If you have all the DLC (the "next-gen" and Steam versions of Royal include all the DLC), the fusion route works out so that Black Frost (learns Repel Fire) + Scathach = Sandalphon (learns Repel Curse) + P5 Vanilla DLC Persona Kaguya = Girimekala with the potential to Repel everything. If you fuse [a Priestess Persona between 53 and 76] with Hope Diamond, you can get a Scathach with Retaliating Body, which boosts repelled damage. Pass it onto Sandalphon and then to Girimekala for maximum results. Have fun!
Yeah, Golden is a ton of fun. It’s not as streamlined as Royal since it’s a lot older, but it has its own unique charm. Reload is also amazing, probably my favourite in the series, but the levels aren’t nearly as interesting as Royal’s palaces.
@HellFlameGod they don't have save rooms, because they're more like Mementos. You can use Goho-M to return to the bottom in Golden, and use one-way teleporters in Reload- both games let you return to the floor you left from

yours is close to perfect for this but not quite Rangda is where your perfection is since it repels phys and gun naturally you can use your 8 skill slots to repel everything else. without your accessory slot being locked. this allows you to have regenerate 3 (buyable at takemi) in that slot to heal the occasional almighty hit tho i gotta ask. does magic ability increase repel damage? if so thats interesting tech i wasnt aware of (tho even then rangda is better cause it also nulls curse by default)

@@HellFlameGod yes fr. rangda arahabaki and shiki ouji, and later fafnir too, are 4 personas with enough native nulls that you can easily null the rest and have a slot or two, often used for support like charge / concentrate, debilitate, thermoplaye with trait etc.
Don't the Attendents check your stats to prevent stuff like that? It's a fairly classic Superboss thing Atlus does Elaboration: Some Superbosses check your affinities and skills, if you have skills that null/drain/repel they'll attempt to curb stomp you with Almighty spam or a guaranteed instakill. You gotta play by the boss' rules, though resist skills are street legal fortunately

First of all he's not stat maxed, second of all what is Magic ability there for what magic are you going to increase? Your imagination? And how are you going to do damage against any enemy who nulls physical and gun, and you can't even use this guy to kill the Reaper because the reaper will just use Almighty attacks or just use element break, to be honest just go with a Persona that naturally has resist all and put on something like Divine pillar and you'll basically take no damage and you still have eight slots to fill with whatever you want hell you can just add regeneration 3, and then all their damage will amount to nothing even on merciless.
Magic Ability also affects the reflect damage thereby boosting it. I do agree with you it's not perfect but for a decent amount of battles it works quite well.

Yeah, Golden is a ton of fun. It’s not as streamlined as Royal since it’s a lot older, but it has its own unique charm. Reload is also amazing, probably my favourite in the series, but the levels aren’t nearly as interesting as Royal’s palaces.

Actually, Rangda is not close to being the best. Fafnir takes that category, requiring the least skills to becomes “invincible”.
