in 2023 I just bought that exact car, Torch Red, Z51, M7 Adrenaline red interior convertible. It cost almost the same now as when new, but I love it!!
Best deal on wheels. A super car for only 56K. The more you learn about this car, the more you like. GM hit a home run with this one.
Very nice review, thanks!! The new Corvette C7 as a convertible with red colour looks just stunning!! Also love the interior style!!
We had the chance to drive the CORVETTE C6 in MUNICH and took it also to a COUNTRY SIDE DRIVE... watch it on our CHANNEL. :) Spoken about the NISSAN 370Z... we have it DRIVEN in JAPAN...picking up our MODEL AYAMI!! ;) See you guys!! :)
Agreed; this is also the first corvette I wanted, back when it came out in 2014. Other than the 1962 'vette, I never cared for Corvettes at all. Until 2014.
Every Corvette since 2014, styling especially, has appealed to me.
FWIW: our C8 review drops next week.
Very nice job! Love the vintage footage and the way you did this review!
U guys need to do more reviews more often!
Thanks! We have more coming.
Thanks Ryan. Entertaining review.
Lovely review, you got yourself a fan.

Very good video...beautiful scenery.
What a place to do a red corvette review..nailed it
8 years later the car costs the same.
yup. Its basically the same price today
they need to put the cadillac digital guage cluster in this now
Enjoy it, Jerry!!! You deserve it :)
WTH? This car should be in the low 4's, 0-60. My 9 yr old Z4 with 225hp goes 5.4.
It seems no one listened to him. It's rated at 3.3 seconds from 0-60, but he was on an incline on a dusty and crumbling road, in old worn out tires. But he stopped on a slight incline, and got 5.4 seconds.
If there were performance tires on the car, and it was on a test track's surface, it's rated at 3.3 seconds.
You didn't get to drive the z51.
Nicely done!
Great review.
Nice review"
great scenery way to set up a shoot !
You got to be the dorkiest car reviewer on UA-cam.
ill say
Mmm. Possibly.
Dwight- False. search "Drivin Ivan Katz"
The original version had a part where he said "I've been driving this all day and I still haven't lost my virginity!"
@kombat Um, okay, why?
What a goofy reviewer.....5.4 secs is disgraceful for a 0 to 60 time in this car
It does 3.3 seconds in perfect conditions with performance tires on test track surfaces.
He stopped on an incline on a dusty crumbling road to do his test.
That's not bad for a car that's sub-500hp and sub500foot-pounds of torque. Also, the car gets about 30mpg on the highway, and it costs only $56,000 bucks.
I'd say GM found a great balance between style, cost, power, fuel consumption, and the quality of materials used.
A school bus driver near retirement drives a white C7, here where I live. Considering school bus drivers are paid crappy wages, it means GM is going to sell a lot because people who really want one are more likely to make their dream happen.
A car is more than just its stats on paper, else the only logical choice for anyone wanting a sports car would be to demand a Veyron. Anyhow, I'd say the 2014 C7 was a nice li'l sports car for someone who isn't racing on a track.
If you want to race title-for-title, though, get yourself a beatup Nissan 240, modify or replace the engine, strip out unnecessary weight from the car, add turbo, get the pistons up from 7PSI to about 24PSI, and go win yourself some vehicles.
The point is, what DOES getting from 0 to 60 quickly really do for you if you're driving your car around town?
Other than attract cops, I mean, lol.
No one cares how fast you get to 60, whether you drive a Ducati or a Lambo. It's just paper stats in perfect conditions. And no one cares about that. They care about how the car or motorcycle makes them feel when they drive it. :)
Way way way overpriced. You gottta be nuts. Fancied up C6. Has 285's on the rear. Get real. Id rather have a gen 1 Viper and modify it. Way more radical and way less money wasted
56K is overpriced???
9 Years later you could sell it and get 90%+ of your money back.
