I'm a music fan but love that there is hardly ever any music in your videos. The links you go to capturing the natural sounds make me feel like I'm right there with you.
You're doing things most of us will only dream about doing. The places you've been, the sights you've seen and experienced. It's truly remarkable. I know it's not always as rosey as it seems to us, but thanks for taking the time and work it takes to take us along with you, so to speak.
I have agree! The last two months it’s be defaulting me to 720, and I have to force it to 1080. Even then, it never looked to me like true 1080 unless I downloaded and then watched. This time around it appears UA-cam is not restricting bandwidth.
Your tech videos are informative, but for somebody that will never do what you do, I really enjoy the adventure much better. You have a great sense on capturing good scenery.
You could probably explore Colorado for weeks and not see it all. Welcome to my home state! I am finally caught up with all your UA-cam videos, I’ve really enjoyed all your great content while stuck inside during COVID. Thanks Chris!
Gotta love the high elevation int he Rockies, where it routinely snows in June. Also, kudos to you on the Antero climb. You've been in Arizona for awhile so there is no doubt you don't have the red blood cell count for that mountain, but you pushed through and did it anyway, and that is impressive.
So glad to see you get to the mountains! Quite the hike - congrats! Your episode inspired me to get out today and try to forget what’s going on in this world for a while. You’re an important part of your viewers well being! Thank you! 🌲🌈☀️😄
Thank you for making to to the Rockies! Please spend the next 2 months there and record evey moment and share ! My wife and I live in Maryland and make our way out there every year. PLEASE hit the San Juan's! Silverstone, Ouray and Telluride and take the passes not the highway from town to town. We took our AWD van one night and camped above Animas Forks on Caloforna Gulch. A ranger told us we could camp up there. The spot was where a building stood but a avalanche swept it away. Its about 12,500 ft up and it was breath taking.....literally.! This video is making us want to back out there. Enjoy my friend!
What a wonderful adventure, you do the best camera work it is just unbelievable .I can see how hard you work at capturing it ,thank you so much for a wonderful video stay safe see you again
Chris I am so glad to see you back I was wondering where you were I hadn’t seen you in almost a couple weeks great video great traveling beautiful scenery some crazy stuff going on in our world you don’t know how much of a blessing it is to lay here and watch you drive into the mountains with all the beautiful scenery it’s seriously take my mind off All of the crazy stuff that’s going on be safe buddy
Congrats on your 14'er! Wow!! Lived in Durango for a bit... loved it and CO. Btw, can't believe you've never run into a rattlesnake, as far as we know, on your travels - knock on wood. Thanks for the video and keep up the adventures. Safe travels.
Amazing video... the views are spectacular! Glad to see you back on the road. My week isn’t the same when I don’t have a video of yours to watch... stay safe!
Chris, with all the craziness going on in this country this week, thank you for letting me escape with you on your adventure. Be careful out there and if you ever find yourself out on cape cod, you’re always have a place to crash and hang out with my family, your son is always welcome to come with you also. God speed and I look forward to your next video next Friday!
Thank you, Chris! Your stop in Jerome, AZ, brought back some great memories. My favorite motorcycle ride was from Litchfield Park through Prescott on Highway 89 all the way up to Flagstaff. I always stopped in Jerome for a cup of coffee and a dessert of some sort. Well done on your hiking accomplishment up Mt. Antero's peak, 14,629 feet. I've skied at 12,000 feet and it was hard to breathe at that altitude.
English old timer again, love Jerome been 4 times since 1994, always stop at the English Breakfast Cafe. Great service and food. LOVE the atmosphere in and around Jerome.
Hi Chris. You were in my back yard lol. I live an hour from St. Elmo. So glad you enjoyed it there. It is beautiful. Good to see you on the trail buddy. Safe travels.
Another outstanding episode and worth the wait... I typically enjoy spending 30 minutes with you on Saturday mornings while I have breakfast. Saw your new post tonight and couldn't wait until morning. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures!
Elevation sickness.... The last time I was at 14000 feet was when my son and I drove up Pike's Peak.... Had trouble walking across the parking lot to the gift shop whew! Safe travels Perry
Courthouse square in Prescot, where you were filming is the place the "Whop you on this side of your face" scene in the movie "Billy Jack" was shot. Very cool.
