2024 : Year of the “Double portion”
"9 When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?”
“Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.
10 “You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours-otherwise, it will not.”
11 As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. 12 Elisha saw this and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.
13 Elisha then picked up Elijah’s cloak that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan. 14 He took the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and struck the water with it. “Where now is the Lord, the God of Elijah?” he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over. (2 Kings 2)
1. Mantles are falling. Who will pick them up?
Be at the right place at the right time this year. Pray for that.
2. Double for your trouble.
"Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion,and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance.And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.

“For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing.In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.

Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples.All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.” (Isaiah 61:7-9)
- God will deal with the root of your shame. Some were immobilized because of shame. Justice to those who have been put to shame.

This is incredibly timely to hear. Jesus has been doing this in my life over the past few months through hours of prayer and time in the word. I have lived in fear and social anxiety for many years and God brought me to the root of the issue and that was shame and he has delivered me from so much! It was a heavy heavy year of oppression and having to rely so heavily on the Lord but SO much healing has taken place, Praise the Lord! Prayers for every root of shame to be done with in Jesus mighty name! Thank you for your obedience!

True about the demons and evil spirits and shame in Hawai’i! Shame in such a heavy demon over Hawai’i! Growing up on O’ahu I was exposed to it! And also the false gods they worship! Aumakua their family gods as well. Strong deliverance is so necessary! Lord have Your way! Amen!

“ 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of H 27:24 im who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:” Man doesn’t truly have freedom of choice. Only within God’s will-God’s free choice. It will set our faith free to actually know that we have nothing to do with our salvation and destiny. The decisions we make are controlled by the God of grace. Grace that He will not share with another. If you think back, you’ll realize that the life-changing decisions you’ve made, we’re not made by you at all, but Him, the One that loved you from the beginning.
Jesus hear my prayers. As a single mom I’m struggling to make ends meet. Lord give me strength to get through each day. Both of my sons are autistic and require much from me. I’m struggling. Struggling to buy groceries struggling to pay rent. I ask that you bless me with your wisdom and guidance, as I navigate parenthood on my own heal my lupus and heart disease and continue to give me strength to keep going so I may watch my sons grow into men. ❤
