This game is incredibly addictive! I got this in the Wii eshop eons ago in a different time and age. I remember being so excited for the TurboGrafix 16 section of the Wii’s eshop because I had always wanted but never for one. This was the first game I got, and it is perhaps the best video game pinball experience to exist.
This is easily one of my all-time favorite pinball games - right on par, I think, with Psycho Pinball on the PC. It's totally metal in the best possible way. It also helps that Compile developed it :D
I absolutely LOVE Pinball machines, but I wasn't sure about these types of Pinball games. But then I found Sonic Spinball and Crüe Ball for the Sega Genesis and I was hooked! Sonic Spinball wasn't exactly a traditional Pinball game yet it was fiercely addictive and loads of fun. As for Crüe Ball? Well I saw Mötley Crüe over 10 ➕ times in concert, so they are next to Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osborne, AC⚡DC, and Pink Floyd, my all-time favorite band ever! Their stage shows were insane. I've been a fan since 1982. So Crüe Ball was for me, a no brainer. A little later on I found this game for my TurboGraphx-16. I grabbed it instantly! And I really loved it as well. The TurboGraphx-16 had some great games. I liked it's set-up, the controls were decent enough, and the graphics were good as well. The sounds weren't the best. Some distorted metallic tinny sounds. But it was still a good system. This was one of the better games for me anyway. Bonk's Adventure, Bonk's Revenge, this Pinball game were my favorites. I know there are more but I can't remember them exactly. Irregardless these looks back at some of these iconic games is a awesome way to spend your day. Many awesome memories and really fun moments have come from these games and I loved watching them again! Thank you!
When you wanted to make Ghouls and Goblins for the TBG16 but your boss wanted a pinball game. How it totally blew my 6 years old mind at the time tho. =)
Had both this and Alien Crush as a kid. Incredible games, it's a shame that very few people in the US actually got a TG16, the console had so many absolute gems. The fact it was technically an 8-Bit console meant almost nothing when you had graphics like this compared an NES.
i see people comparing it to the genesis version, well the genesis version does have better graphics ( more detailed look at a side by side if you don't believe me) more bonus stages, additional songs. i personally don't like how the music stops where as the tg-16 version keeps going.
Both versions have 6 bonus stages but the Genesis has more varied stages while the Turbo's look more similar (prob less memory for the backgrounds) the Genesis has better overall graphics but also it has some issues with the ball falling thru the walls which I assume the Turbo doesnt.
Played the genesis version and I still prefer the TG16 version. Music is way better on the TG16 even though the Genesis was supposed to have the superior sound chip.
@@frankhdz The Turbo has crazy good sound whith the right coders check out the CLICK sound when the ball is shot from the portals in Devil Crush Genesis cant make a click that crisp.
The sound and graphics are certainly better on this than the genesis. I think the genesis did the bonus stages better in terms of graphic's, but overall that's a minor thing.
Nah, The tune in Genesis version is better, Graphics in some sprites PC engine is better, but in general Sega Genesis have a lot of more details, Genesis bonus stage is awesome extra.
@@chev9632 Nah, the PC-Engine/Turbo Grafix 16 blows away the music and sound of the Megadrive version and only the bonus stages are better on Sega Genesis/Megadrive. More detail? Try higher resolution but with far less colors. The TG-16/PCE version is the original, so the Genesis version is a bit more refined. But in music, Genesis is blown away by this version!
Rick S , Look, I understand that the PC engine version is great, if I had it I wouldn't need to buy the Genesis version, I also feel great sound effects in Genesis but better for PC Engine, over the colors even though the PC Engine has a much larger color palette than the Mega, the victory comes more because of the color choices than the quantity on screen, the difference is not very large and can be reduced with Gabriel Pyron's Color Hack, but that doesn't really matter. In addition the Mega version is fantastic the songs are not inferior to the PC Engine, in other games like Truxton you can even say that we have inferior songs, but here we have excellent songs and still new songs, we have more detailed pixel art and some masterpiece like Stage 6, a higher resolution as well. PC Engine - Better colors Best sound effects Great music Megadrive - More details Great music New high-level music More detailed Pixel Art Higher resolution New content for Bonus. Yes, the PC engine version is the original and excellent, but as it happened in Truxton this time the role was reversed. The Mega Version comes later and takes all the good things from the PC Engine version and adds great new content and improves the old one.
You should cradle the ball sometimes. It allows for better skill shots. ;) (edit) i noticed that you did eventually start cradling 'sometimes' around 9 minutes. lol
@@MikeWilsonBarrett I once had a PINK ball from something insane I did and I never knew how to replicate it. Something having to do with the Queens head. I'm not talking about the red ball 2x multiplier or blue ball 4x multiplyer, I had a PINK ball. I don't even know what the multiplayer was. Did you ever come across it?
And people say this version sounds better than Megadrive version?? Get real. It sounds awful. Far too much bass for one. Sound dips on ocassion and the graphics are poor compared to MD version. None the less a fantastic game.

I wish it was on the MINI since Alien Crush is pretty limited w 2/3 the content of DC.
this was on the Wii shop?!
Try DEMON'S TILT
I just got this OST on Vinyl I'm not kidding.

Have you played demons tilt on steam? it's the spiritual successor to this one.
Try Demon's Tilt on PC. New, super fun, spiritual successor :)

There needs to be more games with this style of art and music. This is phenomenal.
Well there is Alien Crush, Jaki Crush, and Demon's Tilt.
The transformation of the lady's head is the best part.
I have a lot of great memories of this game. Thanks for posting.

The music from this game, OMG love love love
the music on this one and alien crush are both tops
I've seen them all, TG16 track is the best version.
Every thing else is like crunched and improper. Devil's crush is definitive .
i agree, this is the best version
Best thing I ever got from one of my ex-gfs was this console & a bunch of games, the best/my favorite (by far) being Devil's Crush 👹💥
Should have been on the Turbo Mini!!
my sentiments exactly
I had so much fun playing this game. I miss my TurboGrafx-16.
The TG16 version has more solid graphics and gameplay than Genesis but Genesis had more detailed bonus levels its hard to pick which is better
Honestly this is the most Evil game of them all!!
@Jameson Quinton Wouldn't doing that just add you to their database of hackable adresses?🤔
No bro, the game of life is. Once you get the big picture haha
I am a fan how this and Jaki Crush have ladies beating the Demons at the end. Cool dynamic of innocence vs evil.
Damn i missed that game so much!
Me too...
for sure

Wasn''t this game also released as "Dragon's Fury" for the SEGA Genesis?
Is there an equivalent password that I can use on ”Dragon’s Fury” (Mega Drive)?
