i just thought it was the singing bc its named in the same format as all the other monster singing files
also that its not in the sfx folder
and they showed the waking up sound in the trailer so idk

Since there's also parts for it in the island midi file (track 1 is at the very beginning and track 2 is in the rare wubbox part) it's safe to assume this is singing

This is definitely the sound of him waking up. It wasn’t in the sfx folder because it’s probably part of a cutscene.

also the sounds are named the same way as the other monsters

Or maybe when you wake them up they remember. This singing sounds very ancient. It would make sense that the colossals sound like this.

i have this feeling that when that sound plays in the full song, he will start to wake up, and on the last part, wake up fully and do some explosion thingy (idk how to explain it but its like earth islands core when it chomps down that halo around it) but much bigger and green. its pretty unlikely for it to be added tho lol

why would this be the waking up sound, why would there be 2 waking up sounds, what youre saying isnt making sense, digging through the game files only points at it being the actual singing sound
@@Ivurri double layered, randomized, one for the trailer and one for the game. There are many reasons.
@@GOOSEBUMPS_FOR_DUMMIES in the xml files that tell the game what audio files to play for monsters, it uses those two audio files as tracks.
I just awakened the colossal and when I first heard it I got slightly afraid cse I didn’t know what that whirring sound was, it actually place before the monsters start singing

colossaleye_activate
colossaleye_deactivate
None of these sounds are the ones in the video so those are the colossals tracks
I believe that the colossal will play through the whole song

This sound might fit other islands but plant islands music doesn’t fit with that sound because the sound is too low and creepy sounding whereas plant island is pretty high pitched and upbeat and happy sounding
But plant island is in a minor key
@@tophgif just because it’s in a minor key doesn’t mean it’s a deep grumbling sound and what I think I meant was that plant island is overall high pitched whereas something like magical sanctum this sound would fit great because it just has that deeper overall sound
