We all knew Milano had something to do with Shannon exit. It’s not news
No, YOU and your friends “knew.” Cuz you and your friends were there, right? So y’all know something more than the rest of the public. Despite Shannon having the difficult reputation and all before even getting casted on the show right? and despite Shannon refusing to attend mediation when Alyssa made the attempt and publicly apologized for whatever part she played in their beef all those yrs ago, right? It’s all Alyssa, right? Milano can’t help if she triggers you by merely existing.

The show was very good. All of them portrayed being sisters really well. That’s some great acting to hide all the backstabbing going on the set.

I never liked Shannons character on the show, and later on when Holly's character took over lots of her characteristics I dissliked her as well. But it's no secret that people have had issues working with Shannon, she's been let go from Beverly hills because nobody wanted to work with her. I am not a fan of alissa the last few years she's been a hypocrit like no other but I understand not wanting to work with divas and for some reason all four of them think they are more than just some actors playing pretend..

Holly, Shannen, and Rose aren't looking great and every time they open their mouths about this situation they say something that makes them look worse to me. 1. Doherty had problems on set in previous Sets already,she was fameous for problematic to work with
2.Combs stayed for 5 seasons after Milano allegedly got her best friend fired?
3.McGowan is constantly lying when she opens her mouth, and weirdly enough she talks about narcissistic people when she is the real Narcissist

@@KrisKk08 guest stars, a producer for three seasons, and others who worked behind the scenes have come out in support of Alyssa. I believe they were all awful, but I think Alyssa was the least awful, simply because Alyssa is the only one who is not being awful now
Rose seems more and more mentally unstable. Shannon has a big history of being difficult, and Hollie was I think quite normal for a while but now looks a lot older than she should.
Seems like they are not happy Alyssa seems healthy and happy. Very sad, was one of my fav shows 😢

Tell me you got someone fired without telling me. 😂 Milano made it blatantly obvious with her word salad “admissions” that she purposefully went after Shannen out of shear jealously and wanted to be the lead. And honestly, it’s so evident that she wanted to be the star of Charmed. She not only got first billing after Shannen left but also every single episode revolved around Phoebe’s love life, her wardrobe, and themed episodes: being a mermaid, queen of the underworld, genie, etc. I sense she used Shannon’s reputation of being difficult to work with to her advantage and I’m sure her mother encouraged. She knew she could make it believable seeing how Shannen once worked for Spelling and had been fired before. Her little remark she made about her lawyer being the same she had then really drives it home - sure you may not have had the power to get anyone fired but your lawyer sure did!
It’s honestly a sleazy jerk decision from her after all these years. Shannen is dying and just wanted to clear her name. It isn’t as if Shannen decided to, out of the blue, 25 years later, stir up some drama - she just wants to clear her reputation before she dies. Milano could have easily been the bigger person and just came clean and admitted it. But no, a narcissist would never admit they’re wrong!

It’s blatantly obvious she went after Shannen out of jealousy? It’s evident she wanted to be the star of Charmed? Based on what?! Not only did Charmed not have a star, but if it did, it certainly wouldn’t be Alyssa. The same way first billing didn’t make Shannen the star, it didn’t make Alyssa the star. I don’t know what standards you use, but for me, the star of show is determined by more than just how soon they appear in the credits or the number of episodes revolve around them. Especially when those episodes involved either trying to find/keep a man, or turning into something so you can show as much skin in a silly costume.
It’s obvious you're just making assumptions and giving Shannen pity due to her health, but that doesn’t mean she’s telling the truth. You’re saying all she wants to do is clear her name, but literally nothing has stopped her from doing that. She’s the one who chose to spend the past 20+ years lying about being fired. Regardless of her reputation, how could Alyssa make people see things that supposedly never happened? Did she go around spreading rumors? Did she show up on set claiming Shannen attacked her?
At the end of the day, you don’t what happened and the people involved to this day refuse to tell the full story. Yet you’re so sure you know all of the facts to the point where you’re saying Alyssa just needs to come out and admit it, as if it’s been proven she did anything wrong.

There are always three sides to every story. Shannen's side, Alyssa's side, and what REALLY happened. I'll choose to remember how great the show was and I'll always love it. It's a shame that it all spilled out like this and that it couldn't have been handled years ago and squashed.

