I am a great fan of airport and flight videos. But most of the people who post that stuff here only show how great they are, how exclusively they fly, how "important" they feel. This is the reason why I like your videos very much, they are normal, they show the essentials, the most important things, they are not so stressing like others. Please keep on going like this
Oh my, thank you so much! So glad you like my videos. I am a normal person, I pay for all my travel, hotels, this is my real life, so I like to show the real thing. I've been flying for over 40 years, and I am still learning things, so I don't consider myself so important. Every day travel is becoming more and more complicated so I like to share what I know. Oh by the way, I have never flown in first class, hahahaha. Thanks for watching my channel! I really appreciate your comments! xxx
I like how you walked through the entire airport process. I'm not a nervous flyer and I get around airports okay, but if I was anxious about what I had to do, this is the sort of video I would look for. Being at foreign language airports makes me nervous but usually they're very well laid out, well signposted and the staff are friendly so I've never had any major issues.
Thanks for your comment. There are loads of nervous travelers out there. Most of my videos are based on helping these people out. Because we speak English, it is easier for us, since there are usually signs in English. I come across many people who don't speak English, in my Spanish channel, and it is really hard for them.
Hi, That's normal to get nervous during a trip even for frequent travellers. There are factors that contribute to it like huge airports, long lines at check in , drop off luggage, security, long walks etc. Bus transport to the plane is not convenient. You have to lift your 15lb bag on that steep airstairs. My Numero Uno airport is still the Tocumen Airport in Panama. It's a small airport. You just have to walk from one gate to the next in 1-2 mins. the lounge is located at the center so it's very convenient no more long escalators or lifts. No customs or security screening either. No travel for 2020. stay safe.
Ausgezeichnet! Translation: outstanding. I will be transiting next month through Frankfurt for the first time next month. Watching your video has been very helpful and is part of my pre-trip research. I happen to speak conversational German and am confident I will be able to find my way between concourses. Muchas gracias! Vielen danke. Thanks.
Thank you for the videos. I’m flying to Frankfurt on April 4th (I’ve never been overseas) and I’ve never flown alone before so my nerves are driving me crazy haha. I’m afraid I’ll be absolutely clueless haha.
I just saw that you also posted a visit on our little Christmas market in Mannheim, at the "Kapuzinerplanken". I hope you liked it. But next time when you are here, inform me about that. I will show you the city, I am living here in that region
I live near Mannheim!!! I know the city and am in the city quite often! Thanks for the offer though! I have several videos of Mannheim and nearby areas. Thanks again!
I really have liked your videos you r such a nice person ~~ , I love watching airport and theee stuff , But no one cares to upload this type of videos .. I'm lucky that i have found your channel , thank u♡ Love from Iraq 🙆
Ohhh, thanks so much for your nice comments. People are usually too busy or stressed when they are going through an airport 😂 I enjoy walking around in airports, strange creature, I know, hahhaha. Thanks for watching my videos! Love back to you and to Iraq!! xxx
So the first thing I have to do when I'm at the airport is to go to this big screen with all the flights? And after that to the terminal? I'm just a bit nervous because I'm gonna fly on my own on Friday :D And thank you very much for all your great videos. They help me tremendously! ♥
Hiii, so glad my videos are helping you! First, you have to be in the correct Terminal. Find out what terminal your airline flies from. For example, Lufthansa always flies from Terminal 1 in Frankfurt Airport. Usually your Terminal is on your ticket. Once you are at the right Terminal, go to the screens and look for your flight. Then, follow the signs to your gate. My most recent video might help. ua-cam.com/video/He_-BPgFl1o/v-deo.html Thanks for watching my videos!! xxx
That B03 gate terminal 1 thats stands for terminal 1 B?thats why you go to terminal 1 concourse B?sorry just dont know where did you get the Concourse B
Yes, it can be confusing. If you watch the very beginning of my Getting Around Frankfurt Airport video ua-cam.com/video/UOJjBwDapMg/v-deo.html you'll see that Terminal 1 has Concourses A, Z, B, and C. So when your flight leaves from Terminal 1, you have to check to see what part, or concourse, of Terminal 1 your flight is leaving from. So, yes, you were correct! Hope this helps!
Very good question. On my boarding pass I have B03, but sometimes the boarding gates CHANGE. That is why I always say look at the screens several times because the gates can change. It is very common for the gates to change!!! Notice what I wrote in the video at minute 0:47 on my boarding pass "Will change!!!!" by the gate. Later on, at minute 2:13 I show that the gate is B7. I should have stressed that the gate had changed. I have another video with a gate change, if you want to watch it. ua-cam.com/video/s3qEfn5fSOY/v-deo.html I hope this clears this up. Thanks for your questions!
I have a question about Frankfurt Airport T1 Concourse B: If I have a flight in the Schengen Area (i.e. flying to Nice). But is it also possible to enter the Non-Schengen area of Concourse B or even A and C without having to actually depart from there respectively having to show your boarding pass just to walk around Frankfurt Airport and go some shopping?
Ooooh, I have to think. If you are in the secure area (you've shown your boarding pass, have gone through security, etc) you can move around to other secure areas, like when you are in transit or getting a connecting flight. Buuutttt, thinking again, there is always a security check right before all Duty Free shopping areas, so they will ask you for your boarding pass. If you scan your boarding pass in the area you are NOT leaving from it will beep and won't let you pass. I've never tried doing this but I think this how it would be at Frankfurt Airport. If you try it, let me know!
Hi StrongPinoy, MuchoHop, if u are departing from schengen area ´´B´´ (to nice) you can´t go to a non-schengen. You can go to another schengen area like A without going through Passport or security control. Area ´´A´´ is all schengen and B 1 to 19 is also schengen. Brgds
Hi!! I am not sure if you would be able to help me out. I'm arriving in Frankfurt from a non-Schengen country (Canada), and connecting to a Schengen country (Austria).. How would I go about transferring? Is it blatantly obvious when to go to passport control? Thanks!
Yes, yes, yes, just follow the signs. They always lead you to where you have to go. Follow the signs that say Connecting Flights or Transfer, and go towards the correct Terminal for your second flight. Then follow the signs to your gate. If you ever have to go to passport control or security or whatever the signs will always take you there. The signs normally don't say To Passport Control or To Security, when you follow the signs to your Terminal/Gate, you will sort of bump into them. Remember, most people don't know the procedure and it can change from one flight to another, so don't worry about this. Remember, most people are not familiar with all the airports in the world, so airports are designed so that anybody can find where they have to go. If you have any doubts always ask either an airport employee or another passenger. People are usually nice. Happy travels!!
No passport control when you are traveling among Schengen countries, like Germany and France. You can drive from Germany to France, and then onto Italy or Spain and nobody stops you. There are no borders in many countries in Europe. Now with COVID, some European countries have closed their borders to curb the spread of the pandemic. Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much! I hear you often get shuttled from the plane to the terminal, is that true? Do you think a 2hr 45min layover is enough time?
What camera did you use?
Ilove your video thanks 😍
