After a number of race you didn't need money anymore, you only needed to improve your driving style. Instead the score of FH4 pilots need to reach level 1, to do that they use ramming opponents from level 18 to level 1.!!It is so sad FH4
Test Drive Unlimited games aren't just driving games, they're lifestyle games, with houses and social aspects being key to the series success, which no other driving game has really matched over the years. TDU games have always been ahead of their time.

This is the single most important game series of my life. it shaped my childhood and made me fall in love with cars. It was so immersive and days were spent just driving and listening to music.

Being able to hangout with my friends in my house I bought show off my cars, not even gta 5 online could touch it. And gta 5 experience is pretty nice. The overall feeling of being able to hangout and drive around, race. Have a clubhouse like come on! Compete against other clubs. Get higher rankings in your club. This game rn is so more important than any other race car game if you ask me.

in my opinion there are two important thing to do during build up it 1- increase engine powerful, and handling steering of the cars for guys who use keyboard!! Too much advantaged is for LogitechG29 and Xbox users! 2- Solve issue of ramming car of opponents while we are race arcade !!!
It has to be like Forza Horizon in 2012 or The Crew in 2014. Decent game at the right time. Its either bankrupt or went all out but make sure it wont ended up being like CP 2.0, Ambitious but cocked up.
I mean TDU 1 + 2 were ahead of their times and if the online worked for you it was sick. (Xbox 360 was what I played on) So it seems promising, just expanding on what they've done before / already know adding more and correcting what was wrong (The handling by far was the worst aspect of the game.) Idc about the cringey cut scenes tbh that's probably how people would act on reality TV and some of the racing was repetitive but I still loved every minute of playing TDU 1 and 2 during their height back in the day.
I remember buying TDU for psp probably in 2006-2007 without expecting much. I was surprised by the scale of the map, the houses and almost role play aspect of the game. I poured an insane amount of hours in this game back then, and I couldn't be more ready to do the same now, with even more details and with increasingly realistic graphics and physics. I'm glad the license is still alive and I hope it will keep on living

This is now or never for KT. TDU can literally work as a game changer for KT and Nacon. If not driverclub then at least forza level graphics is must! I hope they checks through the earlier TDU games to get the proper idea so they could make this game perfect from every single aspect. If they can pull it off perfectly then this game alone can make them a fortune. I didn't really liked the quality of WRC and TDU is whole different type of game and quality of whole another level compared to what they've been making until now. I hope they will give it all and make a memorable comeback for this game!
we need this game to be good the way the others were so that these developers can stop giving us lazy games with lazy features. horizon to be exact. its an absolute shame what horizon is. it has everything it needs to push the bar and they create a daycare "open" world racer. i cant believe that all these years later you cant truelly look around the inside of your car (exluding actual racing games). horizon doesnt even let you use spyder variant vehicles roof system.

Imagine the game had more details on you car, working windows & indicators, pvp police chases and most of all: the map size of Oahu from TDU2. I think no racing game could compete in a very long time! (Also I think that the cars in Horizon 4 have not had any real value, since you could win almost any car and cash was abundant... But I know that this may be an unpopular opinion)

My favourite thing about TDU is that it is a lifestyle game focused around cars. It gets so much right that other games have not replicated. Like having to find dealerships and clothes shops, interior choices and OEM wheels for cars. Even the buying of the houses and choosing interiors as well as walking around them, but you also need to buy houses due to car storage limitations, like just compare that to Forza Horizon 4. FH4 map is tiny, you can buy and view all cars in 1 place. When you buy a car, there is no experience of buying it. The houses are totally pointless, not only can you not modify the house, you cannot see the interior, and there is absolutely no need to buy the homes.
They are literally reviving one of my favorite racing games ever. I’m very excited. Btw please do keep making videos. You’ve got some really good potential there
As a TDU fanatic since the first one, one of the biggest things I want this next installment to nail down is the physics. I miss the days of selecting Hardcore driver settings in TDU1 and just drifting all of Hawaii for hours with fellow online drivers in free roam. I long for those days to return and hopefully TDU:SC will deliver on that front!

As a hardcore car nut, I HAAAATED the engine sounds in the TDU games but for some reason I just loved those games and I'm excited to find out there will be a new one some day. I always liked the idea of a racing game with other life-like things you could do like buy and customize houses and garages, maybe some kind of jobs you could do to make money if you wanted that aren't necessarily race related. Like Forza mixed with The Sims mechanics.
Tdu solar crown might return some beloved cars like 90s bmws, JDM cars, the most iconic cars, and also the innovative ones from the past years, also i want to see an antagonist that works with the cops. And one thing in my hype is... more clothes!
Judging by the trailer there seems to be quite an emphasis on clothing since they showed off jewelry and watches and everything. However, none of that is confirmed so I wouldnt expect anything. I'm not gonna buy this game before reviews you never know what's gonna happen with today's games industry.

