Yes I like it. A case could be made that the darker scenes might fit the game more in some areas. But overall with raytracing you got the correct lighting everywhere and everything properly reflects in glass and puddles and shit with every branch of every tree and so on. Its damn good and we need it in every game no doubt about it!
A very good implementation of RT. My 4090 shines with this title. Performance can get a little a shoddy in certain areas of the game. Heavy FPS drops with or without RT. Optimization is desperately needed. With that being said, I am loving this remake. True to the original
No RT literally gave me chill whenever one of those leg thingy running and hiding, proper terrifying horror game, with RT it reduced it into survival action game, same with Until Dawn which is darker in the original perfectly captured the mood while the remake with UE5 is too bright.

@@msnehamukherjee My man you aren't averaging 70-90 FPS with your mid 4070. Let's not get carried away. Even in this subgenre there are better looking games, like Alan Wake 2, which does a lot more complex things visually. Even RE4 Remake looks better than this (and is soooo much better optimized).
@Glotttis I mean, I was not going to put a particular limit on best-looking games. Those 2 games definitely look just as, if not more, amazing than this game. There are many great looking games this gen, just as there are many mediocre looking ones.
RT to compute static lighting for indoor scenes is just non sense and show a huge lack of optimization... RT should bring hyper-realism to lighting, but we must admit restaurant scenes with RT don't look more photo-realistic, they are just more balanced, which can be simply done with rasterization and standard shadow mapping.
Are leaf trails a UE5 bug/issue or its fixable via DLSSTweaks cause I know some bugs are caused by DLSS like flickering when Bloom is turned on with DLSS (need to change preset to fix it) and such.
