When I played this infront of my cat that has kittens she got angry and her tail got bushy 😭
I play this to a kitten I adopted from the street few hours ago, now she/he is in a comfy blanket with some milk I bought from pet store. Since a kitten has a low surviving rate without it's mother, I play this to comfort the kitten. I really hope she/he can grow up healthy.
Btw I need to feed and helping it excretion constantly every two hour, this will totally ruins my sleep schedule (which I never have before)

I adopted an 1 day old abandoned kitten, he's now 4 years old, lots of work but totally worth it. He got an upper respiratory infection at a couple weeks, vet put him on banana flavored antibiotics and he cleared up in no time.

I had to help a momma with newborns for a bit till she got some medicine for a URI. I helped the baby potty by using a warm, wet washcloth. I figured that'd simulate momma's tongue and I was right. Poor little thing really had to go!

I want to thank you for this. This video helped me catch an abandoned/stray kitten that wouldn't come to me. I played it a few times with wet cst food and the poor baby came right out, crying like mad. It helped me save her life.

I did that with another "Mama Cat calls kittens" video. That little stray ran right to the sound.
Drackore used that combination (video and wet food) today to lure out a stray that was under a car.
The mom must be really young herself. If you look at the 0:50 mark, her eyes are still changing color to all yellow. That's usually within the first year.
Cats can and do go into heat as early as 5 months old. 😬
i got a new kitten today and it found a hole in the bottom of my couch. She's not tame and couldn't find her way out. i put this video on and held my phone up to the hole, thank God it worked to get her out! 😃😃😃😍😍😍😀😀😀😊😊😊
Jeri Mata they are so good at finding holes. When my cat was a kitten, she found a hole under a kitchen cabinet and would go in there all the time. I was afraid she was going to get stuck in the wall or fall down to the unit beneath us. LOL
Mother cats are the best! They do almost wash the fur right off those kittens, though!

Every orange momma kitteh I've seen has been a tremendously good mother. Our cat in NH would bring half-dead prey to her babies to finish off, lol! We'd take the whole lot of them and shove them out the door, let them carry on from there. Another time, a kitten had got lost in one of our fields and we were all out searching for it. A little bit later, Momma comes walking up the path with a baby swinging from her mouth. This momma here is such a talker to her babies! And they're so beautiful, orange kitties are my favorite (but I love all kitties, I'm a crazy childless cat lady).

A tried to true way to bond a mother with her kittens is to take the kittens by their back legs, swing their head to collide with the mama cats head as hard as you can. This creates a bond between the two.

Omg there was a little stray in my neighborhood and they were all ginger cats omg. This was the same behavior but sadly I couldn't take them in. That still didn't stop me from feeding the mother tho lol

My Emily surprised me by giving birth to a single perfect, healthy kitten under my bed three years ago. She talked to him like this all the time when he was little. Now that he is grown up and big, they don't get along anymore.. but she often picks up her stuffed toys and talks to them the same way. A little sad actually.