People shit on the handling of TDU 1 & 2. But at least the cars had weight. Which most arcade racers forget about. Therefore I found it very satisfying. Ofc, the car delivery missions, mmo, garages, dealerships, car interior with function, the map etc etc are also why it still to this day is my favorite driving game. Particularly TDU 1, because that was like crack to me when it came out lol.. anyway, excited for TDU3. Hopefully it’s bigger then just Hong Kong island

Seems like they will be doing a 1:1 scale of Hong Kong island. I am really excited about this since there really has never been any games that really tried to have a Hong Kong setting/map let alone ones that realistic. I am hoping this game turns out well and have works great with a wheel, seems like it has massive potential so far

One of my best friends to this day I met while playing TDU 2 and both of us are so hyped to get into TDUSC when it comes out. All I can say I hope the hype is worth it
I got TDU2 right after I finished FH1 and the game just had its own unique vibe, was a lot of fun playing it and in contrast to FH rhey didn’t throw supercars at you, so it actually felt like an achievement getting one. Excited for the new one!
I still remember years ago playing the first Test Drive Unlimited game on the PSP and I’m so excited to play this game on the Switch so I can relive playing Test Drive on the go.
I personally loved everything about TDU2, especially the physics. They were quirky but once you got used to them, you’d fall in love with them. Ppl just don’t know what to do and what not to do when driving. For example, don’t hit objects or curbs in sports cars. Or don’t take cars with less than 40 hp to the mountains. Cars sounds were UNREAL especially after the update. So unreal to the point where you can hear the ear piercing whine from the drivetrain in the CCXR when you lift off at higher revs. The concept of car dealers and real estates is what really got me. No other racing game developers do it like Eden and Atari did TDU2. So many memorable moments in this game.
Making TDU SC good from every aspect is an essential element. But I m wondering and worried all its potential will be ruined from guys coming from NFS-FH4-etc. There they are accostumed ramming opponents . They want to get a hit score on ranking instead of learning to drive own car and respesct the other pilots

I’m hoping the physics are closer to assetto corsa than horizon but suitable for controller gameplay so it can access the wider market but shuts out the shitters
The handling will be critical to how fun this game could be. We need to be able to actually hold a drift, unlike the snappy, unpredictable nature of Tdu2 physics. TDU1 got it close to perfect with the old hardcore mode. Best driving game I've played till this very day. And they NEED to bring back indicators and foldable roofs on convertibles.
I feel so so so sooooo bad for people who don't understand the hype of Solar Crown. TDU 1 & TDU 2 were literally just life. It sounds overboard but I literally get chills in my body just thinking of this series. The open world was INSANELY realistic and the ability to play with like 40 other people online was so ahead of its time. Don't get me wrong .... Midnight Club and Need for Speed Underground 2 were untouchable but....for those that don't know.... TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED will forever remain that GOD of racing games. There's seriously no if and or buts about it. I've never even been this hype for a new grand theft auto. THIS and GTA 6 will be the only games I really care for with the new gen consoles.
Test Drive franchise is since 1987, literally is the father of many racing games as Need For speed, Burnout, Asphalt, Midtown Madness-Midnight club, Cruin's, Forza Horizon; and its original developer-creator were the same the original Need For Speed developers.
Great video bud I decided to reply TDU2 for whatever it is, it was a pain to run it as I got RTX card, game crashes a lot randomly still but much less without graphics mods, just patches I get a crash once every hour maybe...honestly don't know why I love this game!!!
I really loved TDU2. I had a friend whom I met in online cruising. I never had his contact info because he didnt play the steam version. Sometimes I still wonder what is he doing. If I ever meet him in the new TDU I probably wont know because I forgot the nickname as well. Anyway, I hope this game wont be as buggy and wont die so soon and I will also be able to enjoy it as much as the old one.
The map of TDU SC is TINY though (smaller than only the Honolulu area in TDU2) and on the website they state that the "Solar Hotel" is the HQ where you live so there probably won't be real estate you can buy... Ohh and as it seems there are no dealerships because you gain the access to cars through the progression within one of two clans...
I remember trying the demos for these games. They never drove good. Even on PS2 before Unlimited. I was never a fan but was definitely envious seeing people play and have houses and stuff in-game. No other game did that and still don't. I'm excited to see if they finally made the handling great. If it's ok or like The Crew when it came out. Fuck that. I'm sure a demo/beta will be out to convince people to buy into this old franchise.

