Most of this was shot in Hermosa Beach by Don Brown. The band and awards ceremony was filmed at 1st St and the Strand in front of what was then the ZTO fraternity house. The Blazers also did surf music sound track for the film.

Renny Bowden Good memories I grew up in hermosa beach on 2nd street and Monterey st. From 63 to 73 and surfed at 2nd street.
