I was an audience member twice in 2000, and nothing had changed by that time, the set was small and the music was played at such a low volume, you had to fake a fake dance. Highlight of the shows was Scooch, Yippy
The camera men were brutal, just shoved you out of the way. Craig David messed up 3 times during his performance, the director got huffy, poor Craig looked deflated, but nailed his performance. Security was really strong when entering the building,, Scooch had spent too long under the sunbed, and were completely orange. Sweet female attitude were sweet, very pretty. Hanson had wires everywhere on the stage, one of them tripped on one. The audience members were mostly stage kids or wannabes. The music was played sooo low, you could just about hear it. Can't remember much else, it was over really quick, as most of the show was links for TV audience only.