TDU1 was best. Taking the enzo from one side of the island to the other without crashing was the kind of mission that made me love the game. The small missions, not the races.
Honestly I remember at the time TDU2 came out, the reviews were pretty bad, talking about the 'terrible driving mechanics' and connection issues. Sure the online didn't work that well but the driving mechanics weren't terrible, they were just unique and still fun for a game like this. But to get to my point, nowadays we look at this game as a masterpiece because modern games are just so shit. Modern games lack any kind of personality, they're just made by a bunch of people who are paid a yearly salary (not that that's bad) and probably have no real passion for the game, or if they do, it's overshadowed by shitty management and the people who are actually making the game don't get to make the important decisions, and instead, it's forcefully molded from this pre-made known-to-sell formula and fed into us through excessive marketing and promises about features they never even intended on making.
It got bad reviews because it wasn't fun to play... And you can't be serious that games today are "shit" while at the same time speaking glowingly about TDU2... Get real man. Give TDU2 a play after this. If you don't agree that the driving physics are clunky and stiff then your opinion has little value. I just fired it up again a few months ago and yikes! It hasn't aged well at all.
Not only that test drive and the second are best simulator , but the feeling of driving a car is special and different , they re soo original and similar to the cars in reality that it's like you re in the ficking car
I think the reason and sole reason tdu is coming back after such a long hiatus just bcuz of how so far ahead they were for their time, almost every aspect from tdu 1 and 2 is implemented in the newest racing games every year, forzavista was literally ripped right out of tdu 1 and that’s is one of the things forza is praised for

This game was an inspiration for FH1, both Forza Horizon and the crew do take alot of the concepts from TDU. TDU did what these games did 6-8 years before the pair of them on systems which can be outran by modern phones. If you are a massive Forza fan you need to have some respect for TDU in that regard

Can this game be defined as a GTA Online with more customization, and No illegal things like kill, weapons, heists? Looks promising!! Hope the physics of driving is as fun as GTA.
Definitely not more customisation, TDU have historically been terrible at that (barring dealership options in which they were a class leader in). Otherwise yes, the other things are on poont

should of played the first one with sounds + bov mods they fixed that problem but man are they hard to find now a days
Tdu solar crown might return some beloved cars like 90s bmws, JDM cars, the most iconic cars, and also the innovative ones from the past years, also i want to see an antagonist that works with the cops. And one thing in my hype is... more clothes!
Judging by the trailer there seems to be quite an emphasis on clothing since they showed off jewelry and watches and everything. However, none of that is confirmed so I wouldnt expect anything. I'm not gonna buy this game before reviews you never know what's gonna happen with today's games industry.

People shit on the handling of TDU 1 & 2. But at least the cars had weight. Which most arcade racers forget about. Therefore I found it very satisfying. Ofc, the car delivery missions, mmo, garages, dealerships, car interior with function, the map etc etc are also why it still to this day is my favorite driving game. Particularly TDU 1, because that was like crack to me when it came out lol.. anyway, excited for TDU3. Hopefully it’s bigger then just Hong Kong island
The first TDU was a great driving game, racing with friends in the mountains with Ford GTs were a memorable experience. I miss it.
The fact that they have previous game devs involved the development in TDU SC really gives me hope this will be s great game. I hope they learn from the mistakes of TDU2

Seems like they will be doing a 1:1 scale of Hong Kong island. I am really excited about this since there really has never been any games that really tried to have a Hong Kong setting/map let alone ones that realistic. I am hoping this game turns out well and have works great with a wheel, seems like it has massive potential so far
The car and driving physics might not be the best, but a lot of the cars in TDU2 sound so good.

One of my best friends to this day I met while playing TDU 2 and both of us are so hyped to get into TDUSC when it comes out. All I can say I hope the hype is worth it
I got TDU2 right after I finished FH1 and the game just had its own unique vibe, was a lot of fun playing it and in contrast to FH rhey didn’t throw supercars at you, so it actually felt like an achievement getting one. Excited for the new one!

