I have applied for the post doctoral position in Max Planck institute and i have cleared first round of interview online. Now they are asking for an in-person interview in the second round. So i have never heared of this kind of recruitment process.. So should I consider this opportunity.. Kindly reply.. It would be of great help

Looks like a good opportunity. They should pay for the travel costs of the in person interview. When you are called for an interview on campus they typically pay for the costs. It is certainly a good opportunity and to have made it this far in the process will mean that the likelihood of success is quite high.
