That’s so sad! This poor woman trying to do her best at surviving this economy , and she ends up getting scammed instead 😢 I just hope authorities are doing their best at catching these cruel criminals. Also, the government should have a campaign educating the public on how not to get scammed. As the newscaster mentioned, I set up my phone not to ring or not to notify me of calls and texts from unknown callers. However, when you have a business it’s a little harder because you can’t ignore any potential clients. I assume you could have an automatic response asking for their name, phone number, and their address then do your own research about its legitimacy before calling them back. Be safe out there 🙏🏼

Dang girl, don't you know the difference between a scam and a fraud? No me either. I can't see any difference.

I think fraud is without your permission, and a scam is with your permission, ie, you participate in the activity. You may think it's real and you participated. Fraud is something that happens without your knowledge, consent or participation.

She fell for buying a license for a cleaning business? Where/who did she buy it from? Where does AI come in?

They are said the person asked the AI something like "what is the best way to scam someone using an insurance company" and the AI says to sell them a fake insurance policy and request a down payment.

That’s such a cruel comment. You’re criticizing the victim instead of the criminal 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ Do better