I still remember years ago playing the first Test Drive Unlimited game on the PSP and I’m so excited to play this game on the Switch so I can relive playing Test Drive on the go.
Forza Horizon could be a lot like TDU if they went the extra mile. They already have the houses & customizable characters
I personally loved everything about TDU2, especially the physics. They were quirky but once you got used to them, you’d fall in love with them. Ppl just don’t know what to do and what not to do when driving. For example, don’t hit objects or curbs in sports cars. Or don’t take cars with less than 40 hp to the mountains. Cars sounds were UNREAL especially after the update. So unreal to the point where you can hear the ear piercing whine from the drivetrain in the CCXR when you lift off at higher revs. The concept of car dealers and real estates is what really got me. No other racing game developers do it like Eden and Atari did TDU2. So many memorable moments in this game.
I cant wait to see how beautiful this game is. FH4 at a 1440p on extreme settings with around 130 fps is already amazing for me

Making TDU SC good from every aspect is an essential element. But I m wondering and worried all its potential will be ruined from guys coming from NFS-FH4-etc. There they are accostumed ramming opponents . They want to get a hit score on ranking instead of learning to drive own car and respesct the other pilots

I’m hoping the physics are closer to assetto corsa than horizon but suitable for controller gameplay so it can access the wider market but shuts out the shitters

The handling will be critical to how fun this game could be. We need to be able to actually hold a drift, unlike the snappy, unpredictable nature of Tdu2 physics. TDU1 got it close to perfect with the old hardcore mode. Best driving game I've played till this very day.
And they NEED to bring back indicators and foldable roofs on convertibles.
I feel so so so sooooo bad for people who don't understand the hype of Solar Crown. TDU 1 & TDU 2 were literally just life. It sounds overboard but I literally get chills in my body just thinking of this series. The open world was INSANELY realistic and the ability to play with like 40 other people online was so ahead of its time. Don't get me wrong .... Midnight Club and Need for Speed Underground 2 were untouchable but....for those that don't know.... TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED will forever remain that GOD of racing games. There's seriously no if and or buts about it. I've never even been this hype for a new grand theft auto. THIS and GTA 6 will be the only games I really care for with the new gen consoles.

Test Drive franchise is since 1987, literally is the father of many racing games as Need For speed, Burnout, Asphalt, Midtown Madness-Midnight club, Cruin's, Forza Horizon; and its original developer-creator were the same the original Need For Speed developers.

Great video bud I decided to reply TDU2 for whatever it is, it was a pain to run it as I got RTX card, game crashes a lot randomly still but much less without graphics mods, just patches I get a crash once every hour maybe...honestly don't know why I love this game!!!

I really loved TDU2. I had a friend whom I met in online cruising. I never had his contact info because he didnt play the steam version. Sometimes I still wonder what is he doing. If I ever meet him in the new TDU I probably wont know because I forgot the nickname as well. Anyway, I hope this game wont be as buggy and wont die so soon and I will also be able to enjoy it as much as the old one.
The map of TDU SC is TINY though (smaller than only the Honolulu area in TDU2) and on the website they state that the "Solar Hotel" is the HQ where you live so there probably won't be real estate you can buy... Ohh and as it seems there are no dealerships because you gain the access to cars through the progression within one of two clans...

I remember trying the demos for these games. They never drove good. Even on PS2 before Unlimited. I was never a fan but was definitely envious seeing people play and have houses and stuff in-game. No other game did that and still don't. I'm excited to see if they finally made the handling great. If it's ok or like The Crew when it came out. Fuck that. I'm sure a demo/beta will be out to convince people to buy into this old franchise.

TDU1 was best. Taking the enzo from one side of the island to the other without crashing was the kind of mission that made me love the game. The small missions, not the races.

Honestly I remember at the time TDU2 came out, the reviews were pretty bad, talking about the 'terrible driving mechanics' and connection issues. Sure the online didn't work that well but the driving mechanics weren't terrible, they were just unique and still fun for a game like this. But to get to my point, nowadays we look at this game as a masterpiece because modern games are just so shit. Modern games lack any kind of personality, they're just made by a bunch of people who are paid a yearly salary (not that that's bad) and probably have no real passion for the game, or if they do, it's overshadowed by shitty management and the people who are actually making the game don't get to make the important decisions, and instead, it's forcefully molded from this pre-made known-to-sell formula and fed into us through excessive marketing and promises about features they never even intended on making.
When i look at modern racing games' features i feel that most of them are stolen from tdu2 lol
It got bad reviews because it wasn't fun to play... And you can't be serious that games today are "shit" while at the same time speaking glowingly about TDU2... Get real man. Give TDU2 a play after this. If you don't agree that the driving physics are clunky and stiff then your opinion has little value. I just fired it up again a few months ago and yikes! It hasn't aged well at all.

I think the reason and sole reason tdu is coming back after such a long hiatus just bcuz of how so far ahead they were for their time, almost every aspect from tdu 1 and 2 is implemented in the newest racing games every year, forzavista was literally ripped right out of tdu 1 and that’s is one of the things forza is praised for

This game was an inspiration for FH1, both Forza Horizon and the crew do take alot of the concepts from TDU. TDU did what these games did 6-8 years before the pair of them on systems which can be outran by modern phones. If you are a massive Forza fan you need to have some respect for TDU in that regard
