I'm just now seeing this video have you updated your pedal board any since this video I'd love to see any updates you may have made in the past 5 years. Especially since there's been some major game changers since then in the HX Stomp or the Strymon Iridium. I personally use the HX Stomp
God bless you brother so I've played acoustic guitar all my life and I want to start playing electric guitar but I dont know what to do. Would appreciate if you could make a video on acoustic to electric transition
Hey Pablo. Thank you so much for making this video! Can you do a video on the Strymon Iridium IR setup? I play a lot of “worship” music mostly in my home studio and I’m wondering how you would incorporate that into a church service. Thank you!
You gained a new sub! Great video, it was very informative. Just got asked by my church to help lead people in worship, very first time on stage. Super nervous, been playing guitar for 2 years. (p.s. any advice for live guitar playing?)
Dude! That happened to me last year! I got asked to lead instead of play electric and I was crazy nervous but now I’m one of the worship leaders so God has a plan for you bro! You got this! Where are you based? I’d love to visit your church sometime! And when it comes to worship guitar my only suggestion is master the mechanics and your parts so that you can be more present and worship in the Spirit. That’s tough to do when you haven’t practiced or know how to play well! So keep it all up! It’s worth it!
Pablo Farnan Thank you man, I appreciate the advice. I’m based in Phoenix, AZ and my church is somewhat smaller, but we are in the process of selling it and moving to another establishment. We’re currently at a stand still when it comes to worship leading, the old worship leader retired and went to Florid and there’s currently no singers to help or other guitar players, I’m just about the only one.
MrDiScoBiscuits dang man! That’s kind of exactly what happened to us. Our full time worship leader stepped down to pursue his business full time which then left us with little to no worship leaders. I had to step up and now the Lord has blessed our church with 6 worship leaders, myself included that rotate. Remain faithful and He will be there for you my friend! You got this!
So jealous that you have the kilt V1! They are so hard to find these days. I see a voodoo labs power power 2 down there as well. Great choice as I just got one this week and solved all humming noises from mine. What patch cables are you using with your setup?
Love all your videos but especially your vlogs and music based vids! You should make a video of you playing bits and pieces of your fav secular songs/ worship songs on guitar!
I saw you first in Photography videos that I keep watching. I learn a lot from your coverage videography... I am searching about worship pedalboard and I didn't expect to see you Cool..:-)
Thanks for doing this Pablo! Definitely want to hear you playing your Veritas guitar. Looks sweet. Have you heard of That Pedal Show? You would love it!
You have so much empty space on your board! You could fit this all on a classic jr for a really clean and compact setup, have you considered this option?
You should try one of the Boss volume pedals. I've had one for over a year with no problems. Iplay a lot of swells and they don't break like the ernie ball.
I use the integrated exp pedal in my multi unit from boss/Roland and it works much better than my boss volume but I find even the standalone boss volume to be the best. The standalone pedal I use to control different parameters based on the patch that I’m using, rotary speed or to toggle between two delay speeds or something like that.
Sir i am confuse ,what can i choose, please give good advise for Buy Lead Pedal : JHS Superbolt or Jhs Kilt or Fultone OCD? Btw,i have Boss SD1 on my board as first drive
Oh boy! I forget at the moment. I believe it’s like 1.5 ft by like 3ft maybe? Somewhere in there. Let me look at it when I get to church and I’ll get back to you my friend!
Great video very helpful. Things get tricky when your church insists on a direct box for your rig..transitioning into using the Moore live pedal for my setup, anyone else using this di box as well?
Jake Piland I do, yes haha I use 64 audio IEMs. And I have the models that have six drives in each ear. 2 low drivers, 2 mid drivers, 2 high drivers per ear. Great company! Never had an issue with them ever.
You dont need a big pedal board and mine is quite simple. There’s about $2000 worth of pedals there! The blue sky and timeline are big complex pedals lol 😂 really nice board tho!
