I forgot that I never played the DLC lol so now I have something new to play 😁
Just finished the game and downloaded the DLC , absolutely flawlesssss
A big thanks to the uploader. Totally professional advice, free from bs commentary. Keep up your good work.
I’ve only just started playing wildlands for the first time god I’ve been missing out. It’s such a good game
I just picked up this title. GREAT so far. The storyline is cool and the game play is fun.
Just started playing this and I must say it's probably the most slept on game out there.
People call it a GTA clone, and I'm like GTA has no rebels or stealth. Just cause GTA is the most popular open world doesn't mean they own the genre.
I usually use the drone and clear the base by sync shotting from outside in; making sure the kills aren't witnessed. It's like peeling an onion 😊
I fell in love with the drone once I found out how to effectively use it.
Something I learned is that if you are going for a medic chopper side mission, use sync shot on the Lt. and there will also be another guard with a pilot helmet or headset on who can also fly the chopper away. If they both die first then the chopper won't fly away on you.
Just got the game (loving it) and this video appears to be just what the doctor ordered.
Glad you liked it. I have a lot of Ghost Recon Wildlands content that many people find helpful. thanks!
I'm playing this baby again on extreme difficulty. 5th time I'm replaying it. Such an underrated gem.
Been played for years now but it was still a nice video!
Thanks. Yeah many have been playing it for awhile, but also many are just picking it up and I thought for any player it might not be a bad video. I plan to do others like this for multiplayer, setting up weapons, and other stuff.
Just ordered wildlands. Its on its way
With all the gameplay tip videos yours is more interesting and educative.
Thanks man
Anticipating its delivery!!
This game is way better than I expected. I love all the different creative options you have to destroy gringos with extreme prejudice
Bruh 2023 I just watch this useful video, love the convoy tip, will use it everytime.
Just got into this game. Fantastic.
Re-downloading this game right now to trek around in a ghillie suit cheers bro
Have you gotten El Yeti's ghillie suit yet?
I still play it after 3 years. Never get tired of this game. But it's hard to find people with mics.
I've taken a couple of breaks from it, but somehow it's still fun every time :)

I just got it! Got it for $20 on the epic game store and break point was $23! I heard so many bad things about break point decided to go with wildlands! I never played it and wanted to get into it! Hope it lives up to the hype.
In MY Zone play wildlands without any HUD. That’s when it gets real good.
Well I just ordered wild lands. I have breakpoint it's ok it's my first time playing it. But it was on sale for 19.79 so I just bought it. I'm going to try wild lands and see if I can enjoy it more.
Wildlands is perfect. Open world, 3rd oerson/1st person game, u dnt need friends at all, but it's just as fun with a buddy
As for a guy playing Wildlands for some time, I wish I had seen this vid on the beginning.
It's so many useful tips, most of them I had to figure out for myself
I acquired every assault rifle in the game, and now I only run the 416. Fantastic weapon in almost every circumstance at almost any range
P416 surely?

Same let me know if ya wanna team
I Love Wildlands, even in 2024 ITS still amazing.
The Gun play and Grafik is totally fine for the Game.
Me personal Love the German Set Up with G36 C and G28/MP7 .
Wildlands is a masterpiece and is 100% better than Brokepoint and is the best GR game ever made.We will never see another like this.
I just got it a couple weeks ago and have to admit...It's a good game.
Thanks for the tips I’ve reached lvl 23 from lvl 9 now within a day. I’ve only started fairly recently too.
I will never uninstall this game from my PC. Love it!
I just got the game 2 weeks ago and this video I've found very helpful and dope character BTW reminds me of Fuze from R6 Siege
The problem is that there wouldn’t be any reason to switch out of a ghillie suit.
@@matthewjones39 it would all depend on your play style and the setting of the mission and terrain. If it is completely urban, then there would be no reason to run a ghillie as there is nothing to blend in with.
@@brandonbennett7865 Good point.
@@matthewjones39 they could just make it so it requires you to be in a certain type of terrain in order to be functional
@@brandonbennett7865 exactly, or maybe have a less amount of stamina due to the big ghillie suit. So people don’t always have it on.
Ghost recon widlands is so so better than breakpoint
Yep
Just recently downloaded this on PlayStation plus and forgot just how fun it is, I’m gonna be grinding it for sure
Great video, very informative even as someone on my fifth play through of Wildlands. Learned a lot!

What we used to do about convoy was use emp drone to stop every one and use HTI / desert HTI for one shotting vehicles
Never stop making these videos Darkdally.
Another that i missed (Not gameplay but thought would be good)
if you go to your character customization, press c or z to switch between your bots and you can make them wear whatever you have.
its good if you're trying to increase immersion or you just want your guys (or even gals) to look different or wear the same uniform
I've got my guys set up in uniform.
I just picked this game up and I had so much fun that I played until 5:00am
4 years late with my tip, but when using the grenade launcher - each of those lines on the cursor is a mark for 50 meters. The last line is at 250m, you can hit up to 400m with the grenade launcher. I wouldn’t try to hit anything beyond that range with the launcher.
as long as the enemy has a soft or no roof above them sync shot’ll work. and by soft i mean camo nets like the ones on gun towers/emplacements
Thank you for this video!! I just bought this game and it's sick but I'm running all over the place and have no clue what I should do first. This really helped!
Lmao
Wildlands is great! Steer wildly away from Breakpoint.
Redownloaded this and having a blast just like the first time i beat it…definitely a game worth having
