    Great video Esteban Loco! I strongly encourage singing in all your videos! Thanks for the reminder that tv antennas are still useful in today's TikTok world!

    that's a fantastic antenna. I ran one for a while in my attic. space was kinda cramped and I was struggling to figure out how to pull in all the 4 majors in my area, so I ended up selling it. Now that I have figured everything out, I wish I still had it, although I'm confident the smaller Ellipse would work very well. Televes is a Spanish company, and a very good one. Cheers!!

    The Antenna Man recommended this for my area and it works perfect.

    Reflectors are installed backwards. Small VHF reflectors to the back, Large UHF reflectors to the front.

    I installed one of these Televes antennas in a hilly region and had to point it thru trees. It’s working great. I did need to minimize the length of coaxial cable and connectors between the antenna and amplifier, but it worked great even with the hills and trees. I would rather not have the trees in the way, but it’s working so I’ll take it.

    At 4:43 you can see that you have the drain holes for the speader bar pointed up instead of down.

    Na jakich częstotliwościach odbierasz kanały z nadajnika ? ps. Zamień reflektory miejscami , szerszy musi być z tyłu anteny

    Sorry about the late response. No you don't get any more channels than you would any other antenna. You might get channels with it that other antennas wouldn't pick up.

    I know this is a late comment, but just saw your vid. Just FYI, the little box you showed that goes in the house is the power supply for the amplifier. The 5G filter and amplifier are built inside the antenna housing where the driven elements are located, and are directly attached to the amplifier, which automatically adjusts its gain depending on the signal strength you are getting. Hope its working well. I have the same antenna mounted on a 65' tower, and it works great.

    Had exact same old antenna (10’ x 7’) replaced with much smaller Televes Ellipse (~ 3’ x 3’). Receiving a few more channels but (so far) no pixelation on any channel even in bad weather… heavy rain, wet white-out snow (caked antenna), and moderate wind (20-25 mph). No high wind as yet to report (not complaining tho) 😀

    Is it stronger to drill into the brick, or the cement in between? Also, do you use an insert?

    You used a 7/16 inch end wrench on the hardware. That means that the fasteners are 1/4-20 (not 1/2 inch).
    Did you consider running the coax down the inside if the pole rather than using standoffs ?

    Can't believe you lined the antenna with the house instead of with your signal source for esthetics. 😂

    Can this be put in the attic?

    • @srpchannel0169
      @srpchannel0169  10 місяців тому +2

      Yes, it can definitely be put in an attic, but you would need to have a strong signal for it to work as well.