Shannen was always the star in a series and made it great. She made BH90210 and Charmed
3 out of the 4 stars get along. I think it’s the 4th one that’s the problem. Especially when she desperately continues to try to remain relevant by keeping her name in the news. So sad. Move on Phoebe.
Its funny as a young girl, i never cared for "Prue" or Shannon but once Rose came on, it seemed like Alyssa was getting sexier roles, and the script revolved more around her and I think she was dating Beltazar or something but i felt like the producers must've liked her or were sleeping with her or something for this type of change... I watched it but the original 3 were the main reason I got hooked in the first place

The producers made a grave mistake for siding with the bratt Milano instead of firing her. The show felt vacant after Shannon left. I stopped watching a season after. Shannon was beloved by the fans and would have kept the show going
I’m an OG fan watching since the premiere of this show, and 20 years ago and up until now I’m so sad still about this story. So sad that all four of them are fighting (or 1 vs 3), and can’t make up and all just get along. This past megacon would’ve been a chance for the first time that all four could have been united

She had a reputation of being rude, cruel, and unprofessional on sets long before she did Charmed. Aaron Spelling probably liked her for whatever reason and decided to give her another chance and it just didn't turn out well. Always knew Alyssa was responsible for Shannen being fired, she had the most to gain, and she got it, Alyssa became the lead after Shannen left.
Alyssa has controlled the narrative for over two decades now, now she’s being exposed for the narcissist she is, how is it Shannen, Holly and Rose have all had issues with Alyssa? It’s obvious that Alyssa was the problem and not Shannen
Yet weirdly I never saw Alyssa as the lead after Shannen left. For a lot of people, I think Holly was absolutely the lead in terms of Piper now being the oldest sister, the mother, the most powerful. She took Prue's place. Phoebe was always a supporting character in my eyes and actually more of a comedic character and generally an awful human being compared to Paige and Piper.
Well I guess this is the final nail in the coffin of my hopes for an Original cast members reboot. It's sad to think that with such a successful show they had so many issue behind the scenes.

What we didn’t know was that Shannon had the opportunity after season 1 to axe her but she chose not to. Alyssa got to make the same decision in season 3! This speaks well to someone’s character.

So glad that Shannen, Holly, and Rose are all supporting each other and finally going public with the truth. It's quite clear that Alyssa forced Shannen out - and it's ridiculous that she continues to deflect and deny the facts. I wish they'd do a Charmed reunion TV movie - with Shannen resurrected and working with sisters Holly and Rose to search for the kidnapped Alyssa (Phoebe) so that Alyssa would be missing in most of the story!

Are any of us truly shocked? I'm glad that Shannen and Holly can fight those past demons, and leave it where it needs to be. I loved the show.. and, yes, it was obvious to so many of us that the show/storyline seemed to revolve around Phoebe once Pru died. I continued to watch, missing Pru, loving Piper, and hopeful for Paige.
It will remain one of my past favorite shows.

Now that you said that, I see it. The show really did revolve around Phoebe after Prue died. It’s really upsetting Prue’s character never really received the proper closure she deserved.
We can argue Alyssa muscled out Shannen and took over the show fair & square, since she won the audience from Shannen. Alyssa literally stole the show. Is it really so tragic that Shannen couldn’t beat her at her own game? No one can blame Shannen for being sore, especially since the show was never better than the first season. The Phoebe show just got silly with age but Holly saved the show’s soul.

You're only getting the story from people in front of the camera. Many guest stars and, more importantly, the regular 9 - 5 "behind the scenes" people have come out in support of Alyssa, saying she was the only one who treated the crew like humans. Let me know when one of them comes out in support of Shannen

I'd totally be down for Shannen, Holly and Rose filming together and scenes with Alyssa being edited in later.
Not only has Alyssa taken responsibility for her portion, she also tried to have a third party mediator help them on set. Shannen and Holly refused to speak with the mediator. If The WB chose to stand by Alyssa after she threatened to sue, it’s b/c they knew she had grounds to do so. To me, Shannen was ultimately in the wrong.
As a Filipino Charmed Fan I dunno, I really didn't like the vibe of Shannen from the start of the series. But I have to admit, she eventually grew on me. But given the choice of who stays? I'd prefer Alyssa. I really loved her character in the series. And your comment should be highlighted. 🙂

