For those that are new here... my name is Ellie and I'm a student at the University of Cambridge studying Part III Masters of the Mathematical Tripos (basically a fancy way of saying I'm studying a maths masters lol) and I am in Sidney Sussex College! I love maths, space and tech (I have a tech channel too!) and I'm so excited to share this new chapter with you all 💛

Ellie! You have no idea how much of an inspiration you are to me. You have been such a great help in me figuring out what I want to do in uni, and what I want after. I have been following you since your second year and I've commented on a few of your videos (I don't know if you remember me though lol). Your breakdown of what you did in undergraduate maths in your videos have really put some things in perspective to me. I especially love the first and second year videos too. I look forward to a breakdown video of what you did in third year, and now your masters courses look very interesting too!
There's rarely youtubers out there that study maths so thank you once again for all the information you provide. Also, I'm super excited cause I start my first year in Applied and Computational Mathematics in university in January! I'm really looking forward to it. I was hesitating a bit whether I should go for Maths with Computer Science instead, but thanks to your videos and my own personal research, I really believe this is my calling.
That said, I was sad to hear about how your seizures affect you, but I'm glad to hear that you have great friends and support system to help you through it. I genuinely hope you have a happy time for the rest of your stay at Cambridge!
Lastly, like I said, I'm really interested in what your current courses are and would love a video on that if possible. Are you by any chance doing Computational fluid dynamics though? What you can do for a white board. You can paint the wall white and then cover it with a clear adhesive foil that is usually used to cover and protect books. For a roll of 2,5 meters it's about €2,50, so it is a lot cheaper than a white board sticker and works just as well. Just make sure you have the shiney one and not the mat one.

As a math student. How do you juggle multiple classes?
I try to put plans in place to prioritise modules according to workload and making weekly plans massively helps me! I can make a video to discuss this in more detail if that would be useful?
