I have stayed in taj Malabar Willingdon Island for vacations in Kochi, and I also love kerala meals and tasty dishes like avial, Rasam, sambar, erissery, pickle, kalan, parippu curry a lot. 😊
As kids we loved Indian Coffee House cutlets, dosai, idli and decoction coffee. I hope someone will revive it as it must be hard to compete with all the latest places. The little private rooms with swing doors should not die a natural death.
There's such a range of cuisine in Kerala and you just did Dosas, Wadas, and Appams which are available everywhere! Even if you want to stick to Vegetarian Cuisine, there are Kerala specialties like Puttu with Kadala, Idiappam, Parottas with various vegetarian accompaniments, and the Sadhya you could have covered! Apart from the traditional, there is a lot of Fusion Cuisine!
Shweta ji, Your vlog showcasing Kochi city is truly captivating! The way you highlight the cultural richness and scenic beauty is commendable. It feels like I’m exploring the city myself through your lens. Great job!
You have to visit Azhimala beach near Kovalam, where can find big shiva statue at sea shore.Kovalam, Poovar, Azhimala are beautiful places to visit and close by.
Being a vegetarian in Kerala can be a struggle especially when you step out to eat. When you tell people that you are vegetarian, they look at you as if you are a freak😂. I lived in Kerala for ten years and I found it hard to find good vegetarian restaurants
@@SugarSpiceNiceIndia Please explore more vegetarian places in Palakkad, Thrissur, Trivandrum. And Kozhikode is where I found it hardest to find vegetarian food
Hello madam ....actually most of the non veg restaurants in kerala have their vegetarian varieties also and don't know the timeperiod of ur stay in cochin but cochin has a fair share of vegetarian hotels right now......
The Saravanan Bhavan is NOT the same Chennai chain, they don’t have a branch in Kerala, this one near High court is a namesake but food is good, especially their meals which is more of a hybrid between Tamil and Kerala meals ..
Thanks dear for always sharing amazing information with us. My daughter is working in kochi Marriott hotel I shared this with her. This is definitely going to help her a lot. Lots of love and blessings for you dear
Nice video of my hometown.. But you could have used Kochi metro to reach Lulu. You can literally walk into the mall from the metro station without even getting out. Please do check it out if you are visiting Lulu mall again.
Kochi the most vibrant city of kerala is situated in port mouth of Cochin Harbour where Rivers Periyar and Vembanad meet Arabiansea,so that the city is called Queen of Arabiansea.City is surrounded by thiteen emarald picturesq islandsin in scenic Cochinbackwaters....Modern history of Kochi start with landing of ships by Europeans colonial powers, first is Potugese,Dutch,French, finally British....after that is history of India we know......❤
This vlog brings all the fantastic memorise that I have of Kerala. Kochi is an amazing city and I will definitely visit it in near future and your this vlog will help me a lot to decide where should I head to. I enjoyed this vlog a lot. 💖💖💖💖

Actually, Gokul Ottupura is a good restaurant. I usually do not order South Indian there, but rather their chaat and any paneer sabji accompanied by porotta. Horlicks is also good there.
Great vdo ! So this is the second time you are in Kochi after a gap of few years. Would love to know about your experience this time compared to the last. What went bad and what went good compared to last time
Like all your videos shwetaji u really lucky to enjoy all the delicacy and experience staycation it's just your family love and blessings . Hope u go much for ❤❤
" I'm just buying a few things that I obviously don't need"! This just cracked me up 😂😂😂 Nice vlog... 😊 When you said the most favourite thing to do in a hotel, my mind went immediately to a spa massage followed by a soak in the bathtub and then you showed food! Of course, I guess that sure is the most favourite thing to do anywhere, let alone a hotel ❤ There certainly is joy in going to a buffet early and seeing the food nice and hot and well presented before anyone else gets the chance to mess with the presentation and spill stuff everywhere 😅 If you do get the opportunity, do visit a Kathakali show the next time you are in town. You could also catch the artists putting on their makeup before the show. The Kerala Kathakali centre has shows regularly.
Kochi was always expensive and the spices sell at an exorbitant rate. This is one of the rare places, one gets green pepper and other root spices. Smelling out of the container is a definite no no.Seems people haven't learnt hygiene even after the pandemic.
I am planning to go cochin very soon. Can anyone tell me a hotel/hotels near lulu mall. I want very clean and affordable hotel to stay. Pls let me know.
The video, you, place, everything is nice except for the editing. Its horrible. The moment I focus on one shot, it changes immediately. I had to pause the video at every shot and then see it.

I live in Kochi. And at home, we watch all your videos at lunch time. Amazing content. Also big shout out to all vegetarians out there. 👍
Thanks a ton
I'm travelling there in February. If I want to buy spices, should I just go to some place like Lu Lu?

In Kerala you should have ordered puttu and chana curry or appams. Kerala is not known for dosa
Some people still prefer dosa and idlies wherever they go
Dosa and Idly are among staple breakfast foods in Kerala!
@@SFTube1but its not authentic Kerala dish, instead its puttu and appam
gorgeous super se upar fantastic sensational amazing blogger queen no1 ❤️❤️🔥

Very true... Asking for eggless cake is like asking for the baker's kidney. You will be refuted.
Go for pure veg hotels good ambience and yummy food ❤