Do you get paid to play in church? Only in America. I have been playing for over 30 years and never got paid once. It was my gift, serving, giving my talent back as a tithe. If you get paid it might be more Biblical to give that money to the homeless in my opinion. Do you have a 'day job'? It would go against my conscience to take money for doing something I love and would do anyway because it's not about money really is it? Or maybe it is in America. Maybe cultural. Isn't greed/avarice mentioned in the Bible - it could be translated as G.A.S. Why do you need so many sounds???? How do they "Seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow", "To look after orphans and widows in their distress" ?? And 'worship' isn't a musical genre it's a spiritual act like feeding the poor and taking care of the disadvantaged, oppressed and vulverable. It seems there's a confusion between the words 'praise' and 'worship'. Praising and praying is good and important but only if to facilitate going out and visiting the sick. It seems a lot of people are too busy collecting guitars amps and pedals to do what God says is really important.
Matthew Pollard I’ve never been paid money from the church though. I own my own business and just serve at the church for no money. So what are you trying to tell me?
Thanks for the reply. It was just an honest question because I have seen a lot of things that concern me with American church culture (I say culture rather than religion or Christianity because I think it's different from my perspective). Loving God is really the only important thing really and the expression of that obeying what is often difficult. Great you serve in this way! It shows a servant heart and good that you work hard and give yourself to the church. Very admirable!
@@jerryjcn that's a salient point. I think all the pastors I know get a small allowance from the church for expenses but do not draw a full salary etc, they rely on God to meet their needs, and told me stories where they prayed and someone sent a donation. also their wives have full-time jobs bringing in the majority of the income so they have a good comfortable life. their churches are over-generous to the poor and as a result the church itself is v healthy financially as money they couldn't expect is donated, and one i know gives more to the poor year-on-year than any I know or have experienced, because the pastor sacrificed financially so the homeless fund is never empty in fact as coordinator of the clothing (mainly donations but sometimes I have to buy underwear, hats, scarves and gloves) i have never known the budget to run dry (it's mainly used for the food and drink budget) so in my opinion that is scriptural faith in action. so there may not be any logic to you, but faith denies logic. so i don't get your point my fine friend. what did William Carey say? The "father of modern missions" (British Christian missionary, translator, social reformer and cultural anthropologist who founded the Serampore College and the Serampore University, the first degree-awarding university in India) well he said "Expect great things from God, and attempt great things for God." People seem to easily forget the example of great missionaries and pastors from before the age of hightened consumerism (worldly) capitalism (Jesus was more socialist) and so on. I know i am not going to change anyone's mind here, but it doesn't negate my duty to point out the flaws in a consumerist lifestyle.
The Strymon pedals; "they are so worth it if you are into worship". Er, nope. If you are into Worship you could turn all the instruments off and worship God without anything. You don't need kit to worship. You do need kit however to put yourself on stage and play solos to get everyone artificially worked-up emotionally. We need nothing to worship God. In fact those who have nothing are possibly better able to worship God. Its not a show for them. They are not an audience.
If that's what you think, that's cool, but you are in the wrong part of the internet. This is a video for a walkthrough of a pedalboard of a contemporary worship artist. Did you honestly expect him to say, "you know guys, this is supposed to be a demonstration of my pedals, but since you shouldn't need anything to worship, I'm going to make a 7-minute video of nothing but me shouting, and definitely no pedals". Like, why are you even here?
Worship isn’t just music. Worship is how we live our lives. The way we love people and live our lives is worship. So none of the production value matters. In fact my favorite way to worship is just with an acoustic and voices but we love giving God our best and using the gifts he gave us to their fullest potential and giving everything he gave us right back up to Him. Happy to hear you feel the same way my friend! God bless you brother!
I like this guy. He seems real. And his board is awesome. Everything ya need is right there. Love it.
Haha thanks man! Really appreciate that haha
Dude -- Very cool! I play guitar at our church too. Impressed by how much self control is demonstrated on that board!!!
That’s awesome! So happy you’re playing too! I appreciate your kind comment because I’m trying my best to have self control yaha

