David I did like the round bags they were cute. I do like the bag I seen that mark on it. But it’s very elegant. It’s giving me dooney and bourke vibes. The price is pretty good.
I may have to pick up a round bag soon... I am obsessed with them!
Yeah. Their return policy is a bummer. It’s always a risk with PLG. But, I do love their stuff.
I think I’ll stick to SLG’s for now on. I’m less picky about their condition, as opposed to a bag.
Customer service is horrible at Portland leather. Rae, who answered my email 4 days later actually was very sarcastic and I was going to return the PREMIUM bag I bought, like you, but I had to pay all these extra shipping fees, so I decided to keep it, even though it came with a big scratch right in the front of the bag 😢
Waiting for the boots I ordered, the day after. It’s been 10 days and I still don’t have my boots.

Sorry to hear that! I've had several people reach out with similar customer service horror stories from PLG. I decided, after this video and having to pay them to return a defective product, that I will not be buying anymore!

I love that color. I would send it back being it's a "perfect" bag. They shouldn't label them that way - no bab is perfect, but those discoloration marks would bother me.

In my very short experience but like 15+ bags in lol my premium bags come worse than AP. I’m not buying premium anymore!!!! Customer service is sending me new bags but said I didn’t need to return the defective bags. Never heard of anyone mentioning that before. I feel like their CS dept depends on who ya get?!

I like the bag but I agree, if it was almost perfect, the marks would be expected. Premium should be perfect. The easiest way for them to resolve this would be to credit you the difference between the two. Then if you still wanted to return, they could ask you pay the shipping but at least they would have made the effort to make you happier with your purchase. If it was in premium condition and you had just changed your mind, I could deal with the return shipping upcharge. Not a good customer service story on their part. Sorry this happened to you❤️

Hi David! PLG should refund 100% of your money, including shipping, because it's 100% their fault that they sent you a damaged bag. They also should send you a free prepaid return label. May I recommend that you call PLG customer service, ask to speak to a supervisor, and let them know that you unboxed the bag, damage and all, on your channel. You have solid evidence that you can share with their team. Please keep us posted.
That’s a great idea actually, I might give them a call and see if they can make any exception since the return is due to manufacturing errors. Thank you!

As for the business card, have you considered the LV business card holder ? I got one after seeing Gene’s video. It’s a great SLG!

Hi David! 🥰. That’s a shame that you got a bad bag. I agree that the options regarding a return are awful. You shouldn’t have to lose anything. I love the honey color though and this is such a cute bag.
I totally agree! It’s a lovely color and I loved the color variation but the use makes just were too distracting. I think I’m going to only stick to SLGs from PLG from now on.
PLG sent me the wrong color mini envelope wallet.
When I informed them of the mistake I was told I had to take pics of the box it came in showing all of the product info and a pic of the product itself.
I did that and they acknowledged the mistake.
What came next floored me.
I was told that I could send the wallet back at my expense and they would give me store credit for another item.
Wth?????
I wrote back and asked her of she was serious. It was PLG mistake but I had to not only pay to send it back, but I had to use the refund to buy another item and pay for shipping.
She wrote back and said that she could waive the return fee...which wasn't even mentioned the first time, meaning I wouldn't even get a full refund for the item.
I wrote back telling her I was going to go on every social media platform I could find and post the emails and the company would never get any more of my business.
Only then did she write back telling me I would get a full refund credited back to me and could keep the item.
Yes their customer service sucks.
I am so sorry you had that horrible of an experience! It definitely is not great service and doesn’t make us want to buy more and more!

I'm sorry your premium bag has flaws. The strange thing about PLG is, from what I've seen in life & online, the 'Almost Perfect' bags are safe while the premium, not so much. I have 3 'Almost Perfect' bags & there's nothing wrong with them. Good luck! 🕯️🌻

They should be ashamed for what they are doing to you (and others).They need to be reminded unhappy customers have negative consequences on future sales. I know since I found this out I have put them on my naughty list and will not purchase from them.

Hello. Very pretty color. Awe, sorry it’s damaged but NO way! You should get every dime including shipping if they sent you a damaged bag! Do not settle for that answer, that’s illegal. Thank you for sharing that info. It’s important to know.

But when the bag comes in with flaws and defects it should be 100% refund! I'm glad I could share that with everyone; because it is good to know and can help someone make a choice to buy or not buy
