I wondered how this would translate from the CD to Live. I love the band live. IMO Side Pony on the CD is aimed at mass market and is "well mixed". So glad to view this video. Thanks for upload!
I have to say, I find I am listening to the soundcloud stream of the album...constantly. The new album mix is really like a frisky pony testing limits. I love them live. Now Live is going to be like listening to an LSD cover of an LSD song. And the band knows how to do a cover!!!!
Tickets for that show sold out in a split second lol. I had considered going into town just to watch through the window from the sidewalk, but though better of it... they're touring actively enough to catch another show sometime.
I love this band, I really do... but it makes me sad every single time that the song wafts back to a back beat in the middle and that guitar player just drops the ball... every. time. And, he's a good player. I just don't get it. Maybe someone should slip a bunch of early Tower Of Power into his iPod when he's not looking. Give that boy some funkypox.
