There is no doubt. There is a group of about 30 people who trade the same money back and forth propping the value of these cards up. Once in a while they get a rich sucker to pay 200k for a card of a prospect and they all cash in. The breakers are in league with the companies who make the cards as they get waaaay too many pulls of elite cards.
