One of the Best GT3 reviews that I´ve seen so far .. Im from Mexico and Im driving the exactly same GT3 as shown in the video and its true .. leaves you speechless... Congratulations Sam...

Best GT3 review! Better than Chris Harris'. Difference is CH usually pushes the cars harder and does take it to the track (though, CH might have been a professional race car driver). More animated. But this guy does good real world driving which is important. Always brings up a lot of good points not mentioned by other journalists...mostly. His UA-cam reviews are definitely worth watching/listening to.

He knows his stuff!! And I'm happy to see Driving Vancouver didn't not hire him because he's Chinese. Showing people Chinese people do know cars and CAN DRIVE. Helping squash that nasty racist stereotype.
Have you reviewed the 2015 or 2016 Jag F-Type R? If not I hope you do soon. Love to hear your view and impressions. Or wait for the replacement...the rumoured 600 HP SVR. How about the new Ferrari 488 GTB, Ferrari Speciale...
Just visited your website. Thought you were working for some new show based about of Vancouver. Surprised no one's hired you yet. Top Gear should see this...though, I'm not sure if TG is still on the air. I think they recently stopped filming? Hope I'm wrong. Motoring 2016 (based out of Toronto) should see your videos. Professionally shot and cars reviewed. Puts most "professional" journalists/reviews to shame.

This guy is good but not better than Chris Harris. They are different and talk to different persons. This guy is much more "mental and rational". Chris Harris is purely "emotional".

The 981 and 991 have really moved the game on and it's now at a level where I have no complaints in layout, style or quality of the materials or fit and finish. I've just picked up my GT4. Well, it's been a few years and since the early engine replacements this engine has been going strong. For a while these 991.1s were a good value used!

so a 2015 gt3 or brand new gt4? for mostly canyon carving and daily use with rare track/autox?
I would do GT4 if you cared about having one in a manual. Otherwise I would go GT3. The GT3 is better.

+thaik56 I think this is much more of a purist driving experience compared to the R8. The R8 is the looker, this one is the race car. The newest R8 could be a different story though! I think I would prefer the GT3 compared to the outgoing R8.

+betaswan That's a great question. I think the 997 Turbo is more sophisticated/polished feeling while the GT3 is more of a raw unfiltered feel. I think you really have to drive both to make a decision. It's down to preference. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

How was the ride? Is it daily drivable to you?
+Sameer Rao The ride is definitely firm but I would not hesitate to daily drive it. It's not harsh, just very firm. And you'll have to put up with a bit more road noise from the cup2s.

Anytime! Only down side is that most of those are at least a half day drive. But they are worth the trouble.

I think it's important to drive safely and respect the posted limit no matter where we are... and if you want to truly open up the S4, you already know where I would suggest. The track!! :)
