No problem in Europe,I believe every European country had National Identity cards which can be used in all kinds of circumstances including voting. It can only be obtained on showing a birth certificat. The Uk,Ireland and Denmark are exceptions. It also allows us to travel to all the countries of the EU without a passport.
Here in Puerto Rico we have a Voter ID. We have various Voter ID offices in all municipalities. There we present Passports Birth certificates and get a pictured ID. This ID is only used for voter participation.

No problem in Europe,I believe every European country had National Identity cards which can be used in all kinds of circumstances including voting. It can only be obtained on showing a birth certificat. The Uk,Ireland and Denmark are exceptions. It also allows us to travel to all the countries of the EU without a passport.

Here in Puerto Rico we have a Voter ID. We have various Voter ID offices in all municipalities. There we present Passports Birth certificates and get a pictured ID. This ID is only used for voter participation.

I moved to Tennessee in 1982. i have had to show identification every time I've voted since that time and I never questioned it. People who don't drive can get an ID card from the Driver's license Bureau. I do not like Trump and have never voted for him - haven't liked him from the first time I ever became aware of him because he's a bully and so arrogant. However, i do not understand the resistance to having to show ID when voting.
