What a genuinely likable guy. He came off as a such a humble person who doesn’t take for granted his own success. And I think he was a great actor as well. Some of his scenes in True Lies are comedy gold.
Bill Paxton was always thought of as a secondary actor to play with the lead character, but he was brilliant enough to play the lead role in a film and be a big draw. For example when he was the lead role with Helen Hunt in Twister, he carried that movie and made it great. He was a really great actor and I for one will miss his wonderful acting and seeing him in new films.
That's what I've been saying all along. That in twister he finally got the chance to show that he could be a leading man. And no other film do I feel that he got that chance
He was one of the most fun guys to watch on the big screen and he was the only actor to be in Aliens, Terminator and Predator series. He was not afraid to try different roles and poke fun at himself. Clearly enjoyed what he was doing and it showed in his work. He really left his mark this movie, for such a short role it is very memorable!
Bill Paxton was such a great wonderful man. He had so much knowledge and spoke out of wisdom. His way of thinking I love. Such a beautiful heart, mind and soul this man really had ❤. I love his true colors 💞.
I miss him so much. And I do agree that he was very much underrated. This is how I felt about the passion for a long time. I truly believe in the film twister he was finally given the chance to be a serious dramatic leading man in that role. That is why that is my favorite film because it really shows the depth of his acting ability. I just feel like and no other film and with no other director he was given that chance. I really do feel that God took him too soon. He really was a gift and a great human
I'm sure Arnold was that way with him. If that was me I would most definitely be the same towards him. I am from Bulgaria, Europe 🌍 so I know exactly what he means by foreign people being affectionate. Their very loyal, and down to earth just like me:-)
Having watching interviews of other actors where they mumble and stumble all the time, talking nonsense, this guys know who everyone is and some background of the story of Apollo 13. Pretty awesome.

re-visiting that chet haircut for apollo 13. love it!
Bill Paxton seems like he was the most down to earth actor ever.
Oscars and trophies are usually given to actors for dramatic and serious roles but man... Bill as Simon in True Lies deserves a goddamn prize!
Arnold Schwarzenegger said that Bill Paxton was one of his best friends. 😢
Rest in peace bill