Alyssa apologized twice in the past for whatever part she played during their shenanigans and once during the show attempted to attend mediation which Shannon refused to do.
Holly and Shannon knew each other PRIOR to filming Charmed and were close before then and close on set which gives off the impression that they both ostracized Alyssa during her and Shannon’s issues. Alyssa once described it as “high school” on set which Holly deflected during a Breakfast Club interview by saying that Alyssa “never even went to high school,” so Alyssa’s truth and perspective could very well b valid just as Shannon’s is.
There may not be a sole villain here and many of y’all demonizing Alyssa disingenuously are conveniently disregarding Shannon’s reputation she had even prior to Charmed as far as being difficult to work with. Could that have been bs when she was just strong minded and passionate? Sure. But it was her reputation nonetheless. They both likely made immature choices during different periods on set.
Holly hearing from 1 producer that Alyssa gave an ultimatum and providing no additional information doesn’t explain what the work environment was like up until that point that Alyssa allegedly said that. Multiple things could b true and I ain’t jumping at the chance to demonize one woman just bc the other is sick. The both of them are iconic actresses who made an iconic show and it’s unfortunate that they still have yet to talk about this shxt in person. 🤦🏾♀️

I hate how public perception keeps switching every few years and people just forget everything before and choose a side. It's clear all four of them are difficult to work with in some manner. A few years ago Holly had a feud with Shannen and liked Alyssa. All four of them created toxic workplace environment. Some did it more than others.

Whatever it is that happened, it's more than 20 years ago, they should let it rest. Even if Alyssa had complained about Shannen, it was ultimately the producers' choice to axe Shannon. Knowing her history of being booted off a show before, this shouldn't really be a big shock. Alyssa is the smarter one in not trying to bring a 20+ year old feud to life again. I too have heard enough about all of this. Also, Rose is the last one that should get involved in this feud, she's the one who replaced Shannen and in fact should be thankful for that, cause it really was the gig that boosted her career and made her the celeb she is today.
It’s such a shame, my fantasy has been shattered. I always thought Shannon left to pursue other things, I didn’t realise she was pushed out. Melissa Milano has been showing her true colours over the last few years, it all makes sense now.
I personally think Alyssa was the one who was experiencing bullying/mobing, and who eventually had no other choice but to complain to the management about Shannon in order to protect herself. Anyone would do the same. I would. Holly's word doesn't necessarily mean anything: she wouldn't be the first one who was on bully's side, gaslighting bulling victims even more. And she probably felt like she owed Doherty for that job. Just because both S and Rose don't like Alyssa, doesn't necessarily prove anything either. In schools too, often more than one bully hates one kid, but most often, it tells the least about the kid being bullied. Producer and technical personel have all said that Alyssa was the one who behaved totally okay.

@@heathergraham2581 you are right. We can't know for sure, no one was social anthropologist doing ethnography on the spot. That's why I personally stress the importance of other people who got in the role of witness, plus the other testimonies about Shannon difficulty.
Being competitive per se isn't bad, and it can be done in a fair way. Here, however, it could be that Alyssa's competitiveness got sharper and aggressive, but only after Shannon started bullying her. Alyssa probably didn't like and was rude to her too, but the bully, Shannon, was the one who started that interpersonal dynamics, bullys usually do that.
Mediation and all, it seems quite fair to the other side who doesn't like you and doesn't have your best interests at heart. It shows how deeply she cared about the series and wanted it to survive despite the problems between ensemble members. Anything other than that wasn't Alyssa's problem.
Alyssa was not bullied,Shannen was great on that set. Brian Krause (Leo) said it is a myth that she was difficult and called her the “hardest working person on that set”
@@starsaligned2215 sometimes even the hardest working people have their target whom they bully. One doesn't necessarily exclude the other. There are people who say the same for Alyssa, so.. like I said, we can't say for sure.
But, don't you all find a bit suspicious how Shannon portrays her self as a total victim, Alyssa at leas took her part of responsibility? It's a bit strange.
Shame really because Alyssa basically shot herself in the foot. Once Shannon left, it basically went down hill from there! Charmed was never the same again.
I disagree. I loved Shannen/Prue, but Paige was an awesome addition to the show.

