Joanne I worked in a dentist office for 19 years. Pro tip! If you keep having an issue with the tooth bleeding put a teabag with black tea in the extraction site and keep it there for a while and that will cause it to clot! What a great vlog, we could see the frustration on your face. I think it's so good that you show the reality of being disabled, such a great point that your meds make your mouth dry and because of this it has effected your teeth, and how your tooth extraction was far worse than a normal extraction due to you needing stitches. When people see a disabled person I don't think they understand what that person has had to do to just to get out of the door. They don't see the constant pain they maybe suffering from, the side effects of meds which you need to take, or how your life is frustrating and limited, and this could be an invisible disability. You have my greatest sympathy. I had one back tooth removed got a dry socket and had to have it packed then the tooth next to it complained and had to have that one removed too then I got a huge blister on the inside of my lip. Sore or what but I’m on the mend now thankfully
My second son used to say the same as you , everything time I took them for a check up as sure night followed day he needed a filling and he never missed cleaning them the older one rarely cleaned his and never had a problem , needing medication can affect our teeth 😞

Oh Jo, I'm similar age to you and taken care of my teeth all my life. Then every practice went private and I cannot afford the fees. I'm in Wakefield and have just spent an hour on phone to emergency dentist because I'm in agony with a back tooth. The result was the computer says no, no appointments in Wakefield, dewsbury or Leeds. I'm crying in agony and nobody wants to listen. X
I fractured the root of a tooth a couple of weeks ago. Has to be removed surgically, 24 weeks to see consultant (not the actual surgery). Even with Private it's 1st April! So can't chew properly and relying on paracetamol to manage the pain. On the plus side, I am hoping it will have healed before the appointment lol. Fingers crossed. Hope you heal ok Jo xx

Go to A&E they have on call dentists.

I understand about meds making your mouth dry and teeth same problem but we cant get a dentist anywhere
