I've cried in work before. I was involved with someone I worked with who was emotional abusive so it wasn't easy to hold it in. Very toxic. I was known as the crier though and unstable but not everyone knew what I was going through. I felt judged all the time and it got in the way of a promotion. Crying is healthy though.

I've cried in front of my boss but she's the one that caused me to cry. She literally stood behind me in my personal space for 10min while I was working. I had no clue then I turned around and she literally caused me to have panic attack. I couldn't breath my heart rate would not slow down I had to go to her office to ask to go home and while doing so I broke down cause I was horrified and going through those symptoms at work omg! I tried to go the restroom and get it together but I just couldn't. I absolutely hated crying. But... Oh well!

I’m a man and a teacher. I have cried at work on multiple occasions. Like when I realized that some students eat during my class because they are hungry and won’t be able to eat at home. Or when I met the foster parents at the parent/teacher conference and they informed me that they were not going to keep their foster child for too much longer.

I used to work in a research lab at a pretty prestigious university as an undergrad placement student and I had this massive deadline which would have contributed to a journal publication which is a big deal especially for someone who didnt even have a degree yet! Anyways the deadline was something like 8 a.m the next day and all the samples had to be fresh so I spent almost 2 days straight preparing them when in my sleep deprived and stressed out nervy state I accidentally messed up what was meant to be thrown away and what was meant to be kept. I legit couldn't stop the tears from coming but I feel like if you're passionate about what you do being emotional isnt unprofessional in that case. I cared a lot about my job so when something went wrong of course I was gonna be upset!!! But that being said I had a small rest at my desk, ate a snack and just got back into the grind even if it meant having to pull an all nighter but none of my colleagues would have begrudge me the fact that that setback got the waterworks going.
They got me over here cracking up 😂 I love these ladies friendships!! I believe they all have genuine love for each other.

Another time I cried was because I lost my job. I try not to cry anymore. Because I feel like people think that shows weakness, and they try to prey on you or whatever.

That makes perfect sense though. She probably is FINALLY comes to terms with her sexuality, meaning believing that she actually is sexy and has adult womanly sex appeal. She has talked about this many times before, how she always thought that people felt like Tia was the sexy twin and Tamera was the goofy funny twin. So, since being on this show, and creating her own unique identity as a woman, she is finally seeing herself as that. She probably sees Adrienne as a woman who she admires for being in touch with her sexuality in a respectful mature way, so her mind just combined the ideas in the dream. That’s usually how dreams work.

I try my very hardest to never cry at work. I have cried maybe 3 times in the 4 years I've worked at my place of employment. I feel like if I cry there, the sharks in the work place will smell the blood and come for me.

Crying doesn't always mean sadness, it could mean empathy, it could mean relieving oneself, it could also mean we feel strongly about a situation or we feel joyful so crying is part of human expression and it's not a negative thing and society has to learn to understand and accept the reality. It requires courage and vulnerability to express one's true feelings. I see why these ladies are so beloved. They are so genuine and committed to doing a great job on the show, totally themselves.

I cried at work last week, in front of everyone too. I was on Facebook and I saw my bro's post saying "Goodbye. I love you all and take care." He has been in a depressive state for awhile and I thought he committed suicide. So my best friend tried to get me to calm down and start calling everyone to see if someone could go to his place and see if he was okay.
Don't worry, he is fine and he is staying with our older brother for awhile to make sure he is okay.
Apart of me feels like Adrienne had a feeling the whole time. 😭
I had really bad depression and anxiety and had to go to the bathroom and cry and calm myself down every morning before I could calm down enough to do my job. I had fear of the marketplace syndrome where I would have panic attacks out of nowhere, like on the bus to work for instance. I worked for a temp agency for a year during that period and never let it affect my work, but that was a really hard time for me. If I could have found a legit work from home position, I would have taken it in a heartbeat. I am disabled now, 4 time cancer survivor with a lot of health problems, but mentally I am as healthy as I have ever been.