As a fan, there was a sudden change on the show after Prue died. It wasnt the same. Whenever i do my rewartch , it was just those 1-3 seasons. The only good thing after Prue dies was the introduction of Paige

People who pick sides in a feud they haven't witnessed: Think about someone you are on bad terms with. Someone who said or did something that was wrong and it hurt you in some way. Imagine, you tell the story to your friends. They're obviously on your side and you all agree that that person is such a fraud. Now imagine this: That person has the same opinion about you and they are certain that they are in the right and you are in the wrong. They tell the story to their friends and they agree with them. The crazy thing is: both of your stories are true... from your own perspectives.
Let's be realistic: The fact that Shannen was fired is not the cause here, it is a consequence. A culmination of the events that happened behind the scenes during the previous 3 years. The producers surely knew about these events. It really doesn't matter who gave what ultimatum. At the end of the day, it was the producers' decision, not anyone else's.
You can pick sides, of course, but realise that you didn't pick that side based on facts. It's only because you dislike the other one for whatever opinionated reason.
It's so obvious to me that Alyssa is trying to save face. All she would have to do is except responsibility for her part and let the healing begin. Refusing to say yes i take responsibility for my part in her firing and yes i could have stopped it. She chose not too. Simple.
But she said that she takes responsibility about being competitive.

I was just saying that I remember Alyssa describing the set as “high school” and Holly deflecting during an interview with Shannon by saying “she didn’t even go to high school!” Holly KNEW Shannon prior to Charmed and they were close then and during the show which to me leaves the impression that they very well mightve ostracized Alyssa and still seem to b doing so especially with Rose present since she’s got a political beef w her.
I remember Alyssa apologizing TWICE for whatever part she played, attempting to attend mediation and Shannon refusing to b apart of it. Now Holly’s coming with this additional information decades that of what 1 producer told her about Alyssa having offered an ultimatum, and people are automatically believing it and or demonizing her for it as if she couldn’t have made that offer bc the work environment was toxic for her.

@@jackkolero there has been several guest stars and some crew members that have come out saying that the girls fought each other all of the time. In this instance, they’re all being terrible to Alyssa but back during filming they all were equally involved.
Exactly, just look at the first season interviews and you can see that it was just like high school. Alyssa seemed so left out there and you can clearly see that Shannon and Holly were so close. I think they all had something to do with it, but to blame it all on Alyssa is not right.

Basically Alyssa felt she was in a toxic work environment and Shannen I think overpowered a lot behind the scenes ....and Doherty I think wanted a lot more creative control too ...as well as being in the centre of posters and branding etc for those first two seasons that Milano really felt like she was getting sidelined and also that it wasn't a collaboration so much as them against us mentality....she filed a complaint but spelling entertainment and paramount utilised this to instead of make a more suitable work condition for the actresses or level playing field to use it as a chance to be rid of Doherty .... The media twisted it that Alyssa got rid of Shannen which holly then believed I think and thus it wasn't the best situation for them all inspite of McGowan being brought in hence why Milano and combs became producers on the show to ensure neither of them were offed as such ....but now it's transformed into something else

Come on, Holly, really? Alyssa did not say you are liars, she just said her side of the truth. She has the right to do so, just as you and Shannen have. Alyssa was maybe the most successful actress among them back then, but I don't think she had the power to let anyone go. She was not as huge as Jennifer Aniston or Julia Roberts.

Same I used to watch the reruns on tnt before going to middle school. The first 3 seasons had a darker tone, around season 5 it had a more goofy tone n it got so bad that I stopped watching.

I loved Charmed series bcoz of the three sisters. Piper was a sweetheart, Prue was the best❤ and Phoebe also. I never thought Alyssa had done such thing. They shouldnt haave feud among themselves. It was such a hit show❤

Sounds to me that the fued between Alyssa and Shannen got so bad that Alyssa threatened to sue (over the hostile work environment) and leave the show telling them that it was her or me. And the producers decided to go with Alyssa over Shannen. The whole "Alyssa had the power to say no"-thing doesn't make sense in that situation because if Alyssa wanted Shannen to stay she would've obviously been the one to step away from the show. Either way one of the sisters had to go because Alyssa couldn't work with Shannen.
They should’ve honestly just cancelled the show after Shannen left. What a sad situation.

It’s disappointing because not only does this ruin Charmed’s legacy but Shannen is fighting for her life. We all know we don’t have an infinite amount of time with her. I don’t want this to be what we’re left with.
I am sorry Shanen has died. She was such a charming person and it was so easy to enjoy her acting. You really felt she was the big sister. It's a shame there was conflict in the set.
Honestly this show would have done fantastic even without Alyssa. Maybe even better with these 3 only ❤