still have plenty of space though ;)
Amen to that! Haha
I like to see your videos based on Worship / Worship leading. Thanks for posting this and God bless.

Make more of these videos man! Could you make a budget worship board?
Hahaha I’ll try that!
Nice board! I like to keep my board simple as well.
Simple is the way to go! Not in every scenario but definitely for me for now haha happy to hear you feel the same way haha
nice! very simple! God bless you
God bless you too my friend!
You have so much empty space on your board! You could fit this all on a classic jr for a really clean and compact setup, have you considered this option?
You’re right! I have considered but I spend all my money on camera gear right now haha
Simple? In Brazil a pedalboard like this costs the same a heart on the black market! ahahaha
Nice man! great video, very enlightening
HAHAHA That is so funny! Happy you enjoyed my friend. Thank you for watching!
It'll be really cool if you make a video of your setup with the sound :)
I will definitely make a video of that!

I would go with the kilt my friend! Great tone! I hope this helps!
Hey bro! I have a question, will it be more better if i put reverb into delay or delay into reverb. i want an ambient sound. thanks!
Great question! I prefer to put delay before reverb. I’ve found that to be best. Worth a try both ways though! Hope this helps my friend!
That guitar though! Stunning. I looked them up and they cost a pretty penny for sure
But where is the Metal Zone?
Awesome video though.
Stack 3 metal zones. That's the way to go
Hahaha it’s at Guitar Center.
“For the bridge of oceans, when the spirit leads you to shred a gnarly solo.”
Wait I know you! Your also a photographer! So cool you also do this!
You know me?! That’s awesome! Where do you know me from?
do you stack the Kilt with the MG?
I do sometimes if I wanna get out there for a lead part or something! Not often though 😊
What's the bass player's board look like?
Dude! I’ll have to make a video on that!
@@PabloFarnan
Cool!
It’s like you read my mind and then post the videos I want you to post..😂
Jake Piland haha that’s awesome! Thanks man!
You don't use any chorus pedal?
What size pedalboard is that?
Oh boy! I forget at the moment. I believe it’s like 1.5 ft by like 3ft maybe? Somewhere in there. Let me look at it when I get to church and I’ll get back to you my friend!

Are you using the effects loop of the amp or straight in the front?
Straight in the front.
Tried emailing you, to inquire if you build custom worship pedal boards for sale
My pre volume pedal side of the chain basically the same
Michael Drawdy nice dude! Keep serving bro!
Why do you use 3 drives
I like the different tones. I sometime stack but mainly the different sounds each one makes is something I like to mess with haha
Those Amps!!! 🤤🤤🤤
Right?! So thankful my church invested in them! Haha
Pablo al hablar tan rapido y cantado supe que eres latino. Dios te bendiga
Dios the bendiga tambien!
Did your church pay for everything :O
Haha no way! Everything you see in this video is owned by me except for the amps.
@@PabloFarnan cools cools mans :) have a blessed Sunday brother!
Just wondering what kind of in ear monitors you use? I’m guessing you use some?
Jake Piland I do, yes haha I use 64 audio IEMs. And I have the models that have six drives in each ear. 2 low drivers, 2 mid drivers, 2 high drivers per ear. Great company! Never had an issue with them ever.
Pablo Farnan looked into those before and the look great! Thanks for letting me know!
Coming from Ireland, worship pedal boards seem bizarre.
Rig run down- acoustic guitar and beard.
Hahahaha I’ll have to try that one sometime!
Veritas located in Vancouver, WA
I got my places mixed up. Yes!

Trying to find the date of the strat by looking behind it lmao. Yeahh... fender doesnt stamp the date on the back.
Hahaha the guy who built it out the date on it. I found it after the fact haha
You obviously don't realise that that gesture you make right at the beginning is considered extremely rude in some parts of the world.
Mike Elliott ah poor mike is offended
Just recently learned that. Here is America it means peace which is what I’m all about. Love and peace my friend.
@@PabloFarnan Actually, no. The peace symbol would have your hand the other way round.