I just came across this video and subscribed. Thanks for sharing, the scenery is stunning and you live in a beautiful country. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your travels. Stay Safe. Regards from S Africa Clive
As always ... living vicariously through you Chris ❤️ another great video . thanks for taking us along . Wow . I can go back to sleep ( and my normal life ). Be safe
I saw your Jeep near Mt. Princeton hot springs after you came out of St. Elmo. I wanted to turn around and try to get to meet you, but had far too many cars behind me. Hope you enjoy it up there. Cheers from Colorado
Chris welcome to our backyard. We are just outside of Woodland Park. The highway you were on goes just past our home here in Florissant Co. we are familiar with Antero and Saint Elmo. Congratulations on climbing your first 14. Enjoy your stay.
Amazing scenery as always Chris. Looks like another week of having a great time! You have better knees than I do descending all that way back down without hiking poles! I always think the uphill is the hard bit but downhill is the painful bit!
Chris; another great video. The view from Mt. Antero in CO was spectacular and is a place that I will never visit so thanks for taking me along. David from the Gold Country of California.
Where have you been? Miss watching your videos. Ok, let me finish eating this grilled fish and then sit and get a drink to watch this on my big screen. I bet this will be a good episode.
You were in Grants on the same day I was out in the Zunis wheeling! If only I had known, could have shown you some beautiful sights, only taking a few hours out of your day. Oh well, be safe out there brother.
Good to see you back Chris! Was wondering where you were (No video in almost 2 wks)..hoping nothing happened to you. Always look forward to your videos, every wk! Stay safe & keep doing what your doing!!😊
Hubby took today off to garden and mow, with him home I kept thinking it was Saturday. Oh boy ,I was confused, kept wondering, where is Chris?is he ok?sorry Chris, glad you were ok.excellent video, stunning new horizons to explore.good to see you again, thanks
Enjoyed the video, and when in Prescott and Jerome, here are two places you'd do yourself a favor by stopping in.... Lone Spur Cafe in Prescott for breakfast and Haunted Hamburger in Jerome for lunch. I think you're finding out AZ is pretty awesome, and us locals welcome you back whenever you make your way back here again. So much to explore in this great State! Peace and safe travels! Pete - KI7LIL
That granite looks like the rock from the gem hunting show. Been neat if you had spotted some aquamarine blue while hiking up to the summit. Stunning vistas & epic walks for the following clips. Liked the family of atvs cruising by the cam & the recovery clip. Can see why the mountains & views will compel one to yearly pilgrimages. Safe journeys
Biggest advantage of your vlogs... Original sound of air, fountains, water. Wow. Feeling like I m there . Beautiful
I'm a music fan but love that there is hardly ever any music in your videos. The links you go to capturing the natural sounds make me feel like I'm right there with you.
I'm a music fan and was hoping he would have stopped in Maynard's Caduceus Cellars winery in Jerome.
I completely love the fact there's No music. One of the reason we stopped watching others... I like the natural sounds!
If I was a doctor, instead of prescribing two aspirins, I'd prescribed two episodes of venture4wd, what a pick me up video, wow Chris, wow.👍❤👍
Wow.... just WOW Chris! You nailed it this time.... awesome scenery, great photography! Thank you soooo much!
You're doing things most of us will only dream about doing. The places you've been, the sights you've seen and experienced. It's truly remarkable. I know it's not always as rosey as it seems to us, but thanks for taking the time and work it takes to take us along with you, so to speak.
I'm not watching my usual screen but the video quality seems to be upgraded. Epic camera work.
I have agree! The last two months it’s be defaulting me to 720, and I have to force it to 1080. Even then, it never looked to me like true 1080 unless I downloaded and then watched. This time around it appears UA-cam is not restricting bandwidth.
No yelling, screaming, loud pipes. No jumping, bashing, breaking of pieces. No massive lift kits and big tires. What a concept and a joy to watch.
Your tech videos are informative, but for somebody that will never do what you do, I really enjoy the adventure much better. You have a great sense on capturing good scenery.

I don't know about that. He seems to always be at least four or five thousand feet in elevation. That's not bad.
@TWINK THE TROLL I know very little about him, but that wouldn't surprise me.
TWINK THE TROLL he’s a retired software engineer
Chris as always your videoagraphy is beautiful and an inspiration.
So glad to see you get to the mountains! Quite the hike - congrats!

7:22 That Jeep box at Summit is the same type I restored when I got my Jeep lift kit. It is now an ice chest for parties.
Epic scenery. Really enjoyed it as about 90 degrees in KCMO today!
