    Got to say that you are fast becoming my glow girl, you always manage to perk me up with your enthusiasm and cuteness.
    I have been doing the mung beans but i have them with lemon juice like dan as they can be a little bland to my still SAD palette.
    They are definitely a super food as they digest so easily and seem to make me feel.... Happy! yeah weird i know but 30 minutes later i notice a definite raise in my vibration.
    I like to pick at them with my fingers and use them for snacking.

    Oh my gosh Dara! This soup killed it! I love it so much. One of the best raw soups I have ever had!!!! And no nuts or oil!!!
    (I left out the oil because I am trying to clear dampness!) I dont care what Chinese Medicine says about not eating raw, when we process all of these greens in the vitamix before consuming is it really so hard on one's digestion? ANyways, I really really love this recipe. I did have a blender with small fresh Celery from my garden, spinach and tatsoi from farmers market and cilantro and dill. Half teaspoon garlic powder, half teaspoon salt. Half a lemon and a half an avocado. I topped with nutritional yeast and the avo slices. And sprinkled Cayenne in last at the end because I forgot it earlier :) This is so good. Thank you Dara. I love your videos and you are an inspiration!

    Hi Dara! I love greens so after learning about this soup, I decided to make it. I used all the ingredients you mentioned in the video but I ended up with a mixture way too strong to eat. Maybe I went a little heavy on one of the greens, I don't know. What do you suggest in order to bring my soup "down" a little bit? Also, I can't stand the taste of pure nutritional yeast. Is there any thing else I can put on top of that soup? Thanks love!

    mmmmm...looks SO good! will get ingredients at market today! do u let the chia seeds soak in ur drink? do u blend them?

  • @daradubinet
    @daradubinet  13 років тому

    @305kaddillak
    yes i let the chia soak for a half hour or more! they get soft and absorb the water. no blending. refreshing!!! :)

    Looks amazing. Will try this. I learned alot from this.
    comment...have Gage stand further away with the cam so we can see the whole prep area and what you are doing instead of right on top of the blender. Makes it more interesting to watch all the prep. For those of us who are not chefs, we like seeing the process. You could probably make the vid with natural lighting as well. I think all the vids you did with Dan in your kitchen were with natural light and they came out great. thanks D

    Looks like a very tasty soup. I'll have to give this a try but don't have a Vitamix. My blender will most definitely won't make it as smooth as yours. Quick question....do you grind your nutritional yeast? It looks so fine/powder-like. I have the one made by NOW brand but it's more in the flakes form. Also, where can you get mung beans? I've checked my local health food store but no luck. Thanks!
