This was great. I have done alot of your other warmups and that last exercise has always been my favorite. I'm glad to have this longer exercise to add to my routine. From a baritone, thanks for doing what you do.
Thankyou for still sharing ur awesome knowledge , plz could u give some exercise on agility I am unable to perform riffs when I want to , I am unable to control my riffs .
Great warmup, thank you!!! I find just doing the practice in the morning is a sure way to actually practice. I see a lot of times before I’m going to sing I’m not warming up completely. It take’s probably an hour and usually I’m rushing for twenty minutes. Time isn’t always there, I just love singing but also want people to enjoy. Do you have any tips for shorter warmups that will get your voice ready?
Thanks for the video, Jeff! What a doozy, that last exercise, coordinating breath flow with just those quick releases of breath like that over such a large range, on just one vowel - it hung a lantern on areas that needed some attention to balance intonation, for me. I'm curious, was the /i/ vowel selected for a particular reason?
You're welcome, Felicity! Indeed, as I mention, you might want to pause a bit in that last exercise! /i/ is the starting point, the easiest vowel (in general) to start the practice with. I think, or meant to mention, that after you get comfortable with it, you can start to switch vowels on the melismatic scale. Thanks for watching! Thanks for subscribing!

@@JeffRolka as we use this daily, would changing the vowels patterns to the previous exercises be advantageous? For me going higher doing A/Ah seems to be easier getting towards the end

Hello my friend
your microphone?
Abrazo
I am using a Neumann KMS 105 for my voice. I have a matched pair of KM 184 microphones under the piano. Thanks for asking!
One more thing. Can you please some time add some range expantion exarsizes? Thanks again!
Absolutely! There are quite a few already here on the channel, though, if you want to get started!

Great i
This was really hard at the end. Those short breaths are really hard to get in.
Challenging, yes, but so worth it! Keep it up Gene!
