I remember - as a Master System owner back when the Amiga was at its 'peak' (circa 1990-91) - that there was nothing I'd seen on it that made me want one. Licenced shovelware like US Gold stuff and even highly rated games like those from Bitmap Brothers.. it was all so mediocre. Developers obviously working on a shoestring and stupid tight deadlines getting their low quality wares promoted by low quality journalists..it was grim.
The amiga always had this reputation as a more grown up system but like you say with very few exceptions us master system owners didn't miss out on much, thanks for watching man
Really enjoyed this, brought back a lot of Amiga memories. Even though they certainly weren't the best ports, especially when compared to the MD version, but bitd I absolutely loved them. 👍
Absolutely criminal you didn't mention the intro music in Ghouls n Ghosts on the Amiga Grey it's a masterpiece! I know you did mention the atmospheric in game music but I used to load it just to hear that intro music! Great vid I think US GOLD need to be punished for there crimes against good games.
I was actually listening to it and some of the c64 music when i saw you're comment, i always thought ocean were the dodgy ones but us gold gave them a run for their money
Eeeek some terrible conversions there for sure, i think the box is the best thing in that bundle!

I think i would have loved these as a kid but they have not aged very well at all, thanks for watching man

@@Consoletronix I can think of some good ocean games off the top of my head but USGOLD not so easy 😂👍
US Gold ...oh dear... Lol ✌️
The rose tinted glasses worn during the Amigas heydays must have been a very strong prescription lol
