Kochi City Trip - Fort Kochi, Taj Malabar (Willingdon Island) & Kuzhuppilly Beach - Travel Vlog (#2)

Starting our trip from the Ernakulam Jetty we covered Fort Kochi, Willingdon Island (Taj Malabar) and Vypin Island. The ferries in Kochi are a nice and inexpensive way to explore the city.
The Indian Coffee House located just opposite the Ernakulam Jetty is a nice place to taste the local flavors and to recharge yourself before the exploration begins.
Within Fort Kochi we visited St Francis Church, India Naval Maritime Museum, Dutch Cemetery, Jewish Cemetery, Jew Town, Paradesi Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), Fort Kochi Beach and the Chinese Fishing Nets.
For lunch we went to the Taj Malabar which is based on Willingdon Island, and again we used the next available ferry for that. The lawns of the hotel facing the Arabian Sea are a peaceful retreat.
After this we proceeded to Vypin Island which is full of long beaches and causeways with backwaters on either side. Here we visited Kuzhuppilly Beach and Ambedkar Beach before heading back to our hotel via the night ferry, enjoying the cool sea breeze.
