Thank you Martin! That was very useful! And thank you for sharing your workflow during the Rokoko webinar! You are an amazing artist and an extremely talanted person! I am looking forward to watching your tv show one day ;)
I'm very interested in motion correction, at times when having some motions say like a walking motion per say, and if I want to loop it, and I either coppy paste the motion, or drag the motion again in the time line, or just use the loop, if the motion returns back to the origin, then it will not be a continuous motions as it goes back to the first place it started. So how can that be corrected? I watched some tutorials that show in the modify to do the modification for the axis I believe, or the root and it would make it a continuous motion, I forgot exactly what they say because it's been over 2 years that I tried that and it never worked. That's for Iclone 7. I tried Iclone 8, but I ended up with the same problem. I know I'm talking about walking and iclone 8 has many new features for that and more, but I used the walking example so you can picture what I'm saying but it's pretty much with any motions that return back to the origin they started at. I saw a guy talking about that kind of problem, he used iclone 8 and made it looked so simple, I had iclone 8 installed and followed his example and it did not work. Plus he explained things so quickly that he did not actually took the time to go slow and show where exactly and his video was not the best quality either to make up what he was selecting at all. So it was a dead end for me. I uninstalled Iclone 8, I kept Iclone 7.9 and I worked only with motions that could continue at the end of the motion as instead of going back to the origin. That made some RL packages obsolete for me, not many but some because some have that kind of problem. Anything you have to fix motions would be great, I mean in tutorials for dummies that explain step by step and slowly and pointing in the right place where to go, what to chose and how to fix, would be great. I hope you read this and I do hope you can reply, thanks in advance. Cheers.
The cloth simulation is out of this world. Just to note that to export it to blender, you need to check it on project settings (bake cloth simulation) or use the blender simulation tool from cc3 add-on (but come on). Also motion director, with all it's greatness, it crushes left right and center, I hope they ll fix it soon
Hi, I got confuse with iClone 8 and CC4 package when I go into the Reallusion site. There are a kot of bundles. May I know is the contents of this video including all of those bundle or it is a standalone iClone 8 software?
@@MartinKlekner Gotcha. I saw a comment you made about using auto eye not too long ago. So I was curious if you added or changed anything else. Have you ever thought about making tutorials more geared towards weaponry and using them in the animation process? I'm still new to modeling in blender and I'm trying to wrap my brain around how bows and arrows would work, haha.
Another great video Martin - thanks! Looking forward to more tutorials as always. Is the workflow from CC4/iClone8 to Blender still the same or have things changed now that iClone8 doesn't need the 3DXChange module? Also, where did you get the Space Age Cartoon Character in your video? Thanks!
Hi Grace, thank you! The workflow is much faster now, since you dont need 3DXChange but can just drag and drog assets and fbx animations from other sources directly into the iClone / CC viewport 🙂 Great improvement!
Well waiting for a Black friday and extra martín 15% off. I just started animation but for a 42 year old its not much time to learn in the tradicional way. Thanks your tutorial Will realy helpfull.
I am almost 42. I started learning 3D less than two years ago, and I'm holding down a full time job and have four kids. Why am I telling you this? Because you will be shocked at how far you can come in a short time if you use your time well. Sure, I have a long way to go, but that's art. It's never ending. But if 3D is something you really want, then don't let age hold you back. You only live once. iClone is great. But it's better not to have to be completely submissive to it. Use it as a tool in your tool back instead of your only access point. Start learning Blender. Even an hour a day. It's worth it. Don't shy away from learning new things and doing it "the hard way." In five years time, you'll be a maverick! EDIT: my full job time is not in 3D. I was saying that 3D can be learned in your spare time. Just stop watching Netflix!
I can't afford this yet. I could save up until Christmas. But My current project I rather finish without buying this. Since I am still using cc3 and iclone 7. I want to get my current project done before the end of this year.
@@rc-st9pg Yeah, I waited for their black Friday sale. Where you buy 2 products and get 50% off both of them. I got the big CC and iClone bundle, than added a cheap item for the 2nd. And on top of that, Martin had a 15% promo code I added. Saved me well over a grand.

Hi Martin! Can you make a tutorials about Character dynamic wrinkles in blender? Thanks!
Hi Martin! I am looking into using iclone and I'm wondering what computer works best for the software. What do you use? Thanks!
Have you changed or improved anything to your character creator pipeline since the release of your tutorials?
Not really, workflows are the same, I just started using some of the new tools I present here :)

Is it possible to set up your scene for 24 fps or only 60 like in the previous IC7?
Yes its possible :)

3dexzchange and graph editor are included in ic8

Why can't iclone be installed on Macbooks?
