Great job! I had a 4.0 X-Men back in 2010....I should have kept it. Bought for $1000, sold for $1600. So now there is a 4.0 AND a 5.0 in the CGC census of the same book. Sorta skews the rarity of this comic.
As I have explained over and over in other videos - the old labels DO get returned to CGC. I ask my clients to mail em back and I drop off stacks at every con. CGC accepts them at their booths no questions asked and they can be mailed to the CGC shipping adress 😒
make sure you do a cotton round and a Absorene Dry Sponge on the book first to lift of the "loose" dirt first which helps cut back on erasing too hard.
I had to close my eyes when you cracked it out 😂. A full grade bump is amazing . great work

Are you putting any pressure when erasing? I find that even with little to none, it leaves traces where I’ve erased, on white, under side lighting.
Yes - some. Could be kind of eraser. Also can try to polish. These don’t leave a streak

Why did you rule out BLED to whiten the pages?
Did not need it and would not have helped much
