Such a KILLER song. I LOVE it!! It's too fnkng bad their label dropped them because of the label's greed and it's inability to cope with the turning of the tide that allowed the consumers the freedom to download what WE wanted to hear, not some crap the record co.s forced down our throats for fast cash at HUGE expense to the consumer.
you don't hear many songs like this nowadays...it is so 90s music, how I miss an era where billboards weren't flooded with nonsensical hip hop (which is great to party to but you cannot listen to it outside of a club)
Yeah I agree with you completely. There are so many bands who deserve stadiums but remain obscure or even broken up because of their lack of mainstream success. Yet, rap dominates the airwaves... I don't get it.
I don't know if you're implying all hip-hop is nonsensical, or whether you're just referring to the facet of hip-hop that is nonsensical; if it's the former, I suggest you broaden your horizons, because some hip-hop is truly extraordinary (just like this song). Peace!
Hey all, recently I found a video made by two girls for this song. I thought it was great, but i can't find it anymore. Does anybody knows if it's still here somewhere and where? Thanks
I guess the birth of a child thing does make sense. It's like closing time for immaturity in a way. A new beginning for a mature adult life. The new beginning is where it counts.
I hate computers sometimes. If we didn't have computers that could make any looser (Gaga, Akon, lil Wayne) sound good, we could enjoy more bands like this.
And this is the reason why I take good care of my Semisonic CD 'Feeling Strangely Fine'. What a wonderful band and a wonderful song.
This has to be one of my favorite songs of the 90s. Another one where I ran out immediately and bought the CD.
ahh classic 90's... helps me remember the good old days.
Excellent live performance of a beautiful song.
I'm feeling happy when I listen to this song and watch this video !!

@4:00 just goes to show you, this is good music because this is the stuff anyone can enjoy. lol I wish we had more songs like this now, but sadly no.
4:00 that's how i'm gonna look like with my wife when we're old, traveling around the world for every major music festival.
Time flies, then 17 years old, standing somewhere in the public. I think in the front on the left side 🤔😀
i believe Green Day performed a live cover version of this song, which was originally written and performed by semisonic
think they played this at the end of all their concerts? God i miss the 90's...
this band sounds pretty close to their album version which is what i like :]
Yeah I agree with you completely. There are so many bands who deserve stadiums but remain obscure or even broken up because of their lack of mainstream success. Yet, rap dominates the airwaves... I don't get it.

im just wondering Green Day has the same song who made the song first? and why are there two of them?
Sorry for my stupidness and slowness LOL

i prefer it like that actually, keeps its bohemian roots
I was wondering that..
Wow... this is somehow better live.
I guess the birth of a child thing does make sense. It's like closing time for immaturity in a way. A new beginning for a mature adult life. The new beginning is where it counts.
what kinda guitar is Dan using?
@guitarfreak159 you'd think it would be at 4:20
wasn't that david bowie's song?
Yeah its an Angus Young signature SG.
I hate computers sometimes. If we didn't have computers that could make any looser (Gaga, Akon, lil Wayne) sound good, we could enjoy more bands like this.
