I have one since 2018. Great antenna and build quality.

I used this video to assemble my antenna. The instructions that came with the antenna were of little help. The only difference is that the hardware was lettered differently from the printed instructions, so I had to make that translation. This video was very easy to follow. Thanks!

I agree, they left a lot to be desired. A lot. Took me about 2 hours to put together. Some things had me wondering like in step one the square screws need to press into the metal. Seems like it should have been square to begin with

I bought & assembled the new Trifecta DatBoss LR UHF/Upprer & Lower VHF.
Easy assembly, quality build & lightweight for its size.
Best is when positioned correctly, is fantastic pulling in 2 Towers located 68.7 miles & a 3rd tower at 82 miles.
Local towers are not over-amped & are crystal clear.
I also have an Ellipse Mix last years model which is used in an almost 140* separate direction feeding the patio & living room TV sets.
The DatBoss LR feeds only a single TV which is the wife's bedroom TV & without a doubt the most important.
She went from receiving 43 channels with the Ellipse Mix to 61 Channels with the DatBoss LR Mix Trifecta plus as a bonus zero cell phone interference which was bad on 1 particular set of channels for a tower 68.7 miles distant.
Best I can say is this antenna is far & away superior to the rest. I also have a figure 8 type & gave away the dual x box type to my mother in law which are supposedly the top antennas from competitors.

Great video! Wish this video existed when I was assembling my antenna. Had to stumble through it with the help of only unofficial videos elsewhere. Any videos for the 148383 or 148381 antennas with the Low VHF additional elements?

As for the mast connectors on the support braces, make sure they are as far to the rear of the antenna as possible, while remaining horizontal. The antenna mast will have a lot of weight on the rear side, and this will help to balance it a little.

This was well worth the extra money compared to one we had earlier for half the price. Mounted it in our attic and the nearest broadcast tower is 57 miles away with a row of evergreen trees in between. Not only do I get all the channels this is pointing at but get channels in the other directions that are 64 miles away. With this and Roku sticks we are able to save about $75 a month from our cable bill even after paying for a bunch of streaming services and our internet.

As for the feedline cable, I used a small cable length to attach it to the antenna. Once assembled, it is very difficult to reach in and access the cable connector! Once the full antenna was assembled, I then used a barrel connector to join the small cable length with my full feedline length.

Step #13 - "Install Dipole Assembly" - ua-cam.com/video/7jvhZBRu2Xc/v-deo.html - If you connect the cable to the dipole assembly before sliding it into place it's a lot easier.

How do I know what the best model for my area would be? I'm 60 mile from the Broadcasting stations in the Dallas TX Market.

So, this is for US market only? Max 608 MHz is too low for Finland which need to be till 690 MHz.

Unfortunately, this antenna is specifically designed to be used in USA, so it is not distributed in other markets such as Finland.
However, there are other alternatives such as the Ellipse MIx antenna that covers VHF band (174-230MHz) and UHF band (470-690MHz).
If you have any concerns, please contact to info.scandinavia@televes.com

As for the plastic spacers for the three UHF beams, be sure to orient the spacer so the square hole on the end is at the bottom, not the top. The square hole is for water drainage, I think.

You need a different variation of this antenna, that comes with another element for Low VHF. Get a Televes 148383 or, if you can not find it, a Televes 148381.
