    The way they end it off is just brilliant. So chilling and dark, Morgoth himself would have loved it.

    I always cry with this song, Nírnaeth Arnoediad really is just that emotional when you read it in the Silmarillion. The end of true elven resistance to Morgoth.

    if blind guardian would have a little more publicity, they would be known all over the world!! that's what I like about them, they don't care about being famous, they only care about the music!!
    All hail the Bards. All hail their music.

    Who wants folk Metal or viking Metal when it existed much better examples even decades ago? Blind Guardian wins the match!

    Easily one of the best songs of this album. Along with Nightfall, Time Stands Still and The Curse Of Feanor. And most of the album as well ;)

    3:47 - 4:08 contains some of the best, most emotional pieces of music I have ever heard. Yeah, I know this sounds kind of gay, but to hell with that - this part is like all the rage, anger, grief, pain, sorrow and despair put into a small verse. There's a reason Blind Guardian are considered the best power metal band (or at least one of the finest bands in the genre).

      +MrDrunb What's come after it is even better. Best part of entire album - Melkor solo !

      It's a close second to Feanor's "I will share in your damned fate" IMO, but yeah, amazing piece of musical pomp.

    I dont know, but I, like a big fan of the bards prefer to they to remain so, a low profile, you feel better and more fortunate to see the jewels they produce :), after all we are fortunate to be able to value his great compositions

    It's funny, this song actually sounds a bit like a musical act (think Phantom of the Opera and the like). And not that's it a bad thing...

    @gifdetected they the golden exception, they like the only band to sell so many millions of albums with no publicity, also they big in america as they gave birth to prog metal and respect needs to be payed for that, same with black sabbath

    The latest two albums are decently crafted, but they pale in comparison to these earlier, more inspired albums.

    no se pero yo como gran fan de los bardos prefiero que se mantengan asi, con bajo perfil, uno se siente mejor y mas afortunado de apreciar las joyas que producen :), despues de todos somos los afortunados de saber valorar sus grandes composiciones

    Why are we even discussing Slipknot on this video? The only decent album was Vol 3. Blind Guardian doesn't even have a decent album... they're all GREAT!

    @420dimebag haha that is true. they have 3 drummers. 2 of them hit garbage cans and random metal cages and shit. jordison does get some respect from me. he is ok at drums

  • @thehighground_
    @thehighground_ 14 років тому

    @zeppelin88ab I saw him play with Satyricon, he was awful. Couldn't keep up and he got sent home like 2 shows after the one I saw. I mean he's ok but he'd have to be near the bottom of a list of best drummers.

    @zeppelin88ab That could actually be the nicest thing you could ever say about slipknot. They are without a doubt the biggest pile of shit band. Hey look at us we've got 9 people in our band...Some guys just run around hitting a trash can others do even less.
