  • This video is intended to show running operations on the layout, and hopefully make it interesting through editing. You will be the judge of whether I succeeded or not, and constructive comments and input are highly appreciated, as always!
The running operations for this video are (numbers in parenthesis are the individual operating numbers of the locomotives and wagons):
    1. Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) BR 56 (488) steam locomotive start up.
    2. BR 56 turns 180 on the turntable.
    3. BR 56 goes to switchyard to pick up two small containerwagons - BTr 10 (870 076) with Schwartzkopf containers and BT 10 (870 162) with Von Haus Zu Haus containers.
    4. BR 56 must then go to the brewery to pick up a refrigeratorwagon Tehs 50 (308 071) full of beer cases.
    5. The brewery's rented DB V 60 (414) picks up the Tehs 50 and pulls it up to the BR 56, then goes back to its resting track.
    6. BR 56 leaves the brewery and heads for the cargo terminal area, making its delivery of the three cargo wagons.
    That's it!
I hope you enjoyed and feel like offering some inspirational input for further videos :-)
Best regards and wishes that everyone stays safe!

Glad you enjoyed it, too :) It’s three sets: One of three units and two of two units.

Kiss or KM1 model I noticed Marklin cancelled those new Gauge 1 electric locomotives. very nice model!

KM1, which I also refer to as "Zirkus Krug" because the owner ensures they have extremely poor customer service. Also, a lot of their models used to be full of technical faults in the experience of myself and the club I used to be a member of. So, it is definitely not a recommendation. Further, Märklin's models have better smoke technology and detailing now, in my opinion, which is what used to set them apart.
As far as I know, Kiss did not make a BR 56 in gauge 1.
Too bad if Märklin cancelled their new line of electrics, it would have been fun with more modern loks to choose from ;-)
