Jayson Garrison yes dude! You need to listen to the whole discography lf death. They don’t have a single bad song or album it’s astonishing. Chuck was a genius! But if I can give a recommendation. I have three Jackson’s and LOVE all of them. I have two cheaper ones and one high end one. They make amazing guitars for cheap and even better for a little more. So I’m gonna suggest a Jackson.

Bought a JS22 for my son, I own a couple of MIA, MIM Jacksons and Charvels. The JS22 was surprisingly great! Now, the pickups are not bad at all for a beginner. But if you have some basic tool skills, the electronics are a simple to swap out.
I gutted this JS22, sanded the body down and stained and sealed it. Put some old SD pickups it, sounds and plays great. The neck alone is worth the price of the guitar, great neck. These JS series guitars are probably the best "bang for your buck" guitars on the market, assuming your not afraid to modify them.

I couldnt agree more. I cant think of a better quality guitar for this price. I recently stained mine and painted the hardware to give it a different look. Its lightweight, great quality and sounds good for being so cheap you really cant ask for anything else.

Mine just came today. I agree with pretty much everything he's saying. Was able to play it right out of the box. Good quality but just no bells and whistles. Feel is strange at first..no finish or smooth coating, just plain wood (which is fine..I actually like it). Pups have good sound into a hi-gain channel but have very plain cleans (kinda bland). After making sure it was ok, I immediately changed out the strings (stock strings seemed extremely light which feels strange to me). Overall it feels great and sounds great.

sold my xp700 a few years ago unfortunately and been thinking of picking up a JS32. Going by price alone I would have to assume the ibanez would be the superior guitar, but the warrior has always had me longing for one. Since I never had a jackson I think id like to give one a shot!

Headstock should be wood color to match the body and the inlays should be pearl or not shark inlays. Jackson is to dated, they need to change it up but on the upside they do have a good selection of body styles.

I got the Dinky with the flyod. Wish I would have got the one without it's the worst floating trem I've ever played and the tuners don't help. Even with the nut locked when you use the trem the guitar goes out of tune and the fine tuners are loose and jumpy and just all around not smooth. I changed the pickups which makes a huge difference but I've basically blocked my "flyod" which sucks because what's the point of even having it? Kina wish I would have went with an ibanez or something tbh but that's just my opinion.

Neck dive is referring to the balance of the guitar. If the neck is long, which on most Jackon guitars is the case, 25.5-inch scale, and 24 frets, it tends to pull the whole guitar down. Because of the offset body that some guitars have, the weight is not distributed equally, so neck "dives" and instead of pointing to the ceiling it is pointing to the floor. This makes playing difficult and uncomfortable. It is a very common problem with the Kelly. It doesn't have to do much with the quality of the wood, it is just poor planning and poor positioning of the strap screws.

HOHHRP no this model doesn’t have coil tapping however you could always replace the pickups and get it installed yourself

And they need a new headstock style aside from that other one they have.

Jackson actually has a variety of different headstocks depending on the guitar you get. As for Inlays and headstock color that all changes with the guitar. I have an extremely cheap model ($250). this compared to my Rhoads which is $750 is a crazy difference. As with any brand the guitars get better as the price goes up. For a $250 guitar this one looks and feels amazing for the price.
